The spectacular outdoor space is the focal point of this home, from the outdoor kitchen, abundant relaxed outdoor seating and hand-built local rock fireplace for those chilly Hill Country nights. You will fall in love with this beauty of a home, and the swimming pool and hot tub make for the perfect place to relax after a full day of shopping, wineries or hiking Enchanted Rock!!! Extras include outdoor games, a ping pong table and a Peloton bike for those with a Peloton account!

Well provisioned, self contained family getaway. Quiet country location with a relaxed vibe, yet only minutes away from the historic charm of Fredericksburg. Sunny Oaks is a standing event on our calendar.

Fantastic house for a large group. Plenty of space for 8 - w/o sharing beds or anyone being on the couch. Kitchen was a great layout and had everything we needed to prepare several meals. All seating areas were perfect for a large group to all be together. Outdoor living/kitchen area was our favorite for coffee in the morning. The pool was a total plus for us. And the hummingbirds were a lovely addition to our time outside.

Wonderful place to gather with family! The house is spacious with a great kitchen and the backyard area is wonderful, with a pool and outdoor covered areas to sit and entertain. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. This was our second time here and we hope to return!

PERFECT HILL COUNTRY GETAWAY!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunny Oaks Retreat! The outdoor space was nothing short of magnificent — from the comfortable seating areas to the relaxing hot tub, it was the perfect spot for morning coffee or late-night conversation. The house itself was spacious and beautifully designed, giving each of us our own private area while still feeling cozy and connected. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and gathering, and the arrival instructions were precise and easy to follow. One of the biggest perks was having no checkout chores! Of course, we did the respectful things like taking out the trash and placing towels in the laundry room, but it was such a treat to simply pack up and go without a long list of tasks. There were eight of us in total, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces were absolutely perfect for our group. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy Fredericksburg. Highly recommend Sunny Oaks Retreat — we can't wait to come back!
