Every season is the perfect time of the year for visiting Sequoia National Park & Three Rivers!! Spring brings cool weather and is a great time to hike or take a drive to see the beautiful trees. Summer is perfect for taking a swim in the river while enjoying some beautiful hikes among the trees. Be sure to take a picnic lunch and eat amongst the big trees or take a hike down to the river. Fall brings out the colors and cool temperatures while winter is breathtaking with snow on the big trees.
We offer a quaint but modern two bedroom one bathroom cottage in the perfect location. Only two minutes from the main center of town. Great getaway! This cottage sits in a quiet park like setting. Sequoia National Park entrance is about a 12 minute drive up the highway. Comfortable queen beds in each bedroom. Kitchen fully stocked. Outside seating to enjoy coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. EV charger available for additional fee.
We are a senior couple on a last minute get a way. Picked this place due to the rating and it was awesome. Very clean and newly remodeled. Close to a market and restaurants. Short drive to Sequoia NP. Would highly recommend. Watch for the deer and turkeys in the front yard.
Great place to return to after days in Sequoia NP; Great location, met our needs for separate sleep spaces and meal prep. Enjoyed being able to chill at night with a movie after a busy park day.
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. They were extremely nice and let us check in an hour early since we arrived ahead of schedule , so we could go the park and enjoy.
Wonderful stay! The cottage was very clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the Keurig maker, K cups and sugar/creamer! We were thankful for the ability to adjust the thermostat to stay cool at night. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the quiet, peaceful setting! Our only suggestion is to stop for groceries before arriving in Three Rivers, as the only market in town has a very limited selection and sells very overpriced groceries.
Nice spot. Third was the third stop on our trip and it was nice to not be in a hotel. Or interactions with the hosts we're very pleasant and their responsiveness before and during our stay was great.
Great property, awesome location. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to cook for the week. Kori was amazing to deal with and the house was very clean. Will stay again.
Perfect base for visiting Sequoia and Kingâs Canyon
Our family of four enjoyed this updated, clean, quiet, cute cottage while visiting both Sequoia and Kingâs Canyon National Parks. It was exactly as represented and probably the cleanest VRBO weâve ever stayed in. We were easily able to cook, BBQ, sleep well, and relax. We really have no complaints. Enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys, vultures, bunnies and other little critters in the neighborhood. Thank you for a great stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was a great location for our visit to the national parks, only 15 minutes from the entrance of Sequoia NP. The beds were comfy and clean.
Such a great little cabin and location. The cabin was so so well stocked with everything we needed and when we had one thing missing the host immediately drove over with it! The water was quite chlorine-y and hard to get particularly hot or cold, but everything else was so perfect. The folder wit the information was helpful and thought out, and when the hosts heard we were planning to go to Sequoia they sent over so much great info ahead of time that helped a lot with our planning. Amazing nature and peace literally on your doorstep, 15 mins to a National Park, great coffee at the local coffee shop, village store had everything we needed. It was a great stay.
This was the perfect little spot for our Sequoia visit! Very clean, quiet, a few glimpses of wildlifeâŠdeer, rabbits, turkeys. And enough choices for dining in our 2 night stay!
Stayed here two nights with our family while visiting Sequoia National Park. This cottage had everything we needed with an amazing view. Had all the amenities from the shampoo, etc, to a variety of coffee cups with creamer and sugar packets. The ziploc bags were a huge bonus to pack snacks for hiking. The beds were nice and comfy after a long day of hiking the mountains.
As described, kid/family friendly, and great location for visiting national parks. Host was very thorough with instructions and quick to respond to any questions.
Very cute property. Lovely inside and very comfortable. Plenty of towels are provided. If youâre using this to go to Sequoia NP, youâre very close to the entrance.
We enjoyed our Christmas holiday in this cottage. It matched the description exactly. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to town and to the entrance to Sequoia.
We felt very at home in this clean and welcoming space. It is just as described and we had great communication with the host. Thank you so much! The only quirk is that the water smells like sulfur so bring your own water!! Still a great spot!
We stayed there as a family with kids for one night and we loved it. It was clean, quiet and easy to find. There was a fully equipped kitchen (also stocked with some basics). There was also shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the shower. Note there's no washer (it was not expected - the listing is accurate).
Three Rivers is a convenient base for exploring Sequoia National Park (in fact, we regretted not staying there longer, throughout our Kings Canyon visit as well - for which we planned to stay around Miramonte).
Property and location wonderful. Hosts Debra and Mike were great. Day after arrival we had no hot water. They came over immediately and by the next day there was a new hot water heater in place with plenty of hot water. Mike also gave us great suggestions on what was Some great places to explore in Sequoia/Kings canyon NP. Thanks so much for your input and help.
We booked this cottage so we could explore Sequoia National park and Kings Canyon. We knew before we booked that the Three Riverâs entrance to the park wasnât open this summer- and although the drive to Big Stump entrance is lengthy (1.5 hours) it was worth it and this place was still a lovely place to stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The lay out is spacious (one large room with kitchen on one side and sofa on the other), bedrooms were equal size and beds comfy. Grill was great, and the host responsive to questions. As others have noted, you may want to bring bottled water for drinking/coffee/cooking as the water from the tap doesnât taste great. The host provides a book inside with grocery store, restaurant and park tour recommendations- they were all helpful! We would stay again!
