Charming, stunning, beautiful and private apartment. Located only 5 minutes from down town Ithaca commons with many different restaurants and variety of shopping possibilities. We are only 3 min. form Ithaca College and 9 min. from Cornell University.
Walking distances to Buttermilk falls state park trial.
The property is tucked away by beautiful natural surrounding’s with many trees and beautiful landscape.
The garden level Contemporary retreat has an open bright cozy floor plan, with many window. A sliding glass door lead's you to a private partial covered and open patio to enjoy the outdoors. You access the apartment via private entrance door with keyless entry. Fully stocked and well equipped Kitchen, for your convenience.
There are 2 bed rooms. The Master bed room has a comfortable queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has a twin size bed with a twin size trundle to pull out. Full bathroom with shower. There are also washer and dry located in the apartment for guests to use. Free parking,. For your entertainment we have a Smart TV, Roku, Netflix... and a great Wifi connection.

This is our second stay with Sabine. Once again, she made it comfortable, clean, and genuinely feel like home. Highly recommend. Short drove to both universities and the town.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet, easy to access and had everything we needed. Nice setting in nature. We saw a 10 point buck stroll through the back yard while we were enjoying our coffee in the living room. It's only a few miles outside of town and very close to Buttermilk park. The host was easy to communicate. We would stay there again if we come back to the area.

Stay Here!

Sabine has thought of everything, so that is why we returned! The wonderful indoor space is equaled by the huge, covered outdoor patio. Somehow this visit was even better than last time thanks to the peacock that visited for over an hour one morning. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, spotless place, you will want to stay here.

Property was beautiful and very well maintained. Many thoughtful touches included lovely fresh flowers placed throughout, slippers, robes, extra pillows, blankets, everything perfectly in its place. Even fresh coffee grounds and every appliance you can think of or need. Very lovely place. The owner was very congenial and responsive. We would definitely come back!

The apartment was excellent. Modern, clean, and the hosts have incorporated tons of little details to make it comfortable. Sabine was in touch with us periodically to make sure all was well. The location is excellent if you're in town for either college (Ithaca or Cornell), as well as close to Commons, and other outdoor activities. I've already booked it for another stay later in the year when I'm back in the area.Highly recommended. Even their guest book includes pages of compliments.

reunion weekend stay

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment! It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Sabine has thought of all the little things that you could want or need. It was super convenient to all the things that we wanted to do including downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and especially Buttermilk Falls which is so close. We wished we had more time to spend here and would definitely stay here again if we are back in Ithaca!!

Perfect.

This is a beautiful apartment. Sabine has thought of everything - the beds are incredibly comfortable, the apartment has everything you'll need, and the view from the living room/kitchen is gorgeous. It is a very restful place to be. Sabine is very kind and accommodating. I hope I can book this place again soon.

Thoughtful Touches & Various Seating areas

We especially appreciated the quiet and the reading lights beside each bed. There were snacks, comfy beds and pillows, and many other small touches. The kitchen was easy to cook in. And, there were numerous spots to sit: a small table, bar, living room, a desk in one bedroom, as well as two spots outdoors. This was the cleanest VRBO I've ever been in; perhaps in part because it is new.

Reunion

I stayed at this property for my college reunion. It was a very nice property. The host was extremely nice and very responsive. I traveled with small kids and did not realize this property did not have a tub, which was a little challenging with small kids. I also wish the rugs were cleaner since she requested we do not wear shoes. We had a good time there.

Wow - an amazing and lovely place!

We loved Sabine’s wonderful place! Thoughtfully and beautifully designed and exceptionally organized. Amazingly well appointed with everything you need at your fingertips with nice personal touches like a fantastic basket of snacks, water in the fridge and so many gorgeous touches throughout the apartment and on the patio. Exceeds Expectations

I’ve stayed at many rental properties over the years and this was one instance where the property exceeded expectations. It’s a very private and wooded location but close to everything at the same time. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully appointed. It’s quite obvious that the property owners take great pride in its upkeep. Speaking of, Sabine was wonderful to work with and did everything she could to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend this property.

Ithaca Sanctuary

We had an excellent 4-night stay in this beautiful 2 BR, 1 BA property. The kitchen, living room and patio were really wonderful for our family. For two nights we even used the fold out sofa in the Living Room. Thankfully there were plenty of good quality towels and blankets. The property manager (who left fresh wild flowers for us in the entryway and kitchen) is very kind and helpful. A real highlight of being a couple miles outside of Ithaca is that you are able to go for walks without a lot of traffic.

luxurious experience

The reviews and pics were true! This was a dream getaway with the perfect host. Everything down to the handsoap was meticulously selected to make this the perfect, most comfortable stay. The only small drawback was that the heating system in the apartment can be quite loud at times, which might bother the most sensitive sleepers (it woke us once or twice). But even with that, I'd still choose this over any other rental because it was THAT good.

A true home away from home

I don’t know where to start. I’ll make it short and sweet by far the best Vrbo rental I’ve ever been in. Everything was a 10 from the grounds to The. I’m not gonna call it an apartment lower floor of the house and the courtyard all the appliances. The paint the bathroom everything was as good as it could get also Sabine who lives upstairs with a husband you would never know they were there other than when she came over to say hello, you could never go wrong renting this place
