What a great stay! This house made our amazing family weekend all possible. With being located just 10 minutes from everything, the arch, city museum, zoo and having a garage to park in, we felt like it was a home away from home. After every days worth of events our boys were thrilled to come back to this place! The space is beautiful and relaxing with multiple porches to have breakfast on. Everything was super clean, plenty of bowls, plates and coffee mugs provided! Wouldnât want to stay anywhere else after this experience!
We rented this property for our annual summer visit to St Louis to see our daughter, son-in-law, and precious granddaughter. This property is conveniently located within ten minutes of the famous Free St Louis Zoo and Science Center and five minutes from the new not so free Aquarium. My son-in-law loved the quick drive to St Louis University. The neighborhood is clean and relatively quiet. There is a slight hum of the freeway but nothing too annoying.
The entire house was spotless and well stocked with lots of towels, blankets, cleaning supplies, and soaps.
The property owner is exceptionally easy to communicate with and responds super quick. He is nice, patient, and understanding. My son accidentally broke a decorative item and the owner helped us compensate him quickly in a simple and straight forward way.
The kitchen is a dream to cook in. There is a beautiful new gas stove with high end pots and pans. The refrigerator is large and easy to store enough food for a crowd. We had ten of us there for meals and we easily cooked up breakfast, lunch, and dinner for everyone. I liked the abundance of plates and enough silverware for our crowd.
We had a lot fun in the fully automated game room playing pool and watching movies. I highly recommend asking Alexa to âmake the room extra cool!!!â It was a blast.
My daughter brought her one year old baby to play and I recommend bringing a couple baby gates if you have small children because the stairs are on both ends of the main level and made of hard sturdy wood. With the baby gates up our little one was free to roam.
The decor is modern and clean cut which adds to the flair of St. Louis. It adds to the clean relaxing environment.
GrubHub and InstaCart are readily available in this location. The local grocery store Schnuckâs has the best fruit And produce we have every had.
The air conditioning works especially well so if youâre prone to cold bring a sweater. All of our hot natured children felt like they had died and gone to heaven.
Overall we loved our stay in St Louis and this property made it the best.
The property was clean and ability to park in the garage was definitely a plus if you're ever in St. Louis and need a place to stay, then this is definitely the property to get.
This property was perfect for our short visit to St. Louis to see the Gateway Arch. We were traveling with our dogs, and this house was a short walk from a park good for walking dogs and had a small fenced in back yard, something often difficult to find in a city. It was also a short walk to a little breakfast spot. A short drive from the arch, this was the perfect place for our family.
We loved the house ,location near Lafayette Square which we wanted. Loved the fireplace & having a patio outback. The house could be a 10 if a few things were done. Like make sure all light bulbs working. Several out around house. And tv remote batteries out in living anrea Also we had to buy a wine opener. None found in kitchen. And in master suite shelves very dusty. I had to dust it off to lay clothes. And could only find 2 hangars in master. Also linen in both closets need to be organized. Looks just thrown in. And lastly in master you really need black out blinds or curtains. The light (Sun) started coming in around 5:30 am. You wonât sleep past then unless you wear a dark eye mask! Also it says it sleeps 10 but really would only 8 & thatâs really kids . Because itâs in master a fold out couch. Could you better pillows too. They were very uncomfortable .And with the space it would have been nice to have a bigger kitchen table. Our family played games & really could only play with 3-4 people at table & that was tight. Our girls & a niece were in the other 2 bedrooms & said felt beds were full & not queens. With the space in there they could easily put kings. That said we all did enjoy the modern layout & the garage.
Weâve booked this home two years in a row for a business convention. Itâs super close to down town area in an upper class quiet area. The home is beautiful, well stocked with lots of extras, and super clean. There is also ample parking. We have a large truck and trailer and were able to park it out front. We also found an incredible breakfast/lunch place within walking distance. We will be booking this home again.
My family came to STL for my husbandâs birthday weekend and to see the Metallica concert. There were 4 adults and my 12 year old son and there was definitely enough room for everyone to sleep and spread out. We loved the outdoor balconies and the pool table. Everyone had a great time and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!
