House was perfect for 4 adults and 2 young children in terms of space. The weather was kind so we hardly used the inside sitting room during the day. Bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly what we needed. The stone floors were easy to sweep. We had outdoor space for playing and barbecue facilities. Anne Marie was a very communicative host and responded quickly to messages.
To improve our stay.... curtains rather than blinds in the bedrooms. Our stay was early August so very light nights!
And some basic provisions like a dishcloth, teapot and a coffee cafetiere would be nice! (There is a pod coffee maker with a few of the pods)
Other holiday makers have mentioned the outdoor space and we did have visits from next-doors dogs as they can wander around the whole grounds. This wasn't an issue for us but others may be uncomfortable with it so would need to be aware.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Very Disappointing
So many issues but worst was being shown a broken shower when there is a heatwave. Owner told us how we could get it to work & next day nearly got scalded it was so hot. Dangerous. Should not be used.
Dogs able to roam free into road & next door. I asked owner before holiday if it was secure for dogs (this should have been put on the listing). She replied it was not secure but that the properties were separated by a gate. There was no gate, just an open area of grass. The downstairs bedroom replaced sitting room... consequently the so called "sitting room" is squashed into the corner of the kitchen. And I mean squashed. Cannot imagine 6 people trying to watch tv in this little space! Cups of tea have to be balanced on your knee . Adult in downstairs bedroom had miniature childs wardrobe so instead lived out of a suitcase. 2 adults would not fit comfortably in this bed, if at all! Door banged all night when it was windy. Mattress old thin and uncomfortable. I could go on but I will finish on a positive note....we love Anglesey, especially Beaumaris, and we visit as often as possible. Beautiful beaches and one near the property. So a very good location if you find the right place to rent.
The six of us really enjoyed the three bedroom cottage. Everything we needed was there and it was nicely secluded with a great garden. Only a short walk to the beach.
Amazing property and great value for the location and amenities. Close to the town and there is a beach about 5 minutes away that the dogs loved. The property will be amazing in the summer with access to a large garden. Inside the property was very clean and everything we needed was there. Really recommend!
We enjoyed Bryn Celyn very much,it was so peaceful .you could just go out the door and take walks. We wished we had a longer stay, maybe the next time.I would recommend it to any of my friends.

Comfortable, well furnished and kitted out, pleasant owner, lovely setting
We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has been refurbished to a high standard, everything is contemporary and clean, just to our taste. Loads of crockery and cutlery mean you aren't always hunting around for a mug or teaspoon! Situation is lovely - up a quiet lane, but easy to walk to the village and from there, to the sea. Weather wasn't fantastic but we enjoyed walking along the stream to the sea, and then following the beach up to Penmon Point and back again. We loved this part of Anglesey - beaches stretching for miles with hardly another soul on them in the middle of August! The owner was friendly, helpful and flexible. We would happily stay here again.
outstanding property in a great location. lovely owners too friendly and welcoming.
Property is close to Beaumaris with some lovely shops and restaurants (we went to the Neptune bistro which was very good). Boat trips to suit everyone. We went on fishing trip for 3 hours which was great, caught lots of fish but also had chance to see the seals too. The owners are lovely and added some extra touches which were great to find on arrival milk coffee tea and chocolates!!

My husband and I live in Cheshire. We purchased Bryn Celyn and Bryn Celyn cottage in 2009. We fell in love with the properties on the first visit and subsequently have completely renovated the cottage. We have spent holidays and weekends here ever since. However, as our children's school commitments have increased we cannot get there every weekend and we want to see these lovely properties utilised.
Bryn Celyn Cottage is a cottage next to farmland with amazing views from the upstairs bedrooms. I holidayed in Anglesey with my family when I was growing up and wanted my children to experience the same amazing scenery and feeling of freedom and well being that the area brings.
Close to Beaumaris, with its wide range of restaurants and shops. Well located for access across the island with the stunning Red Wharf Bay and its restaurants and amenities only a short drive away.
