With its wooden features and natural touches, this Breckenridge condo feels spacious in all the right ways. After a thrilling day out on the slopes, warm up by the gas fireplace in the living room, admire the views from the balcony, and wander over to the community hot tub to soothe your tired muscles. Even the car can stay warm in the heated garage!

This condo is certain to give you a ski vacation full of exploration. Breckenridge Ski Resort is just over a mile away, home to five different peaks, lovely aprés ski restaurants and venues, and the Rejuvenation Spa. In summer, enjoy four-wheel tours, mountain biking, and scenic walks on the Burro Trail, which passes through meadows and forest on its way to the Spruce Creek Trail. This is also a fantastic setting for day trips, with Keystone Resort (15 miles) and Copper Mountain Resort (16 miles) close by.

Location is ok

Location is great for walking the town and gondola. Spare shower downstairs leaks constantly when handle is off. Light bulb over kitchen table is so dim, hard to eat at table. Garage could swept out, had about 1" of crap from everyones cars melting off. Or at least have a push broom and dust pan in the garage and I would have done it. Overall just ok.

Great place!

This place was about a 15 minute walk to Main Street, was super clean, and had everything we could need. Overall we were all very satisfied with our stay!

For the price this unit was great. The location is great. The traffic noise is loud which was annoying at times. The furnishings and beds were comfortable. Could use more dishes and silverware but we made due with what they had.

Basically un-liveable

This condo is tiny, has appliances that do no work, and is not regularly taken care of. Our dishwasher did not work, and the hot water lasted about 3 minutes in the shower, so we had to take showers at different times and very quickly. The women could not wash their hair b/c of this. The manager apologized and said they couldn't get the technician to return their calls. The bedroom with the queen size bed has a TV that is a 17 inch computer screen, so you may as well watch your phone. They've got magazines that are 3 years old, and there is a landline phone that is just there for looks. In other words, they're not even taking the time to throw away stuff. They're just collecting a check and sending in a cleaning crew to update the sheets and bathrooms. There were spider webs on the walls, and it was basically just a dirty place. The "gas fireplace" works but puts off zero heat. The heat comes from the floor and works very well, so well that we had to crack the windows. When we did that, the window basically fell apart, so we had to try to repair it, and it wouldn't close all the way after that. About the only thing acceptable was the location, which was still a difficult walk to downtown and Peak 9, so driving is recommended. The pictures are done very well on this ad because it is not even close to what the pictures appear. I definitely would not stay here again.

Could be a nice rental…

Yes the location really is great. Easy in/out. Close to the gondola and main street. And between twin elks and the neighboring ski hill condo, the private/heated garage here is a plus. BUT… carpets still need cleaning in bedrooms and stairs (how long now?) When we arrived there was apparently an electrical problem that we were not advised of that had the east half the kitchen without power. As a result, they decided to run an extension cord duct-taped across the middle of the kitchen floor to run the fridge. It was trip hazard we found… twice. Fortunately the stove is on a different circuit and worked but the microwave above it was out. They put in a countertop micro in the meantime, but it took up space in an already small kitchen. Electrician came by one morning, but nothing changed. Not even the tripping hazard we told him about on the phone! You’ll also need a code to access to garbage dumpster shared with ski hill condos ( there’s a new code as of 9/29 according to sign outside the dumpster shed). But we weren’t provided one and the vacasa staff at the 24/7 phone number didn’t have it. Even after several calls to them during our 8 night stay they never got back to us with the code. We ended up leaving garbage bags in the garage for staff to remove after our our stay, which we hated doing. Truly unnecessary. This could be a very nice rental if it were maintained/managed and I hope that our review helps to move it in that direction. Will we rent at twin elks on our next run to Breck? Yes we would. Sadly, real question is will we return to unit A1.

Great location, ok property, poor communication

I stay out in Breck about a month each year. The location is great and close to the mountain and Main Street. The outdoor hot tub is very close. You can walk to the gondola or to the snowflake lift. Both are about 7 minutes. The place itself was dated. The beds in the second bedroom were too small for an adult friend to sleep comfortably. The heat made it incredibly dry and hard to sleep… even turning all the thermostats down didn’t help. It wasn’t terrible but not the best experience. I also left my boots in the condo when we left. I realized it quickly and called an hour after I left, spoke to a very friendly and helpful Vacasa representative who opened up the ticket and contacted the local office. A few hours later I received a message that they would be returned to the main street office where I could pick them up. So great news! Unfortunately had to wait until the following weekend to return, B when I called the next weekend before arriving, no one knew about my boots at the office. They contacted housekeeping and they didn’t have them either. So I don’t know if they never found them, or they did find them but lost them. But they are gone now. It is my fault for forgetting my things when checking out, but it doesn’t feel great to think you hadn’t lost your boots all week only to be told otherwise when you are able to pick them up. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to stay as long as you know about the pros and cons, but I wouldn’t highly recommend it either.

Great location, but needs a lot of work!!!!

Positive: great location. Easy to walk to town and get to mountain. Heated garage. Checkin and checkout was easy. Negative: The property is much smaller than described. Bedrooms downstairs and living room/kitchen upstairs. Zero chance of fitting 6 people in this property, let alone even 4. We had 3 and it was manageable. Electrical issues with wires taped to floor in kitchen, plumbing issues with shower backup, closets off rails. Thermostat broken upstairs. Very small tv’s. Small hot tub. Emailed and chatted and called Vacasa for support more than 3 times with zero response until the last day when I received a text. Overall, great location but this property is very small and needs a lot of work.

Great location, but so outdated needs a revamp

Overall decent, but would not stay again. Great location, easy to ski into and bus stop right outside to get to slopes and easy walk to Main Street. It was extremely outdated and felt dirty. Bathrooms not super clean, the carpets needed a refresh and need new beds. Also the kitchen appliances half the wall didn’t work so many outlets didn’t work, but you could use the appliances on the other side. the thermostat upstairs didn’t work well. We were not in the place a whole lot but the porch was nice and hot tub was a plus.

Convenient location!!

We loved our stay at Twin Elks.. Very cozy and extremely convenient location. Peak 9 right up our street and Peak 8 just around the corner. Main Street just a minute away. Couldn't ask for a better location. Definitely will stay there again!!

The place itself is not the high end accommodation in terms of luxury. However the convenience of a closed garage (specially with kids and snow) and the within walking distance from main street, make this a great spot!

Convenient location.

The location is great.(close to Main St, gondola and the grocery store) The condo is nice.( Small but ok for our family of 4) The garage, bedrooms and bathrooms are on ground level, the kitchen and living room are on the 2 level. Cleanliness, maintenance and management are lacking.

Great location!

We enjoyed our time at this condo. Lots of space and great for a family. Only con was road noise and no air conditioning. We went during July so that was tough! We loved being able to walk down to main street. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this condo.

Lovely Surprise

Last minute spring ski trip a success! I didn't think I'd find anything in my budget near Breckenridge-but I found this gem. Perfect location, 2 bedrooms, comfortable sofa bed to sleep my crew of 6. Fireplace a hit. Nestled in the trees. Only one night we did not try the hot tub. Easy access. Best of all, and so unusual-2 parking spaces!!

Location couldn't have been better! Amazing to have two parking spaces in Breckenridge. Fireplace made it warm and inviting. Underfloor heating a nice surprise. Nestled in the trees. Nice condo complex. Slept our 6 comfortably. Living area upstairs with sofa bed. Two bedrooms on ground floor off the garage. Baby gate and pack & play helpful for our toddler.
