Robin - Camper at Sunset Bay

Bedroom has a queen bed. Sofa bed in living room.

Bathroom has toilet, sink, small tub and shower.

Running hot and cold water, electricity, heat and a/c.

Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and has a fridge, stovetop and oven.

There is also a BBQ, propane, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, hot dog sticks and firewood.

No smoking inside the camper.

Friendly, quiet dogs are welcome!

Guests will be provided with bed linens and bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.

We have 7km of walking trails on site.

Kayaks, paddle board, canoe and peddle boat available for rent.

Pontoon tours of the lake or to the deeper water for swimming, available for an additional fee. Pontoon comes with an operator, guests are not permitted to take out alone.

Wood fired sauna available for an additional fee. Towels provided. Please bring your own swimwear and robe (if you want to use one).

Our lake is shallow for a long way out, so it’s not the best for swimming. And our lake doesn’t have any fish, but there are many lakes within a 20 minute drive that are good fishing. Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Guided fishing by boat is also available. If you’re interested please inquire prior to arrival.

There is no wifi or TV but we do have plenty of sights and sounds of nature! And we do get cell service!

Great Camper for a Short Getaway

We stayed here for a weekend trip to attend a friends wedding in Clear Lake. It was a great price and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The hosts were friendly and helpful with any of our questions. Thanks for the great place to stay!

Great Spot!

We loved our stay! Andrea accommodated us very well and allowed us to see the location of the trailer on our way to Clear Lake, as we would be checking in quite late. She had everything set up perfectly and we were welcomed to our site with the lights on. Andrea sent us very detailed directions at the time of booking, as our navigation map didn’t show the exact location and indicated that we would have to park on the grid and walk the rest of the way (which is not the case).Very comfortable and quiet location. Loved that it was less than a 15 minute drive to Riding Mountain National Park and very affordable! We will definitely consider staying there again next time!

Peace and quiet

It was great! Peace and quiet to relax and read a book. The camper was set and ready, everything worked, I had no problems. Close enough to Onanole or Clear Lake if you wanted activities. The owners were close by if you needed anything.

A new camping experience

Everything was just as advertised, except the water had a foul smell. We hesitated to shower or use it to wash up.

Thank you for your review! As mentioned, that sometimes happens with the water lines and can’t be prevented or predicted, but is still perfectly safe. The lines have since been shocked and there is no longer a smell.

Wonderful time

Andrea was easy to talk to. Very nice place for everyone who wants to enjoy the weekend. We have a big group so We rented 4 campers and a cabin. Everyone was happy. Even the kids had fun. Thank you 😊 so much for taking us.

Clearlake Trip

Very nice location! We'll maintained, definitely nice place for couples, singles and families!! Lots of green space.. Nice smaller lake for canoeing, and paddle boarding!! Our accommodations were perfect for the price and the trailer was older but the bed was comfy!! It was fine for our needs!! Will definitely return! Jeannette

Perfect getaway

Andrea greeted me in the rain when I arrived. She showed me the trailer and had a heater set up. It was a very cold May long weekend with snow. Overnight there was some hose freezing. Kelly came out to fix it first thing in the morning and brought a second heater. The property is beautiful even though I didn't get chance to explore. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. I will go back again. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks Andrea and Kelly :)

Our stay was fabulous, the only thing wrong was that it was too short!

We will stay longer next time! The owners are great, very helpful, responsive and treat you like family. Kelly checked in to make sure everything was great, he was always a txt away if anything was needed and spoiled my 10 yr old daughter, so much she is already planning our next trip! Until next time 🌞

Private Paradise

Hosts were fabulous! Answered questions timely, eager to provide anything requested (we needed a hose to wash our dog). Beautiful sunset, peaceful and serene. The lake on-site wasn’t really dog swim friendly, likely due to the drought, but host quickly shared a perfect location for our dog to swim a short drive away and was perfect! Everything was in working order and accurate to the description. Thank you for a fabulous getaway!

Unfortunate mechanical problems

The host was available and friendly however there were multiple issues with both the fridge and and air-conditioning. As we were there on the hottest 2 days of the month, both were crucial. If the fridge and AC had been working, this would have been quite nice.

Quiet and Relaxing

We wanted to check out Clear Lake this summer, but we found the rental properties in Clear lake, and close by were very expensive, and most did not allow dogs. Myself, my wife, our 13 daughter, her friend, and our small dog found this spot. Wow! It’s perfect, it’s a private area on a quite lake, the host’s live on the property. They were Awesome! I had great communication with Andrea, and Kelly was very friendly he kept our site filled with firewood which was a nice treat, also the location is perfect. You have a store, a couple shops, and restaurants in Ononaloe, but a few short min drive your in Riding Mountain, Clear lake etc. The camper is older, but it does the trick, it’s loaded with everything you would need. Even tinfoil, and toilet paper :) We had such a magical visit, it’s absolutely beautiful here. If you’re planning some magic or your own, we would recommend this rental property, and we will definitely be returning next year.
