Fantastic

The house is very spacious even for a big group like ours with nine guests. The property feels very private and the dock is a blast with diving board and high dive. Our boys always have great time here and we cant wait to visit again.

Amazing Time

This is our fifth year at Ellen's Escape, and I can't say how happy we are every time we stay here. The place is always spotless, fully stocked with amenities, every detail thought of. If anything comes up mid-week, Kelly is always very attentive to help out. She really goes above and beyond to make our stay each year perfect. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Hi.

A great weekend at the Lake.

Our group enjoyed a wonderful 5 days over Labor Day weekend. The water was excellent for swimming and the area was quiet. We definitely hope to be able to return next year.

Great location! Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ellen's Escape. We loved being in a no-wake zone, cove......it was quiet, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful. Shooters restaurant is within walking distance. House was well stocked and well-maintained. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

Fabulous week

This is our 3rd year at this location. It is perfect for our large family annual vacation. The house is fully stocked, the location is great and the beach and dock area is perfect! We plan to return next summer.

2023 Family trip to Lake Coeur d'Alene

Great house with lots of room for a large group. The yard, beach, and dock are great. The kitchen is setup well with upgraded appliances.

Very thoughtful hosts!

This place was the best rental I’ve stayed in to date. Very well stocked and organized kitchen, bathrooms and thoughtful additions to make our stay even cozier… blankets, chargers for our phone etc . Thank you for letting us stay in your home and taking such good care of us !

Excellent cabin for large family

Every year our extended family rents a cabin on Lake CDA and this one has topped all of the previous spots. The cabin slept everyone comfortably and the location is the absolute best. The home had everything we needed for cooking, water fun, and even indoor games for the day we got rained on. Kelly was a great host!

Excellent Family Home and Location!

Our family had an amazing time. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for a family with children. The house was well stocked and furnished. The boat dock was perfect for our boat and Jet skis. Kelly was super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Wonderful stay on the lake

We completely enjoyed our stay at Ellen’s Escape. The house has beautiful views and everything you need to be comfortable. The beds were great. Communication with the owner was so easy. And, the slippers in the welcome basket were a wonderful touch. Thank you so much.

Lake getaway

This house is the perfect Lake CDA house! The house has lots of room for a large group and is in the perfect location. The kitchen is well stocked, and the owner has added all the special touches. The beach area has sand and shallow water for young kids. There are plenty of water toys renters can use as well. This is our 2nd year, and we are booking for next year, too!

Fantastic family gathering place!

Our family had such an enjoyable stay at Ellen's Escape! There was so much for all of us to do and see. We had fun with the water toys and jumping off the dock. The birds and deer were exciting for the kiddos as well as our photographers. That beautiful night sky view from the dock and the deck was incredible! We were so comfortable with all the spaces to reconnect with each other. Kelly and Joe were quick to respond when we wanted to extend our stay. 10 out of 10!

The Ideal Lake Getaway

Our group couldn't have been more pleased by the location, atmosphere and amenities of Ellen's Escape. Everything worked out perfectly for our group. There were a lot of boats on the lake over the weekend (as to be expected), so it's a good thing we had two days (Thursday and Friday), in addition to the weekend stay. The The neighbors were quiet, so there was no problem from noise. Everyone in our group had a great day, and we look forward to being able to visit again, hopefully, next summer.

Home and location on the water is perfect

The layout of the home and the location on the water is fantastic. The layout allows for many people, but yet still comfortable. The home takes advantage of the view which is breathtaking upon entering. The location on the lake is quiet, with the no wake zone, yet close enough to take the boat out for water sports with little effort. Our children enjoyed the diving board and the high jump platform, and my husband appreciated the ability to open water swim in the no wake zone. Downtown CdA is a 20 minute drive. Kelly is easy to work with and the whole transaction was smooth. Thanks!

Wonderful lake escape for a large group.

We had a wonderful stay at Ellen’s Escape for our annual family getaway! The house was spacious, clean, and very well organized, with plenty of room for everyone to gather, dine, and relax. The property was well maintained and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, making meal preparation easy, and we loved the assortment of games and activities available for rainy days. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The hosts were friendly and communicated clearly throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We highly recommend Ellen’s Escape and would happily stay there again!

Great family gathering destination

This was a great property to gather together with family and friends and enjoy the lake. We had a group ranging in age from 20 to 85 and all were able to enjoy the property. The entire stay from check in to check out went smooth. The property was clean and comfortable with a great dock and swimming area. There was plenty of parking, including covered parking for 2 vehicles.
