Tucked away in the secluded community of Hidden Dunes, this comfortable condo offers a spectacular Gulf-front view from a private 7th-floor balcony. The property features gorgeous tile throughout and wireless high-speed internet. The living room features a 40" flat panel TV, DVD player, CD stereo system, and a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom which has a plush king bed and a TV also has direct access to the balcony offering breathtaking views of the Gulf. The master bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and double sinks. The guest room has two double beds, a TV and DVD player, as well as a private bathroom. The kitchen features upgraded stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. The elegant dining area includes a glass tabletop that seats six comfortably with additional seating at the breakfast bar. This condo also offers a separate washer/dryer area for your convenience.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great view for great price

The condo was clean, comfy bed and plenty of pillows. The views were great from the balcony! The large window in the master lets you wake up to the view of the gulf. The pool was well maintained and the staff was visible cleaning the common areas every morning.

Clean. Needs technology updates

Overall good. Toaster is old, but works kind of. Need technology updates in all rooms( phone charging ports, etc). Towels very basic, but good quantity. Needs more toilet paper available. Low water pressure in shower. Super clean!

Had a Great Stay!

The view was amazing. Parking and access to the pool were very convenient. Very easy access to the beach. We had a few problems with the entry codes but they were remedied quickly. We have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Beautiful beach Escape

Located right on the beach with gorgeous water and views. My three requirements are cleanliness, a strong air conditioner and comfy beds and this was a win! We had a few issues trying to communicate with the rental company about some issues but overall didn't affect our stay. We choose Hidden Dunes every year for it's convenience and it's quiet beach.

Great spot to be with friends. A more thorough cleaning would be great (floors, top of refrig). Condo could use more silverware, and upgrade on dryer.

Great Views, friendly staff, gated condo

We absolutely loved our stay here! Great views out of the living area and Master Bed room. We could sleep with the sliding door cracked open and hear the waves crashing every night. Very clean, loved that there is a washer dryer in the unit. I do have a few items that could have made our stay just that much better. One being the master bed is VERY firm, great if you like that but we both like a little softer mattress. Also, I wish the blinds were upgraded. Either to the other style or black out curtains at least in the master. It was very bright every morning which made it hard to sleep in if that’s what you like to do on your vacation. Lastly, a few silly small requests; there were no coffee filters or single packets of coffee. We have stayed in a few other condos in the area and love that they at least have a cup or two so you don’t have to get some for your first morning. Also, I thought I read on a previous post there were a few beach chairs or an umbrella we could take down, but that is not the case. We did use beach service a few times while we were there but we do like having our own to setup if it’s available. Honestly, overall we would stay here again! We felt very safe and all workers we came in contact with were very nice. Had to get some new codes right at check in for the door and boardwalk but they provided them very quickly and worked the rest of our stay!

Beautiful location

The location and view were amazing. We were given the wrong code for the condo, the boardwalk gate, and the gym. We had to call vacasa to get the correct code to get into the condo. We did not have any blankets for the sofa sleeper. The light covering in the bedroom did not fit the fixture and had to be held in place (hoping it would not fall and break) to adjust the ceiling fan. The space was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms had plenty of room. The clothes dryer did not work very well and took multiple times to dry towels.

Beautiful place to stay

From the moment we walked in we were captivated by the breath taking view. The Condo had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The beds were nice and comfy. The beach is just steps away. Gorgeous community with really nice staff we enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back!!

Great location, great view

Views from master bedroom and balcony were great! We loved that it was less than a 5 minute trip down to the beach, especially because we had our 6 month old!

Disappointed

We checked in on Saturday. Lock combination did not work to condo at 4 PM checking. We had to get an on site security guard to let us in. Condo was not clean to my standards. There was a pop tart wrapper on floor from previous guests, food crumbs on the glass top tables, and area rug didn't appear to have been vacuumed. We tried to vacuum it ourselves to discover the vacuum cleaner in condo didn't pick up much. We were given the wrong security codes to fitness facility and beach area. It took us a day and a half to get the correct codes. Every time we called Vacasa we were put on hold for 20 plus minutes. Operators generally didn't call us back. Eventually, I found a number to Vacasa agent in Panama City who gave me the names and numbers of contacts in Destin. We enjoyed our stay but I will never use Vacasa again or a VRBO that takes me to Vacasa.

Lots of issues.

Great location and view. Unit needed lots of work. Dryer did not work. Refrigerator door hard to keep closed. Master bath faucet needed caulking. MAster bed a disaster. Rust in lots of places. Couches need replacing. No large frying pans. No clock in Bedrooms. We mended the master vertical blinds ourselves. Despite te all the issues we had a good stay.

Beautiful View, Nice Space

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and the condo unit has beautiful views of the gulf. The overall property was nice and the location was great. Right on the beach! The unit had everything I needed and the beach set up was great. The grounds were well kept. I am sharing my full review. Based on the listing photos I did expect the unit to be in more pristine condition. For an update from previous reviews: The outdoor table was replaced, however the chairs do not match the table. It's the attention to details that matter and such a small cost to do. Also, there were new pots and pans in the unit. If you're looking for a non stick pan, I suggest bringing your own. Vacasa did not provide the correct codes to the fitness room after I inquired. The code they provided did not work. I had to track someone down on the property who gave me the correct code. It would be a better guest experience to receive all access codes on the day of check-in. The kitchen is updated as well as the bathrooms. The washer and dryer are dated and worn by appearance, but work. The door to the washer /dryer also needs updating and does not close correctly. The bed in the master was comfortable and the room was spacious and bright. The closet doors kept coming off track and direly need to be replaced. One of the bedroom window blind slats (floor to ceiling) was missing and was in the closet. It either needs to be replaced or fixed. The screen door from the bedroom to the balcony is stuck - broken and was unable to use. Cleanliness: Needs Improvement. I went to sit down on the couch to find a large stain and ring on the seat of one of the cushions. I flipped it over only to find that the fabric was torn on the other side. Not a positive experience and both the cleaning staff and Vacasa fell short. In addition, the red chair had dark dirt on both chair arms. The upholstery overall needs to be cleaned before renting to another guest. The small cooking appliances located above the washer and dryer were all covered with dust! The cleaning staff is not thorough and has not cleaned that area for a while. The remainder of the unit was clean. Would I return or recommend this condo? If the cleaning items, repairs (updates) and furniture upholstery are addressed I would. If I was the condo owner I would follow up with Vacasa to ensure they are doing a better job with the upkeep of the property. It's a nice unit and those fixes will go a long way for future rentals.

Nice but could be better

The location was perfect, the grounds were beautiful and there was much to do. The condo was spacious and had most things you need while on vacation. The floor plan for the condo was nice. The beach was perfect and well kept. The water was beautiful and we observed dolphin each day from our balcony. The pool was very nice and the built in hot tub by the pool was nice. While there are many pros to this condo, there are some cons as well. When we arrived, the code to get into our condo didn’t work and it took about 15 mins to get the correct code for entry. The codes for the gates to the beach and the door to the gym did not work. We never received the correct codes from Vacasa. Other guests at the condo gave us their codes. This was frustrating to be honest. It was blamed on the HOA for Hidden Dunes and even if they provided incorrect codes, something more should have been done but it appears to be managed from a company out of the area. The rug in the condo living room hasn’t been vacuumed in months if I had to guess.. Why didn’t I contact Vacasa to let them know? I didn’t want to let someone in while we are on vacation so they could clean, when they should have done this prior to arrival. Check in isn’t until 4 pm… this should have been taken care of and I didn’t want to be inconvenienced after the door codes debacle we were already experiencing. The bed in the master bedroom was the worst bed that we have slept on in years… both sides dipped down.. The “updated” balcony furniture was okay. It was comfortable if you are sitting out side to eat at the table but the chairs do not adjust and do not lounge at all. . I will probably return to Hidden Dunes, just not this unit.
