Lancaster Farm View Retreat: Fire Pit, Porch & Views

Relax and unwind at Magnolia Cottage, a peaceful 5-bedroom retreat overlooking more than 70 acres of preserved Lancaster County farmland. Surrounded by rolling fields and beautiful countryside views, the cottage offers the perfect setting for family vacations, reunions, and restorative getaways.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the wraparound porch as the sun rises over the fields, spend the afternoon exploring Lancaster County, and gather around the fire pit in the evening for s'mores and conversation under the stars.

Magnolia Cottage combines the charm of country living with modern comforts. The home features hardwood floors, large windows filled with natural light, comfortable beds, a gas fireplace, Smart TV, Amish-made dining room table, and a fully stocked kitchen with two ovens, a gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, cookware, and dining essentials.

The spacious home comfortably accommodates families and groups with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The primary suite includes a king bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in rain shower. Three additional bedrooms feature twin beds that can be configured as king beds, offering flexibility for families and groups.

Outside, guests can enjoy panoramic farm views, a patio for grilling, a fire pit, a basketball hoop, and a large basement with a ping pong table. Daniel's Den Playground, walking trails, and sports fields are within walking distance. The surrounding area draws people from all over the county for long bike rides.

Magnolia Cottage is conveniently located near Downtown Lancaster, Amish Country, and Hersheypark, making it an ideal home base for exploring the region while enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.

This is a gorgeous property in the middle of Lancaster County farmland. Secluded but yet close to grocery/convenience stores. Our family enjoyed the large table, open concept first floor, and outdoor space!

This was an amazing visit. The house was beautiful and the kids love the basement with the ping pong table. The hosts were easy to contact and made sure everything was going well. Even though we didn’t do any cooking on site it looked like everything was thought of. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet area and I slept well.

The house was beautiful! We had a fantastic visit and it met all our needs. Having the garage to park the cars in and the bonus basement space for the kids to hang out in was perfect. We visited in December and it was had a gorgeous view of the farm. I can’t even imagine how amazing it is in warmer weather. We made some fantastic meals in the lovely kitchen and were able to all sit together around the spacious dining table. It was very clean and the beds comfy. It was such a great choice for our trip to the area.

Wonderful Stay

It was so nice to stay at this property. Plenty of room for our 7 member family. Loved the layout of the house. We even had a campfire one night. Nice and private too. Didn’t have to worry about neighbors right next door. Highly recommend staying at this vacation rental!
Loved the back patio with the fire ring. Was great sitting around at night. Also played games in the back yard.

Great Country Retreat

This was a wonderful place for our family to stay while visiting my mom in Elizabethtown. We enjoyed the peace and quiet - and the farms surrounding the property. The house was cozy / well appointed / met our needs perfectly!

I live most of the year in NYC and share the hosting with my parents, Richard and Audrey who live on a nearby farm. Our goal is to provide a peaceful retreat in the country.
