Beautiful 3BR 3BA Cabin on Pickerel Lake

This is a newly updated and modernized 3BR 3BA cabin settled right on a private bay on Pickerel Lake in Saint Germain, WI. All furniture, appliances, and interior design is all brand new and not a single feature was overlooked in the renovation of this home. Located just a couple miles from downtown Saint Germain. This cabin is just 200 yards from hiking, ATV/UTV, and snowmobile trails.

Less than 2 miles away are public boat ramps for Pickerel Lake. Rainbow Flowage with public boat ramp is only 500 yards away, too! The cabin has new patio furniture with fire pit and propane grill. Beautiful views in a quiet bay with little recreational boaters. There is a canoe for use, free of charge, to explore the Lake as well!

This property is extraordinarily ideal for a family vacation or simply a weekend getaway for smaller couples. This cabin will exceptionally accommodate parties of up to 6.

Truly a wonderful experience at the Pickerel Lake Cabin. Perfectly located between Green River and Minocqua, while still relatively private location. The cabin was perfect size for a medium to large group as well as if a couple wishes for a private getaway. Highly recommend.

The home is very well equipped, spacious and clean. Great for larger families or groups. It is located to a fairly busy road like others have pointed out, but it didn’t take away from our experience. Very easy checkout process compared to some properties I’ve rented. I’d recommend it for larger families who like all the modern conveniences while still feeling like you’re at the lake.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home and the owners were great to work with! Everything that we needed was provided. Our kids had a great time whether swimming in the lake or catching fish off the pier(which they caught lots!). We had a great time. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were very flexible. Would most defiantly stay at this property again!

The cabin was fine. We couldn't get the TV to work and had to call Martin. After a few discussions we got it to work. One suggestion is to update the bath towels.

Everything about the house was very good except the location. It was so close to the road(Hwy. J) that the car, truck, and motorcycle noise was vey loud throughout the day much of the time we were there.That is really the only complaint we had. Also, be prepared for lots of stairs when you arrive.

6 of us enjoyed our stay on an annual 4th of July getaway. The house worked well for 3 couples & had all we needed. As others have mentioned, the road noise is significant though there's little traffic overnight. And as we explored the lake in our boat & kayaks the road noise faded - and the lake & natural surroundings are just beautiful - eagles, loons, muskrat, etc. Thank you!

Dream vacation.

Seamless booking and efficient communication. The house was exceptionally clean, welcoming and cozy. Plus the beds are extremely comfortable. Also having all the amenities that this house has was perfect for a relaxing vacation. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The locations ideal because it’s nice and quiet but a close drive to the towns. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again.

Beautiful lake house in a fantastic location. Not that the property isn’t fine for a family or maybe even a couple get-a-away but it’s almost perfect for the sportsman or woman. Ample fishing opportunities abound and given the gun shots this weekend, good duck hunting too. Great trals just across the street for morning and evening strolls on the beach or in the woods and what looked like trails for off-road mountain biking. Three full bathrooms(one on each floor is amazing. Open concept main floor is just the right size for six with a table large enough for meals or cards on a rainy day. Huge TV for the game with comfortable seating. What drew me to this rental was the decor was north woodsy but modern. Plenty of what you would expect without being knotty-pine from top to bottom and filled with flea market finds. This place feels like the perfect lake house.Thank you to the owners and staff for a great experience!

We had everything we needed at this well stocked and well equipped home, which worked well for our ATV'ing trip. The only drawback was the small parking area for two pickups with trailers. We had to back in off a busy county road, but we managed.

*Hands-down, the best cabin we’ve rented in the past 11 years!*

We’ve been coming up north for over a decade, and this cabin on Picklel Lake has quickly become our favorite. The lake is perfect for our family, with plenty of panfish for the kids to catch right off the dock. The dock’s location was ideal, protected from waves and perfect for our rented pontoon boat. The cabin itself was immaculate and well-maintained, comfortably fitting our family of four plus two grandparents. We did notice a bit of road noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back!

Nice Family Retreat

My wife and I shared this lake home for a fall retreat with our son, daughter-in-law and nine year old grandson. This tow story home overlooked a bay on Pickeral Lake. The views of the fall colors from the bedroom windows and the 3 Season room were extraordinary. The home was in excellent condition a fit our needs perfectly. The only less than ideal feature was how close it is to a county trunk highway with the driveway entrance located on the highway curve. Obviously, this is not a controllable situation but we adapted to it easily. It was very comfortable, the bedding was very nice and was very nice overall.

Great property

We just stayed 5 nights at this property and had such a great experience. Cabin has a great layout - we went with another family. Lots of evenings enjoyed on the 3 seasons porch. It was very clean and well stocked with pillows, bedding, dishes and everything we needed. Location is great. It is close to the road, but we were expecting that and it honestly didn’t bother us at all. We loved how close to St Germain it is. Only takes 5 minutes to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Cathy’s ice cream was a huge hit with our kids. The lake is wonderful. Large, but quiet and has a great sandbar. Highly recommend this property. Family who owns it is wonderful and great with communication.

Wonderful lake retreat

We decided to squeeze in a few days of R&R during the week of Labor Day. Martin was very helpful in answering our questions prior to our stay as we wanted to make sure things would be clean and safe due to COVID. Outside of some grease on the stove top, everything was very clean. We let Martin know about the grease and he took immediate action to make it right. He was always available when needed and even reached out to us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house was very homey & comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room and sunroom. The dock was very peaceful, but also a good spot to cast a line or enjoy a cocktail. Really appreciate Martin's attention to helping make our stay wonderful.
