Perfect Romantic Getaway for that Special Honeymoon, Anniversary, or just a Special time alone.

Proud Owner wants to share the unique experience of a 1200 sq/ft Log Cabin nested in the Aspen trees of Colorado. 2- bedrooms and 1.5 bath, (with heated bidet). Home provides cozy comfort for a secluded romantic getaway. Perfect for the discriminating couple, or couples, looking to get away from it all. The covered outside deck provides plenty of room for relaxation, endless views, stargazing outdoor BBQ and dining,. Treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the comfortable 2-person Hot Tub. There is plenty of room to park your vehicle. If you are traveling with an RV there is space to park your RV that includes a 50 amp service, but no water or sewer is provided. The cabin has WiFi service through Starlink that includes Netflix and Amazon.

There are numerous places to visit and explore within an hours drive. Cripple Creek for gambling and dining is 20 miles away. Eleven Mile Canyon offers stunning scenery and offers Gold Metal fly fishing on the South Platte River is less than 30 minutes drive from the cabin. Other nearby attractions include Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort in Buena Vista, Co which also offers River rafting along the Arkansas River. The Dinosaur Museum in beautiful downtown Woodland Park is also a very interesting place to visit. Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods is a must-see when visiting Manitou Springs located between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.

The cabin is located 12 miles back on a County maintained dirt road that can be wash board and dusty at times, but is definitely worth the drive.

Please keep in mind, the cabin is located at 9200 ft elevation so this can have an effect on people who may have respiratory difficulties or are sensitive to higher elevations. Drink lots of water.

So come prepared to snuggle in and experience a true Colorado Mountain Cabin!

Peaceful and relaxing

This cabin was the best stocked VRBO rental I have ever stayed in. It had not only the necessities but also all the extras you usually have to buy after flying in for a vacation. The location was very peaceful and central to the places we wanted to visit in Colorado. We spent a very relaxing 10 days and can highly recommend this home and area of Colorado.

Everything we wanted and more!

This home is perfectly appointed from the well stocked kitchen to the porch seating and dining area to the tiniest little touches! The property owners have built a home with love that radiates from every space. We were looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors and get away from everything, and this fit the bill perfectly! The drive in is mentioned in a lot of posts, so I feel it needs to be mentioned…it’s a gravel road. We live on one so it wasn’t an issue for us. If you’re expecting beautifully paved roads, this isn’t the place for you. However, it’s no different than EVERY county road in Colorado. Well worth the trip! There’s an amazing restaurant/bakery/brewery in town that we visited twice called the Iron Tree. We spent the rest of our time hiking/exploring the national parks that surround this property, and the homeowner was super helpful and responsive with suggestions on where to go. Will definitely be back!

Elopement and Honeymoon

This was wonderful and Steve was so helpful and responsive! From recommending a guide shop for fly fishing to helping us locate a shop to patch a tire. The cabin was wonderful and well stocked and their thoughtfulness to help us celebrate our elopement and honeymoon was such a sweet surprise! Highly recommended!

Quiet, cozy mountain getaway

The cabin is nestled among the beautiful aspen trees and has the best stocked kitchen of any rental property I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks while relaxing on the porch. The accommodations are very comfortable and welcoming.

Cozy Mountain Cabin

We stayed at this lovely cabin for a week in mid August and it was a great time to be in the mountains. Steve and Joanne have taken great care to create a truly comfortable experience. We especially loved hanging out on the deck watching all the birds and enjoying the cool mountain breezes. There is absolutely everything you need in this cabin. Be willing to navigate washboard, dirt roads to get there but it's worth it! Highly recommend!

Serene and Isolated Cabin in the Woods

This cabin is the ideal place to disconnect and unwind. No ambient white noise of civilization, just the song of birds and the wind in the aspen. WiFi is functional and all the electronic comforts are provided, if you are so inclined. To call the kitchen "well stocked" is an understatement. It was luxuriously well appointed. The outdoor grills were spectacular. We had a blast creating on the blackstone flat top. Sleeping accomodations were top-notch, as well. Comfy, cozy, and quiet. The cabin is eclectically decorated with a discerning eye for detail. The collections on display were entriguing. While the furnishings were gorgeous, I must confess, we spent most of our tleisure ime on the decks, not inside. I would classify this space as adult-friendly. Young children may grow restless, finding it a bit too isolated and self-contained. But, for two adults looking to unplug and unwind, it was ideal. My companion and I concur that this was probably the Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was a pleasure and is now a very fond memory. I hope to return someday.

It was a dream!

We had high expectations but this far exceeded them! Steve and Joanne thought of everything. This cabin is absolutely perfect. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book to stay long enough! We will be back!

5 year anniversary trip

We got married at 11 Mile Canyon 5 years ago and wanted to visit the area for our anniversary. This cabin was perfect and had everything and more than we needed. We had a small issue with Netflix and Steve came right over and fixed the problem. The kitchen is amazing! The shower is awesome! We loved watching the birds and chipmunks on the deck. The hot tub was a bonus! There is nothing to complain about the cabin at all. The only small complaint is the road to get to the cabin is pretty bad but doable. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

R&R get away!

This cabin was everything we had hoped for. From the kitchen that had everything we needed to the pristine shower/bathroom. But the best thing was the porch. Peaceful and beautiful doesn’t even graze the surface. Not to mention the friendly birds that pretty much make you at home. We will definitely be going back but for a longer stay. If you’re able to visit don’t pass on the opportunity.

BEST Anniversary Stay!

What an incredible place this is. We felt very special and "at home". There are so many little touches that mean so much. The heated seat bidet was fantastic. Two person shower is a bonus. What a wonderful selection of music. Old rock and country are the best! Great movie selection also (streaming is limited), but electronics need not be the focus here. There are also board games, cards, and a few puzzles. The deck was incredible. Sitting out there absorbing the sun, watching the birds, sitting in the hot tub, or just enjoying the quiet was fantastic. And what a "chefy" kitchen. It is a pleasure to cook here. The BEST Anniversary Getaway!

Perfect mountain retreat

The cabin was perfect! It was exactly as listed, but better! It had all you could need while there, Steve and Joanne have thought of everything. The full kitchen with outside grill and blackstone made cooking our own meals easy. The aspens were starting to change while we were there and were absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was phenomenal and sitting out on the deck was very peaceful. We enjoyed our time so much we didn't spend much time out exploring Colorado, we just wanted to stay in the cabin and enjoy the little slice of mountain heaven that it was. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

luxury Cabin in the Colorado Country Side

The interior decor of the cabin reminded us of the Dutton home on the series Yellowstone. The hosts thought of everything from a lovely bottle of wine, fresh flowers, gourmet kitchen, beautiful master bedroom and luxury bathroom, The two covered decks provided a great place to relax, grill steaks and cook breakfast on the griddle. The cabin was a great place to unwind and and enjoy being pampered in this luxury accommodation.

Amazing Cabin

We just finished our 4 night stay at Saddle Mountain. We enjoyed it so much. Steve and Joanne are amazing and we thank them for sharing their beautiful home with us. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Ya could not ask for more. I understand why guest return for visits after their first. If your looking for an amazing host with a beautiful cabin that will give you all the peace and quiet ya could ask for. Then Sadddle Mountain is for you. If we ever make it back to the area we will definitely consider staying here again. Thanks again Steve and Joanne
