Bayfront house with dock and pool. Enjoy spectacular views of St Joe Bay.
Pull your boat or kayak up to this wonderful house directly on the bay. The sunrise from the 2 screened in porches are breath taking. After a hot day on the beach, cool off in the sparkling pool. This 2 bedroom house features a master bedroom with king bed, bunk room that sleeps 4 and the kitchen opens to the well-appointed family room. Smart TV's throughout. Newly remodeled kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Property is .5 miles from St Joe State Park.
The house was perfect and the host was always available to answer any questions we had. Will definitely come and stay here again! The beds were very comfortable and kids loved using the kayaks.
Our 2nd time staying at this house and we absolutely love it - mostly the dock is the game changer for us. Great sunrises and clear skies for stargazing at night. Canât wait to book it again!
The house is sited amongst the native landscape rather than on top of it. Old style cracker pad feels like home. The pool is great and the sunrises on the dock speck-Tacular!
Our family of 4 and puppies enjoyed this visit, pool very clean, we noticed upgraded items from last visit, appreciate it the kayaks, and fishing at the dock, house close to the ocean, enjoyed our relaxing stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, a plus we love cooking cooking.
Excellent fishing trip that turned into an excellent family vacation.
Been making the trip to Cape San Blas for a Spring fishing trip for nearly 40 years. Most of those years were with my father and this year I was excited to bring my own son for his first real CSB fishing trip. Traditionally we come down the 1st of May but the house I had originally booked was sold. It worked out as we decided to push back our trip until the end of May so my wife and daughter could also join us, turning it into a family trip. That's when we discovered this excellent place. Boon, the owner, was very polite and quick to respond to all messages. The house is exactly as described with incredible views of the bay, exceptionally well maintained private dock, and easy ample parking. It was perfect for our family of four and would have been for a larger family as well. With three levels including the ground level screened porch there was tons of room and the kids enjoyed being able to hop in the pool whenever the mood struck them. The house gives an older, traditional beach house feel from prior CSB time periods but is very updated and maintained and all furnishings, appliances, and beds were very modern/new/comfortable and in excellent shape. The location is perfect near the State Park entrance allowing for very easy beach side access. We loved this place and it will be our 1st choice from now on. And the fishing trip? The first day out my son caught a flounder and two casts later a 22" Speckled Trout. His excitement in that moment alone made the trip worth it!
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed all the amenities in this beautiful home. If you want a great location and a secluded setting this is definitely the house for you. The beach is a short distance and my husband enjoyed the fishing pier. He actually caught fish for our dinner one night.
We returned to Boonâs place for our second stay and love it as much as we did the first time! The home is beautifully perched at the end of a very quiet road (now paved most of the way) and great care has been taken to leave nature in tact as much as possible. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the common area is simple and boasts stunning view of the bay (screened decks on all levels). I regularly kayaked to the sandbars (1 SUP and 2 kayaks are yours to use), we easily launched our boat from the state park (though water was too shallow for us to use the houseâs dock). Our teen enjoyed the pool on the warmer days. We enjoyed all kinds of wildlife, putting our Merlin and iNaturalist apps to regular use.If you long to stay in a tall, fancy piece of new construction with lots of space, check out newer properties along the ocean side. If you prefer old Florida charm, wildlife, space to breathe, and blissful quiet, give speck-tacular a try. Boon is also a very communicative and helpful host. For planning purposes, note that youâll need pre-ground coffee or pods. Also bring TP, paper towel, dishwasher soap, a couple trash bags, laundry detergent, etc if youâll be there more than a few days. A small starter supply was waiting for us.
Enjoyed the getaway away from the crowd. The view from the 3rd floor living area and the dock were really nice. Easy access to a biking/walking trail and one restaurant within walking distance.
This was a great getaway. Wonderful place and very responsive host. The area is quiet, but there are plenty of things to do in the area. That is, if you can pull yourself away from the pool or fishing!
We both had a beautiful stay, in a beautiful home on the bay. Owner was phenomenal with everything. I was skeptical about staying in a pet friendly place, since I have none, but never would've known any dog was ever in there, no hair, no smell, very clean. Bed was out of this world comfy. Enjoyed the private dock alot. Thanks for everything.
Location, location, location - if you want to experience the best of the Florida Panhandle then this just might be your place. Most visitors to the general area have no idea what a natural paradise the Cape is and this property is perfect for exploring its beauty. Three screened-in areas with extremely close, beautiful views of the bay and a private dock are just a few of the extra touches provided with the house and property.
A story book tree house cottage on the bay! The home is warm and cozy and the location is secluded and gorgeous. A magical place to spend some time away.
We had a great weekend! Enjoyed relaxing on the porch with such an amazing view. The home was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. We went to the beach a few days and enjoyed paddle boarding off the dock. We would love to stay again the next time we are looking for a quiet getaway.
We had a great week at specktakular! You get the best of both worlds, bayside with close beach access. Very private but still centrally located. Boon was easily accessible during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here!
While we were cut short by the weather, the location and amenities more than made up for it! The host is wonderful and checked in plus worked with us in a weather emergency. We canât thank the host enough for the care and courtesy. Well worth it and an awesome place to vacation. Great fishing in the bay!
We have been staying on the Cape since 1979 and this place is perfect for us. We prefer a bay front location for our boat and the other homes we have rented have 3, 4 bedrooms, a waste and unnecessary expense with only the 2 of us. Also the wooded lot gave us a sense of privacy on the now crowded Cape.
We had a fantastic stay! The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
