PROCHE DE LA PLAGE AU CALME. Votre loyer comprend également le nettoyage professionnel de fin de semaine alors que de nombreux autres chalets ne le sont pas (vous devez payer plus). Frais pour un petit chien est beaucoup moins que de louer dans un chenil (et vous ne préféreriez pas avoir votre bébé de fourrure avec vous, nous savons que nous le faisons)

Caché dans une rue calme, loin de toute la circulation folle, pourtant proche de la plage.

Marchez jusqu’aux restaurants locaux, à proximité de Old Orchard, de la piscine Biddeford, des magasins et des parcs à thème. La plage de 7 mile est à seulement quelques minutes à pied du chalet (environ 900 pieds). Détendez-vous sur le pont situé dans une rue paisible abritant des cottages historiques datant du XIXe siècle.

Admirez le marais à marée haute depuis le balcon du 2e étage. Profitez des couchers de soleil spectaculaires. La cuisine entièrement équipée facilite les repas, la cuisine et le nettoyage. Deux canapés et une chaise se trouvent dans le salon pour regarder un film le soir ou marcher dans un restaurant local où beaucoup disent avoir les meilleures palourdes frites de leur vie.

3 chambres spacieuses à l'étage avec matelas à plateau-coussin rendent le repos pour votre lendemain facile. Il y a 2 lits queen et 1 lit superposé (lit superposé a 1 matelas complet et 1 twin).

160 m² Salle à manger avec table pour 6 personnes (salle 3 saisons non disponible hors saison). Comprend également une télévision couleur / lecteur DVD / câble dans la chambre pour les cartes et les jeux en fin de soirée.

Toutes les télévisions dans les chambres ont une antenne HD locale. Apportez Roku ou Firestick. Écran plat de 42 pouces en maître befroom.

Les vestiges de la plage servent à la détente ou à la construction de châteaux de sable. Trouvez de nombreux trésors en marchant du verre de mer à l'étoile de mer et à l'argent du sable. Vous pouvez même apercevoir un phoque commun à proximité. Une courte distance de marche de la plage vous amènera à une jetée rocheuse longue de plusieurs kilomètres pour la pêche et les couchers de soleil.

Le jet ski, les charters de pêche et davantage d’affaires ont couru juste au bord de la jetée au cours des dernières saisons.

3 minutes en voiture de Old Orchard Beach avec de nombreux magasins et un parc d'attractions. 10 à 15 minutes en voiture de 2 parcs à thème tels que Fun Town Splash Town. Cinéma drive-in, marchés aux puces quotidiens, magasins et restaurants. balcon a été ajouté au 2ème étage pour une meilleure vue sur le village et les marais salants.

Beautiful cottage with a spacious layout. Everything was A+. Couldn’t give it a higher rating than spectacular 🎉👍👍. So much to do and just a short walk to an amazing beach. If you’re lucky enough to book this cottage you will love ❤️ it.

Home away from home

We had the best week here in Camp Ellis. Everything about this home was wonderful. Quick walk to and from the beach, grill to cook food, spacious living area, etc. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Summer Vacation

We were so pleased with our stay at this cottage in Camp Ellis. The cottage was very clean, cozy, and well-decorated with beach-themed items. The location was perfect, as it is a very short walk (and even faster and safe bike ride) to the beach. The general store and Huot’s (a seafood restaurant) were very convenient (and also a short walk or bike ride away). The place is in a quiet neighborhood but a quick drive to Old Orchard for some arcade games, beach shops, and rides for the kids. My husband and I, as well as our two teenagers equally enjoyed our stay. The owners of the property were very kind, helpful and considerate - although we did not need to contact them for much! The check-in process was super easy and notes at the cabin were very helpful in case we had any questions. We will be thrilled to come back for another stay next summer!

The local beach on Camp Ellis was very Small

The Rental was very spacious and probably the best out of my 13 years Renting up OOB. We spent several days on the Ferry State Beach that was exceptionally beautiful.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay here. We've been staying in Camp Ellis for years and this is one of our favorite places we have stayed at. Cute and clean. The street is also lovely, shady and quiet. Close to the general store and the beach. John and Roxanne are great and quick to help with anything you need. We truly enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

Week of vacation plus work

Spent 8 nights. Well stocked and easy to stay. My husband worked from the house for the week. The internet worked well. The beach is very close by with a path to walk along when the tide is high.

Cozy and Quiet

If you are looking for a casual house in a quiet location, walking distance to general store, incredible and relaxed seafood restaurant, the beach and wonderful neighbors, this is the house for you! Don’t let me miss the wonderful owners who are incredibly responsive and provide a comfortable home to the guest. Having spent my summers growing up in OOB, I was afraid I may be a little too far out- not the case. The house is in a quiet neighborhood just far enough away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the amusement park and pier but just a short trolley ride to all- and $1/person! I would definitely recommend this property and would consider staying again should my travels take me back to Maine.

Wonderful little cottage in quaint area of Maine

What a week!! My family (4 adults, 1 child) rented this home the week of July 4 this year. We were also permitted to bring our small dogs for a fee. We chose to head north as I hadn't been to Maine, and the weather in Maryland was atrociously hot! Little did we know the heat wave would follow us to Maine. This home does not have air conditioning (which is probably normally perfectly fine) but they do supply LOTS of fans, which we used EVERY one :) The home was equipped with literally everything we could need, even beach chairs and a cart! The only thing we needed to bring was food and linens. There was plenty of room for us to be comfortable while inside. There are games, books, TV, and of course, the Maine scenery. We took the opportunity to drive to several lighthouses to the South, went on a successful whale-watching trip, journeyed to Monhegan Island, and explored downtown Portland which we LOVED. The owners are very communicative and nice and even returned a belt we accidentally left in house. The home sits VERY close to the neighbor, who happens to be very nice also. Parking was a little tight for our large minivan and large SUV. The driveway is shared with the neighbor. There is a small yard, and the house is on a quiet, low-traffic street just up the road from a marina and the beach. The beach was much smaller than we expected and is shared by a good number of people at this time. The home is about 2 blocks off the beach - a very easy walk. We also wandered out on a jetty for the fireworks displays. The home is also located about 5 miles from Old Orchard Beach which has tons of people, beach, restaurants, and an amusement park with an arcade. Overall, this trip was wonderful in so many ways, the home and its owners included. I would certainly recommend renting the Molinas' home and would consider returning myself.

Wonderful vacation!

I want to thank John and Roxanne for opening their home to us for our summer vacation. There is so much that is wonderful about their property I don't know where to begin. The house was exactly as represented in their listing. All the appliances worked, the house is large and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and there were fans everywhere so we were never uncomfortable. John was so responsive to every message I sent him, such a lovely man. The only thing that bothered us was the house was pretty dirty from the guests before us. This is in NO WAY a reflection on John or Roxanne, when you do not live in the home and depend on someone else to clean in lieu of you, you are literally at their mercy. It was a bit upsetting that we paid the extra for the cleaning fee and ended up needing to spend the first hour cleaning. The house was super easy to clean and it wasn't that big of a deal. (just so you know this is the ONLY reason the house didn't not get 5 stars, it would have been 10 stars otherwise!) When I messaged John about it just so he would know and if he chose could address it with the person that is supposed to clean, he was so gracious and even said that any money we spent on supplies he would reimburse us. The house was perfect in every way and would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful house to stay in in a WONDERFUL area. Thank you again John and Roxanne for opening your home to us!

Awesome Cottage - Perfect Location for Peace and Seaside Fun for the Family!

Dear John & Roxanne, My family and I had a wonderful stay at your cottage. It had everything you could ask for and more! From the kitchen with pots and pans for easy lobster cooking, to all the toys, buckets and boogie boards for the beach! It was clean and presentable and my children really enjoyed the bunk beds and fought for who would be on the top bunk every night! It had ample room to accommodate our family of five and our dog. The cottage is in a very quiet street which is perfect for winding down and walking the dog without fear of busy traffic. Everyone we met - from the neighbours, to the Fishin' Optician (whom we purchased fresh delicious lobsters) were very friendly! John & Roxanne were great to work with and answered any questions we had in an expeditious manner! The cottage is minutes from the General Store where we bought ice creams on a regular basis and the beach (which is dog friendly, compared to other beaches in the area which have time limitations). The location is just perfect for families with young children. It offers all the fun you could ask for without the craziness and crowds of Old Orchard which is just up the road. We felt safe to just let the kids swim and do their own thing as the beach was small enough for us to keep an eye on them, yet large enough to enjoy all that you'd expect from a seaside getaway. The cottage is also just approximately 30 minutes from great scenic cities like Cape Elizabeth, Kennebunkport, Portland - which are perfect day trips for families. It was our first trip to Maine and we are sure it won't be our last. It was worth the 14 hour drive from Michigan. We truly created wonderful family memories and our children are already asking when we will be back! Thank you John & Roxanne for a wonderful stay! Best Regards, Joe & Suzie

Family Share Time

Dear John and Roxanne, We had a wonderful stay in your loved home-away. We were grateful that you welcomed our unexpected family members coming to us. Each one of us had privacy for quiet time (our own TV's) and plenty of room to enjoy our together time. We ate lobster every night. Since we were out-of-season, we enjoyed the already steamed lobsters from Hannaford Market. We did a whale watch from Portland and enjoyed it without a whale. Good time to be "at sea". We need to come back when all is happening but for our time it was great. Just walking the beach pleases these "dessert rats"! Thank you for the many comforts of home and for sharing them.

Outstanding find! Better than expected.

This house is very well maintained, clean, and spacious. You can tell right away even from the correspondence prior to rental that these folks really care about their home and take great care of it. Everything was as described or better. Updated technology with wifi, cable and dvd throughout was ideal. The bonus dining room area is much bigger than it looks in these pics. Bathrooms are good sized and clean. Kitchen was very functional and really fully stocked. The view from the deck was lovely and the grill, shed, porch, yard and other amenities made this an incredible find. The owners put the care and attention in to make sure that their renters are comfortable and enjoy their vacation. We would return in a heart beat.

Exceeds expectation!

What a find! Camp Ellis is the sandy beach without the hectic traffic.Your cozy, comfortable home was a great home base for exploring all around Southern Maine. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Our foodie family found the kitchen very well-equipped and we enjoyed preparing local seafood. We hope to come back again, and would recommend this property to any traveler!

Great property with all the amenities!

We had a wonderful stay at this 3 BR cottage! The place was clean and well stocked with every kind of kitchen utensil, bowl, etc. The owner was responsive to emails. The location was just a couple of blocks from a nice, quiet beach and a few little restaurants. Saco is not far away (driving) for groceries and the like. Provides a good base for visiting Portland, ME or Portsmouth, NH. Our toddler loved her fish-themed room and talked about it for months afterwards. We all remember our time in Camp Ellis fondly!

Great, comfortable cottage

The comforts of your home made for a very pleasant vacation. Every year we have been retreating to Camp Ellis for the past 20 years. We came with family and friends to share two wonderful weeks and your home was perfect and SO CLOSE TO THE OCEAN Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. We had a fantastic vacation. Hosted by the Molina's. A couple that lives in Camp Ellis. We try to make our cottage as comfortable as we can for our guests, as we live here as well.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Camp Ellis is a bit like an old Village going back into the olden days. There is basically only 1 road into the village that ends up circling around the village and back out. There are about 80 cottages in this area. Some of the lobsterman and fishermen have been here for decades. One will cook them right outside his house for you.

We wanted a place where we could bring our children every summer. They can walk the area with little worry of traffic. They can go to the general store and get an ice cream cone, go crabbing off the jetty or look for sand dollars at low tide.

we couldn't have found a better place in Maine near a beach to raise our family.

Very quiet area in relationship to others like Wells and Ogunquit. 100 people on the beach in the summertime during the week is considered crowded.
