Step into our airy open concept apartment with ocean views and tons of natural light.

The living room has vaulted ceilings, ocean views, and includes a large over-sized sectional, mid century modern TV stand, and a large TV with Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Video.

The dining room includes seating!

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all dishes/cookware.

The bedroom offers ocean views and includes a memory foam mattress, plush bedding, and a dresser w/mirror.

The bathroom is newly remodeled with tons of natural light.

The deck offers panoramic ocean views and outdoor seating!

In the shed you will have access to beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!

This is an upper level apartment there is an Airbnb apartment below you but this is completely separate then your apartment.

You will have full access to your private apartment, and the shed with beach gear!

I live just down the street and are available any time via phone or text or Airbnb App. Please do not hesitate to reach out for anything you may need! We respect the fact that you are on vacation and really like to give our guest as much privacy as possible. That being said we are here if you need us at any point :)

All of our neighbors look out for one another. A few of them are short term rentals hosts as well so you are surrounded by a great group of locals and it is extremely safe.

PLEASE NOTE: this apartment is not ocean front but has ocean views. It is located on one of the tallest parts of the island. The home is extremely close to the ocean just minutes away to a public beach access with free parking :) We do recommend driving vs walking so you don't have to carry the beach gear we provide across a busier summer road. The ocean is just a few blocks away. There are two Airbnb apartments below yours that are completely separate.

Very detailed check-in instructions and super breezy check-out. The place was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable! The apartment rests on a hill so you get a great view of the ocean without the wind- this was perfect for our chilly November trip. Would stay again!

Great communication by the host! Accommodations were flawlessly maintained, and as comfortably as we could have hoped for. The bed was very comfortable and the house was clean. Which, are two very important features to me. The hot water was a little bit of a challenge, but was fine once it made it to the shower and kitchen sink. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Beach Place

This was such a nice clean place to stay. The location was super close to the beach and other places to see and do things! It was relaxing and the deck was perfect for reading, relaxing and enjoying the beach breeze! We had everything we needed and the communication with the property owner was easy and all instructions were super clear! It was a great place to stay and we would love to come back!

Exactly what we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO in the Outer Banks! The space was exactly what we needed — comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. It had everything from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, as it was centrally located to all the main attractions in the area, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the Outer Banks has to offer. Peaceful stay at The Welch

Hubby and I went for our anniversary. The place was very clean and centrally located in that we could get to restaurants or grocery store in a short drive. Best of all was that it was really peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed use of the chairs and umbrella to take to the beaxh as well as the deck outside. Liked the decor and it was appointed well. If you want a quiet and peaceful place, this will be a great choice for a couple.

The place was spectacularly maintained. Extremely clean and organized. Very comfortable furniture, comfortable bed and a great getaway on the outer banks. Highly recommend for a couples retreat. Easy access to beach, restaurants and stores. Not disappointed in any way.

The booking, check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. The host was good about communicating the available amenities provided, ability for early check in and in following up about our trip and stay at the property. The accommodation was really nice and perfect for our needs - a relaxing beach weekend. We'll consider this host's other properties again in future.
