Super cute listing on the hill MAYBE a mile off the main road. Gives you the allusion of being deep away from the city without the distance. The listing is the bottom floor of a 3 story home and was not awkward at all. When using the private dirt driveway around the corner, we didnât encounter any other occupants throughout the duration of the stay. Pictures donât do the home justice, itâs a gorgeous view with a nice cozy home + kitchenette.
This home was perfect for the quick getaway and is the middle point of around 3 lakes all 15 minutes away. The listing had all of the amenities + more and even provided the things we wouldnât of though of like allergy medicine and bug spray. The home has portable AC units that brought the whole home to a cool 67 degrees. A few other reviews mentioned the laundry noise but we had no issues with that whatsoever.
The rental was clean and well supplied with kitchen and bathroom necessities.
The air conditioner in the living room did not work well so that room was hot.
We left one day early due to the constant loud construction work in the upper section of the house.
The manager apologized and stated that we would be reimbursed for one day.
This rental was perfect very clean, comfortable and had everything we could ever need to be comfortable. The host was very responsive to all my messages. The property is dog friendly and even had a small bucket of toys and blankets for our furry family member. The views from the balcony are beautiful to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning. We will defiantly be coming back for our weekend get aways.
Overall our stay was comfortable and nice. Apartment had everything we needed and our dogs were welcome. Unfortunately the laundry room right next to the bedroom was used by tennants in the middle of the night waking us up for a couple of hours unexpectedly.
What a great place. The photos don't do it justice. The patio with a heater and the huge windows on the inside gave us a wonderful view of the valley. It was perfect for a few day stay. If you are planning on staying longer just be aware the fridge is a smaller sized one and their is no oven. We would totally stay here next time we visit the area. The price is perfect also!
Close enough to town, but away from the noise - and a great view!
We were a little concerned about sharing a home, but the way it is set up we had a good sense of privacy. Having the entire floor was about like being in a condo situation - no problems. The space is not small and it has been well furnished, but the view deck with very comfy chairs is the main attraction. We had some issues with the Roku TV, and the loose gravel on the downslope driveway might bother some folks, but overall we enjoyed it.
My kids 6, 7, 9 and I enjoyed our stay very much. Great host, very friendly, included personal touches to help our stay that much more enjoyable. Property very clean in a quiet neighborhood with great views. Hearing only nature sounds while relaxing on deck was great. The deck has great views and perfect location to watch the sunrise. If you prefer sleeping in, just remember to close the window blinds at night and you'll be set.
We loved how close it was to the lake and zoo, as well as downtown. They did a great job on the unit, and it was very comfortable for 2 adults and one child. We enjoyed the views from the deck and quiet neighborhood
My husband and I wanted to escape the heat of Phoenix, and we wanted a pet-friendly place. We also wanted a place we could make our own meals given the reality of COVID. The place was super clean, and Linda provided treats for us and our dog. We also had nice, plush towels. Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on the deck as we had our morning coffee. The place was close to downtown Prescott and about 2 hours from the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We had a great time.
The only downside was the driveway, which Linda warned us about. We parked in the main driveway most days and took the stairs. The stairs were a bit steep and a little rickety but we managed quite well. I would stay again and recommend to those who want to explore northern Arizona.
We enjoyed our stay at Linda's - the bottom level of their cool historic house was perfect for our family. The bedroom is very spacious, kitchen has everything you need and the patio had fantastic views.
Very clean, everything you need for a short stay. It was very hot so air con was noisy, but they canât control the weather. Very close to downtown & neighborhood quiet. We would definitely stay again.
Excellent place to travel with pets! Very comfortable bed! The hostess Linda is an excellent communicator who really loves having guests. The apartment area is private. The view is wonderful! Linda has supplied all the little necessities to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. When traveling to Prescott area we will definitely come back here with our 4 legged kids.
We wanted a nice, comfortable place close enough to enjoy Prescott but far enough away to avoid any crowds or noise. This place was perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the view from the deck and the short drive to downtown restaurants.
Quiet location up in the hills with a spectacular view. Close to Lake Watson where we hiked every day. We highly recommend this location. Owners are wonderful people. Five stars overall.
I (Linda) was born in Thailand and have traveled the world, educated with two Master degrees and love to meet new people and their pets. We have a senior Chihuahua and a young Hangin' Tree Cowdog. They can be heard sometimes but many guest won't see them. I love living in Prescott and have resided here since 2011. I wish I had moved here much sooner. The weather, people and activities meet my family's needs. I enjoy gardening and driving my classic VW around town. Plus, hanging out with my son and husband whenever I can.
This house is a unique structure because it is built on the side of a hill with log poles and over time the poles are leaning to one side. The house was nick-named "Log pole house" by the neighbors when they got established. The builders of the Log pole house would have open house once a year and invite anyone interested to tour their house. In addition, some neighbors claim that they have seen ghost/spirits in this home.
Private driveway with great views and deck/entrance. Suite is attached to main house. Craftsman touches (personally crafted by my husband, Joe) throughout the suite.
