Gorgeous 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cabin tucked away in McCurtain County Wilderness!

This is an adorable 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cabin that is perfectly located in Hochatown, Oklahoma! Great floor plan. Kitchen is open and inviting. The living area has an indoor fireplace. Each bedroom has french doors that open out to the large back deck where the hot tub is located. Tucked away in nature, just 3 miles from Broken Bow Lake and the BEAUTIFUL Beavers Bend State Park. Off a paved road, you will be just 1 mile away from Okie Girls Coffee and Ice Cream, Mountain Fork Brewery, Hochatown Distillery, and Knotted Rope Winery. Grateful Head Pizza and Girls Gone Wine Winery are not too far down the road either!

Unfortunately my review is going to be far different than the other reviews of this property/host. Apparently the hosts I booked with sold the property mid-November and we were coming into town for Thanksgiving. We didn’t find this out until the morning of our reservations, so we had zero notice. Because they sold the house I didn’t deal with the hosts I booked with, I dealt with the new host. Which was fine, but when the cabin lost power I called to let them know and he said he’d call the power company and call me right back. There was no return call and after 2 hours we left the cabin to salvage the rest of the day. The listing and the reviews talked about how stocked this house was so I wasn’t concerned with cooking Thanksgiving dinner there. We brought the majority of what I knew we’d need but it didn’t even occur to me to bring plates! The house sleeps 6, but there were only 4 plates. 4 plates in this entire house!! There were no sheets for the pull out couch and no extra blankets which was awful!! It got extremely cold at night even with the heater on and we were forced to share 4 blankets between 6 people. It was a huge let down from what I read and expected to what was reality and my thought is it could be because they sold the cabin so we were no longer their problem and because our reservation didn’t sit with the new owners, we weren’t there problem either. Hopefully you’ll have a better stay than we did. We won’t be returning to this cabin or host(s) again.

This is a very nice cabin in a very nice location. The property is very well-kept and the cabin is very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. We arrived much later than planned the first night and unfortunately got a little lost, but the hosts were very gracious and helpful with directions despite it being late at night. We really appreciated their kindness. The cabin has everything you would need for a nice weekend getaway or if you were staying longer. I would definitely recommend the property and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time visiting Broken Bow. The house was clean and situated in a great location. Despite being in a neighborhood, the dense trees and ample open spaces effectively muffled any noise from the neighbors.

Cabin was Very Nice, But

The cabin was very nice and we did enjoy the weekend there. It was clean, plenty of towels for both the hot tub and taking showers. We forgot coffee and there plenty there. Very enjoyable stay. The only minus is that it is not boat friendly. The only way to park the boat was to back it down the drive about 100 yards. Not enough room at the cabin to pull in and turn around.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Super nice and, although it’s got neighbors, it’s back off the road and secluded. Also enjoyed the two baby deer and it’s Momma, coming up to snack at the feeder in the back every day. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

Fantastic last minute getaway for my son’s birthday! Great communication with owners, who were very friendly and provided tons of helpful information. Beautiful and clean cabin that was very inviting and cozy and close distance to everything you need and want. Definitely 5 stars!

Absolutely Awesome

This property while not really secluded was just the right amount of privacy that we needed. The other cabins seem close but once inside the cabin and when using the hot tub and back deck they seem dissappear from your thoughts. It was perfect for the 2 weeks or more we spent there. The owners are very accommodating and our trip was perfect.

Awesome cabin!

Great cabin, very clean and very nice owners. Just a 3 minute drive to restaurants shops. The road is fully paved (unlike many in the area). Bedrooms are on opposite sides of cabin so you have more privacy if staying with a group or family. Showers are great, nice large deck and hot tub out back. Hochatown had a water leak that affected most of the area our first night there because of freezing temps/ burst pipe. The water came back on the next morning, but our host was very responsive and helpful keeping us updated, and even refunded us for the first night without even asking! We will definitely come back!

This cabin is absolutely amazing!!! You can watch deer while relaxing in The hot tub on the back porch!! The cabin has everything you need , and is super clean and kept up. Very impressed with this property!!

Birthday Celebration

This home was amazing. Located near many restaurants/attractions. The home itself was fully stocked & we were even greeted with a bottle of wine/wine glasses. The only thing that would of made this better, would of been a Tv to watch while Sitting in the hot tub. Lol The weather was amazing& they have the perfect porches (front & back) to enjoy it. The house isn’t overly decorated, which I LOVE. Simple/beautiful/classic cabin feel. We LOVED it. It’s a Really nice, clean cabin. Perfect for us two, but would of fit another couple with plenty of space. Watching the deer roam all over the property was an added bonus! Highly recommend & we look forward to returning in the future!

Nice spot to get away

It was perfect for us. We loved the location and layout of the cabin. The view into the trees through the back windows made you feel secluded and in touch with the natural surroundings. We felt welcomed immediately by the little touches like music playing and and the nice scent of the place. The hot tub was ready to use and many decor items were similar to our own home. It felt more like coming to a friend's home than an empty place. We would have loved to have stayed longer and want to plan another trip soon where we can do just that!

Perfect location and amazing time!

We took a last minute trip as part of my dads retirement. We really lucked out with this beautiful home being available! It was the perfect size and SUPER clean! The owners were quick to respond to all my questions. It’s much more secluded then all the other cabins we saw, but super close to all the things we wanted to do! My family and I that stayed ranged from 3 months - 65, our kiddos loved the board games the home had available too! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely love the A frame design and especially on the deck

‱ Well appointed ‱ Very spacious ‱ Ample towels ‱ Kitchen well equipped ‱ Excellent storage ‱ Large washer/dryer ‱ Back deck is awesome ‱ Both bathrooms large and multiple shower heads nice ‱ The knotty pine paneling throughout the house is perfect ‱ Love all the windows and natural light There were some very minor issues which I will be happy to share with the owner if he contacts me.

We discovered Broken Bow back in 2018. It's such a unique place and if you love nature, this definitely needs to be on your list to visit!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in LOVE with this property the moment we opened the front door! The floor plan is open and inviting. The 2 master bedroom suites are perfect for a romantic getaway, a family trip, couples stay, or girls vacay!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

One of my favorite places to be at the cabin, is on the large wooden back deck. Cool crisp mornings are the perfect time to warm up with some coffee while either watching the wildlife around the deer feeder, or taking a dip in the hot tub! You can relax during the evening sitting around the fire pit roasting some SMORE'S!
