Il s'agit d'un autobus scolaire récemment converti, soigneusement conçu pour vous offrir une expérience digne d'Instagram dont vous vous souviendrez longtemps après la fin de votre voyage aux Ozarks. Blottissez-vous sur le lit confortable en mousse à mémoire de forme avec un bon livre ou faites cuire des guimauves dans le foyer après une journée complète à explorer les sentiers de randonnée locaux. Skoolie offre tout le confort «glamping»: un lit en mousse à m��moire de forme, un canapé-lit, une kitchenette bien équipée et une salle de bains avec douche / toilettes. Cute little get away!

This little bus was even cuter than described! Very clean, and comfortable. The area is peaceful and quiet. The only thing I’d say is that it’s a stretch to say it sleeps 4. There were only 2 of us and we slept very comfortably. I’d say 3 would be okay as long as they’re relatively small and at least 2 are comfortable sharing a full size bed. It was perfect for us.

Cute bus

We came for a short weekend trip bc I thought staying here would be super unique and a great core memory. It was unique. It’s clean and very comfortable. Due to the small space, the toilet is situated in the shower itself. We knew this before we went so we all took a long shower before and after this trip. The bed is very comfortable. The fire pit is nice. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and driving home bc a really bad smell was circulating from the very back of the bus. It didn’t seem to be coming from the toilet but we sensed it most coming from the heater. I am sure the host, having a long history of great reviews will investigate and correct whatever is causing this. It smelled like a rotten Easter egg.

The Skoolie was just what I expected from the listing and my family loved it. Very unique and well done conversion. Fully stocked with necessities and some great amenities (tv, internet, toaster oven). Comfortable bed.

Perfect night with fireflies

I had a wonderful time and this place was perfect for what I wanted. A quiet spot to be alone with fireflies. I sat out near the fire pit and just listened to the cicadas and watched the woods light up with fireflies. Really, that is what I was hoping for and the spot delivered. The interior of Skoolie is comfortable and cosy and cool even when it is blazing hot outside. The surrounding area is quite and sleeping was undisturbed. In the morning I was able to do a 2 mile walk along the loop road. Deer and fawns were out as where rabbits and squirrels. The kitchen is very well equipped. I didn’t cook anything beyond a microwave and toaster, but there are plenty of utensils, measuring cups, and pans for doing a bit of cooking. Refrigerator is small, but the little freezer kept my frozen foods frozen and I was able to freeze a water bottle in it overnight. I would caution anyone who is really tall that I did feel like I might be ramming my head into the ceiling at any moment and I am only 5 feet and some change. I think it is an optical illusion because the windows are lower than your shoulders, but my SO would have felt a bit cramped in this space. However, that said, I could stay a week and be very happy here! Too bad I only had time for the one night.

Amazing!!

We absolutely LOVED this little hidden gem.. it had everything we needed, quiet area, firewood provided and close to everything we needed in town. I’m so glad i stumbled upon this perfectly thought out camping bus… you guys outdone yourselves with this!!! Can’t wait to stay again and i have already had SO many friends asking about it. Anyone that stays here will not be disappointed!

Great little getaway

Took my son for a little overnight trip, and it did NOT disappoint. He loved every moment of getting to stay on a bus. We will definitely do this again in the future!

Unique place to stay

Nice clean “cabin”. Wasn’t as private/remote as pictures appeared but with the time of year, the other cabins right next door seemed empty so there wasn’t a lot of activity right around us. Nice unique place to stay. We really enjoyed our time.

The skoolie was the best! Tad bit on the cold side when we stayed, but a nice fire and warm inside.

We couldn't have picked a perfect place as the skoolie! Memories were made and that's all we could have asked for! Thanks Emily for all that you do to give people the perfect outdoor experience...with a little glamping.

Our family had a lovely time on the skoolie. It rained the first night, but we just put on our rain coats and had a fire anyways. The wood was nice and seasoned. The skoolie was actually better than pictures! The second day and night we had a blast. Played baggo, played some games that were in the bus, and of course had Santa. Started the fire in the morning and had it all day and night. The neighbors are literally right next door on both sides. So just a little FYI. I think one actually lives there, but they have put a little fence up in between that one. The other one is another rental, but I think it was to cold for them to wonder around. So we were the only ones around. Just us and the pups. Definitely would go again!!

Principals on the bus

We were their for only ten minutes and two huge deer came up wagging their tails like dogs. It was quite and very peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the pleasant temperatures. The bus contained everything we needed including tv and Wi-Fi.

great weekend retreat

we only stayed one night, but we had a great stay. We took time to enjoy the fire pit and out overall stay was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and well planned out.

Loved Schoolie

Very unique experience. Directions were a little difficult but we weren't sure which way to go out of Mt View as we were not familiar with where Leslie was. Glad we stayed and would stay again.

Quaint relaxation - did not want to leave! We will be back by God’s mercy and grace!

I loved the email with all the things to do before we arrived! It was so relaxing! Private area! Very neat way to spend the 50th birthday. The host was very accommodating. Everything was just as listed! There were no surprises. No problems with the coolie schoolie.

Amazing!!!

This was our first family vacation. Me & my husband and our 2 little ones. It did not disappoint. 10/10 recommend!! It’s a little deeper in the woods than we realized but we weren’t upset about it. There were 3 or 4 houses within walking distant so we felt very comfortable. However there was enough woods between us that we still had our privacy. The town was so cute & we had so much fun exploring & seeing different sites. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute cozy get away!

My partner and I had this vacation planned for our honeymoon. When we arrived we immediately couldn’t find the remote to the tv. We reached out to the manager and they were quick to reply, helpful, and very nice! Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, we had to quickly leave the skoolie. We contacted the manager about our situation, who was very considerate and caring about it. We were able to get some many back due to the skoolie was able to be rebooked. We didn’t expect to be able to get anything back so that was a very pleasant surprise. Over all the skoolie was amazing. My partner has always been obsessed with them so we knew we had to go. The place was very clean and cozy. We didn’t get much time there but we loved what time we did get. We will definitely go back for a redo soon!

S k o o l i e was C o o l i e!

Our 1st experience in a tiny home/school bus and I am sold! Cute deco and all the essentials are there. Sad we where visisting during a burn ban so we did not get to enjoy the awesome firepit, but did sit outside a bit until the blankets where not helping anymore. Have enjoyed telling our friends/family about how unique the bus was!

What an awesome place

I was enchanted from the first time I saw the Emerald Gypsy Skoolie on VRBO. It did not disappoint. Cozy, private, quiet, clean as a whistle, wood provided for the fire pit along with well stocked indoors. Close to Mountain View activities. If you’ve never stayed in a Skoolie ( we had not) do yourself a favor and give this one a try! Big thumbs up from us!

Perfect Getaway

Hands down the most unique VRBO I have ever stayed in! We only stayed one night but enjoyed all this Skoolie had to offer. There are still original elements to the bus which is very cool! We roasted s’mores by the fire at night and enjoyed the peace and quiet location. Even on a very hot day, this bus stayed nice and cool the entire time. I would recommend to anyone looking for something different than your typical hotel room!
