Spectacular views and convenient location

We had two wonderful nights in this condo. It was spotless, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated. With two bedrooms and a loft, there was plenty of space for all of us. Brandi was very easy to communicate with, and made the whole process a breeze. The best part was the proximity to skiing at Tahoe Donner. We would highly recommend this place, and would definitely love to stay there again!

Beautiful place

This is an amazing property. It’s pretty neat and modern. There were a few issues that I wanted to address: the fire lighter, shampoo/conditioner were empty. The heaters were not very efficient and the fireplace was causing a lot of smoke. Other than these 2-3 things, our stay was amazing. Great location too!

if you are dreaming of a mountain getaway, this is the place to be

We booked this rental months in advance as I had my brother and family visiting and they wanted to see snow. The weekend we booked it happened to have one of those big snowstorms and we got stuck in the highway for hours!! It was dumping so much snow that day, and we did not get to the propery until almost midnight. The host was very responsive to me while we were stuck in the freeway even if she was in the middle of a NYE party. By the time we got to the property, everything is covered with knee deep snow we had to guess where the path to the condo is and plow our way through the snow. The condo felt very home-y and provided us with much needed comfortable good restful night after 12 hrs of drive from the bay area. We woke up the next morning in a gorgeous winter wonderland view, with the condo's big glass windows and everything outside covered in thick new powder, it was just perfect. The condo is in a small ski resort so you'd really feel like you're in the mountains. The property has good heating, which we needed that weekend, and everything that we needed in the bathroom, kitchen, living room. The condo had a snow shovel that helped us clear out the steps. They even have sleds that you can use. It takes a few minutes from the exit to the condo but it is a beautiful neighborhood. We would definitely rent this again if we spend a few days in Tahoe again. Right by the exit from 80 are restaurants and also a safeway to get groceries from. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely tree house!

My family really enjoyed their stay! Two teenagers and an eleven year old dubbed it the tree house because the three levels and spacious windows reminded them of a tree house. They said it was equipped with everything they needed and they are looking forward to their next stay. The only concern, and it was a small concern, is that the stairs to the front door are rather steep, especially if you are coming home in the dark.

Great place to stay

This property has everything you need. Very clean, well equipped and great owners. We went skiing at Tahoe Donner and took the 5 minute walk to the lifts and walked back for lunch. We will be looking to stay there again.

Away for the weekend

Prefect getaway. Great location. The only problem was there are twin beds in one of the room and no third bathroom. (The listing said double bed and queen bed and 3 bathrooms). The place was very clean, really nicely equipped and super quite.

Nice renovated condo in the woods

Very nice renovated condo in the woods. The owner is very receptive and easy to get ahold of. Very pet friendly location! Be aware there are alot of relatively steep stairs and no A/C. We happened to stay during a heat wave, so it got a little uncomfortable, particularly after hiking up the stairs, lol! There are fans provided in the bedrooms and plenty of windows to open so it is bearable. Overall a very nice place and relatively close to central Truckee.

A nice hideaway!

This is a cozy property located within a ski resort. The walks around and up the ski slopes every morning and evening during the stay with our two whippets were wonderful! Maybe we didn't read the full directions but it took us a little time to find the actual property since there were many others that look alike. The view from the living room was just spectacular.

Fantastic stay at Tahoe Donner

We had a wonderful time at the condo. Everything was just perfect! The place was very clean and comfortable, the host was super responsive. And the location was amazing, within a 5 min walk to the lift!

Great Getaway

We had a nice few day stay at this condo located just steps away from the ski lifts at tahoe donner. The mountain had just closed for the season but hopefully we'll be back during winter to take full advantage. The place itself was nice and cozy, heat worked great, big screen TVs in living area + loft, well appointed kitchen and mountain decor throughout. Dog friendly was a super plus! It snowed several inches when we arrived and you gotta be careful walking up or down the steps to the front door in those conditions but other than that the place was pretty awesome and host was very responsive! Will stay here again for sure.

Wonderful visit!

The house was just perfect! We were pleasantly surprised to find two twin beds in the bedroom instead of another queen. My kids are thrilled to that have to share a bed :)!!! The view from the couch is amazing and the house is equipped with anything you could need. The beds were comfortable and all the linens were great. There are a lot of stairs. They start from the parking lot, then more to get to the front door, Then more up to each bedroom. The Master is on the third level so be prepared. We would stay again.

Great spot for families!

Great ski-in/out location at Tahoe Donner with easy parking. Condo is super cute and well-maintained with updated kitchenware and furniture. Eat-in kitchen was perfect for all the take-out and meals at home. Fireplace was nice but we didn’t use it (with a toddler running around). Downstairs could get a bit cold but once we turned the ceiling fan on low it helped keep the heat downstairs. Loved the convenience of this location and will definitely be back!

Great place, lots of stairs

We had some trouble with the toilets- not a lot of water pressure This place has tons of stairs Nice and clean, had all the things we needed, plenty of blankets towels sheets dishes etc It’s super close to the ski resort- closer than the ski resort’s own parking lot! Walk up to the lift, come home for lunch. Really nice.

We had a great experience and would love to stay at this property again. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Every detail was lovely. Had a great experience walking to Tahoe Donner to teach the kids to ski.

Awesome condo with all the right stuff

The condo is beautifully appointed. Nothing but the best in the kitchen, hairdryers and all the toiletries you will need. Furniture and beds, mattresses were all top quality, including linens towels and blankets. We felt super cozy and happy there, and walked just a couple minutes down the driveway to donner downhill ski resort which is the perfect beginner hill for families with kids. Overall we loved our lodging and location, all top notch! The owner was super great when we had to communicate too. I’ll definitely look to booking again with this condo.

Just what we needed!!!

My husband and I just were impressed that this condo had every amenity we could ask for including a better than exceptional view! Our two (hard to please) teenagers were begging us to book another trip because they loved it (even after sharing the twin bedroom (Can you say “bonding time?!) Even the dog gave it a “paws up” because he never gets to vacation with us! Truckee is a great adventure and this condo was a perfect stay.

Beautiful condo

We had a wonderful time with our 2 girls and dog! The Rec pool was a ton of a fun, and we enjoyed hiking and an adventure down to Tahoe City. The condo had everything we needed and was close to downtown truckee and Tahoe. Thanks again!

Great Truckee Condo

We really enjoyed our stay and it was so nice to have our dog with us! The Condo is very clean and well stocked. The views are beautiful from the living room and the furnishings were great. Thank you Brandi, we look forward to renting again in the future.
