Home is fairly big and the 1st level bedroom/bathroom is nice. We liked the location, easy to get to main road/grocery stores etc. You can tell that the home is a rental and community pool is small for neighborhood size. Had to pickup the house key at real estate office, might be nice if key/lockbox would be at the house. Overall this was a good deal and house and we enjoyed our week long stay.
My husband, myself and 3 elementary aged kids like to vacation with my parents and my sister, her husband and new baby and this house was perfection!
Its SO spacious. My sister and husband took the naster to take advantage of the enormous walk in closet which they used as a nursery for their baby. It was ideal as it has no windows and was super dark and they could go in and out of their room in their room without waking her up during naps and night time. The kids room was great with two beds and a big dresser. We brought our own little TV and roku for them to have their own little living room area and used one of the crib mattresses for our 5 year old to sleep in the kids room.
The basement room with the full bath is so spacious, its like a little apartment on its own.
The garage had beach toys, a baby float and lots of little things you may need but forgot to bring.
The plqce was sparkling clean when we arrived!
We were so excited to see that the living room TV was a roku smart tv and had logged in access already to multiple streaming services like Netflix and Disney+. The private parking was great as condos usually come wity expensive parking and always scouting for a good spot that wont have you carrying groceries far or fighting for a dolley.
We loved it and are hoping to book for next year again!
Highly recommend this gem!
We had a great week at the beach! Went to the pool a couple of days, and went fishing on the rainy day. Close to stores and restaurants. Kids walked to get ice cream and donuts for breakfast. Would rent here again!
This townhouse could not have been better for our week of relaxation. There was plenty of room for spreading out and having space for ourselves. The home was beautiful, the community was well-kept, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was that there were a lot of stairs in this 3-level home, and we are a group of 50+ adults with joint issues, but this is no reflection on the owners or property managers. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to any group with good knees and hips :)
We had a great stay in this home. Just to add to the listing - There are pillows and comforters. All that needs to be supplied are pillow cases and SHEETS. Towels for showering and pool are needed. There was toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags when we arrived. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/plates/cups/silverware. There are a LOT of stairs so keep that in mind when planning. 1st floor has bedroom and bathroom. Second floor living, kitchen, deck, 1/2 bath, third has master with bathroom, two extra bedrooms and a full bath. The closet door in the one bedroom kept coming off the track and we had to fix it. There were a few flies when we got here but they have a fly swatter handy. There was someoneâs bathing suit bottoms hanging on the master bath door handle which was kind of weird. The dishwasher smelled horrible, so we just kept it shut and left everything in there that was there when we arrived. The trash needs to be taken out Sunday by whoever is renting. And the trash can was so full the lid wouldnât close. Recycling only goes out every other week, which a neighbor let us know about since both trash and recycling we put out. It smelled clean when we first got in. Lots of closet space. There are some Books and board games and a wii system with some games, and a smart tv (Netflix and cable). Wifi throughout the house. Coffee pot, toaster, microwave. There is a grill to use. You get a key fob for the pool and two house keys, but only one of our house keys worked. Make sure you contact the realtor before arrival so you know where to go to get the keys since the lady that usually handles the keys wasnât in the office. The coffee pot doesnât fit into the coffee maker so you have to use a spoon to push the dripper up so the coffee comes out into the pot. We did a little mcgeiver and got it to brew without standing there holding the dripper on the machine so it ended up working okay. There was a GIANT hairball my mother in law pulled from the master bathroom when she was trying to collect her hair after she showered. Besides that, it was a good stay. The kids all had their own space and we all fit comfortable without being on top of each other. The pool was a great added bonus and everyone was very friendly. While we enjoyed the house, Iâm not sure we would come back to Delaware - at least not this time of year. We had to get up at 6am to drive to the beach in order to get a good spot set up and find parking.
Overall, very nice stay; great community and easy/smooth check-in process. I would have liked the house to be a bit cleaner though. There were remnants of the previous people who stayed there including hair and left-over bandaids. In the age of COVID, this was particularly troubling. Thankfully, we had brought our own cleaning materials and were able to clean up a bit better.
