Location was good very short drive to downtown. You can walk if you are feeling adventurous. We did one day and while we were tired it was fine. Cute close coffee shop. Having parking on site was a plus! If you are in a bottom unit you can hear the upstairs noise but we didnât have a problem with it and there are sound machines in all the bedrooms. Lots of natural light. Would stay again.
We have stayed on this property multiple times. We love it! Itâs our favorite place to stay in Charleston. I love the set up of this unit with each bedroom having its on bathroom and an addition bathroom. The beds are so comfortable. The pool is nice and warm in December. Highly recommend!
The house was perfect for our group. The management team was very great at communicating before and during my stay. And the location was perfect. So close to a coffee shop and still walking distance to King Street. The pool was also a great little spot to hangout at during the day.
From the moment we set foot entered the property, we knew we had made the right choice! The decor was inviting without being cluttered; the kitchen was well appointed and seating was sufficient for our group. Property managers confirmed in advance our desire for as many twin beds as possible and everything was in place upon arrival. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with the basics (shampoo, body wash, conditioner) and the best part was that each bedroom had its own bathroom w/shower and/or tub! Be sure to bring your bug spray, as the mosquitos are relentless. We could hear the folks above us but the sounds of footsteps didn't interrupt our sleep (there are earplugs readily available in the kitchen, just in case). Property managers were responsive, courteous, and helpful. This location puts you in close proximity to downtown, a short rideshare away. I was a little concerned about the shared pool, but that was no trouble at all: we had the chance to meet our neighbors and cool off at the same time. We highly recommend and look forward to planning our next visit!
Girls trip - three of us - each had own bedroom and own bathroom. Convenient to grab an Uber to go into Market area or walk over to King street for dinner. Upstairs does produce noise when a lot of people there but we didn't mind that.
Great location. Clean. Simple. Comfortable. Anything you could want or need. Incredibly responsive hosts. Walkable to great restaurants. Would 100% stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly designed, three bedroom, four full bath unit in beautiful Charleston. The location was central to all, with the ability to customize our sleeping quarters (we chose three king sized rooms). The unit was clean and new, lol with safe parking in the back of the property, a pool, with plenty of lounge chairs and towels and a dog park in the back which was clean and outfitted with dogie bags. Communications from the property manager were clear and helpful. The management company seemed to have thought of everything, even including sound machines in each bedroom to drown out any noise from aircraft flying overhead, neighbors or a snoring partner! I would definitely stay there again, and would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to plan a trip to the area!
We had a group of 7 guests stay in this unit, and we couldn't believe how comfortably it fits all of us. The unit is very clean and the property manager provides very detailed information beforehand about accessing the unit, pool rules, etc. This listing is also in an excellent location and is very convenient to King Street. I would love to stay in this unit again and would recommend it to anyone staying with a group!
Cute & clean, but would want an upstairs unit next time!
It was such a cute house in a great location! We had a great time staying in a place that could accommodate a group of 8 girls. The only drawbacks were check in time and the noise. We had two different groups staying above us, and if you stay in the bottom unit you can hear EVERYTHING happening upstairs. Kids running around early in the morning, toilets flushing all night, people zipping up suitcases. If you canât sleep through noise, and are looking for a quiet place to stay, definitely do not stay in the bottom unit. Also, they did let us check in an hour early (3pm instead of 4) but that was the earliest we could get in even when we offered to pay more to get in earlier. I understand they had to clean/get the place ready, but if you need to get in earlier itâs not possible here. Overall we enjoyed our time, and everything was very clean, but I would not want to stay in the bottom unit again.
Clean and well-managed property. Great coffee shop across the street (132 Spring), but about a mile to the downtown & historic areas. The pool is smaller and a little less inviting than it looks in the listing picture. Overall a great stay.
Only hangup was the checkin email didn't come through properly. Once I got ahold of host they were very helpful with check-in. Beautiful house that I wish we had more time to enjoy.
We loved our stay in Spring Street 139A. It was perfect for a multi family getaway. The unit was exactly what it said it would be. It was very clean, updated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The only recommendation would be some extra linens without having to wash a load of towels after each use. Would highly recommend staying at this location!
We loved our trip to Charleston and staying at the Dewees! It was super clean and well stocked with the things we needed for our stay (dish soap, trash bags, towels, shampoo, etc.) The neighborhood is nice and walkable in its own right and a short 8 minute drive to the main downtown/waterfront area and we easily drove back and forth to relax between seeing the sights. While the walls are a little thin and we heard the pattering of feet in the unit above, people were respectful of the quiet hours and I had no issues. Most importantly, the pool was fantastic and so nice to have on vacation with the family. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
Our family had an amazing stay at this wonderful property in beautiful Charleston. The house was clean and appears very newly renovated with all of the modern conveniences. Private bathroom for each room (plus an extra) was awesome, kitchen was great, and the pool made it over the top. Our kids loved swimming all afternoon. Thank you for a vacation we will never forget!
Property is pretty and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and linens/beds comfortable. Major drawback is the lack of decent insulation from noise. The tenants upstairs had children and multiple dogs, which made internal noise level excessive and intrusive.
