I was very impressed with the whole process. Communication with the owner was fantastic - prompt, friendly responses to questions, and everything I needed to know regarding arrival and departure. The cabinet itself was very clean. There were plenty of utensils and other cooking tools available, but I didn’t use most of them. Nashville is only a few miles away so quick trips to the grocery store or drug store were no problem. I loved the experience from beginning to end and I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Cozy cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was remote enough that there was plenty of peace and quiet but close enough to Nashville that we could pop over there for a meal or to check out the shops. Also close to several hiking spots. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute cabin on a quiet hillside

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It was a relaxing place to stay. The only constructive criticism (and it’s minor) that I have is that a keypad door lock would streamline things. Would stay again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and as much as we do understand the convenience of key pads, but with 104 cabins in the area, the one thing we are always sure of is your key will work, without the worry of dead batteries. We hope you will come back and stay with us again soon.

Location, Location, Location…

Couldn’t ask for a better location - loved it!! From reservation to check-out, our experience was fantastic. The cabin exudes charm and warmth, providing all the amenities for a comfortable getaway. The management team was accommodating and responsive. We'll certainly be booking with them again!

Nashville Indiana

Stayed three nights and the cabin was clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The grass was too high to enjoy the yard, probably not the cabins fault, it had rained a few days prior to arrival. They need to replace coffee maker, overall it was ok.

Night owl cabin

Only bummer was fire place did not work. But they did call us before so that was great. So we knew before we got there. Other than that it was a great, peaceful getway for us

Relaxing Getaway

Even with COVID the experience of renting a place was easy. The company worked very hard to make the experience contact-less and set great expectations from the beginning regarding social distancing, making safe choices, and still enjoying Nashville, IN. The property was very clean and well mantained and the amenities were even nicer than expected. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it looked awesome. The town was fun and we had a lovely time.

Thank You

The cabin was nice and welcoming. The only problem was Ants in the sink, We were only left 1 roll of paper towels and it was not half full so of course we ran out, they want the dishes washed and put away BUT left very little dish soap. If you do not have a dishwasher then I feel you should provide the necessary items to clean them. The issues were minor and definitely did not ruin our stay. We had a lot of fun.

We are very glad you enjoyed the Night Owl Log Cabin. We do try to send you tons!!!!! of information but evidently the check in information link we mentioned to you, with not only all our check in procedures, but also the general list of what is provided and what to bring somehow was missed. The items you mentioned were on the list of what to bring. We know we are different than a typical VRBO, but we do try to make sure through all our emails that our guest are informed as to their needs. We are glad you had such a great stay and will come back again soon.

Night owl family weekend

We had a great time, very spacious. We were bummed the hot tub was not working properly, the temp of the water was in the 70’s we called early Sunday morning to let them know but even after someone came out to look at it the temp never got hotter. We are not a picky family but the kids were sure looking forward to the hot tub. We were also aware the cabin is pet friendly we have pets but did not bring them with us. When we arrived there were a few dog turds next to the couch on the floor. Nothing to ruin our weekend over but really wish that hot tub would have worked. That was one of the reasons we booked this cabin.

It was a fantastic stay! When we first arrived, the cabin had a slight old smell (to be expected in an old cabin!) but as soon as we ran the AC, it was gone. Our family loved the location and amenities. We were very comfortable sleeping and relaxing. Our kids loved the WiFi speed and tv, and our dog loved everything! We will be back!
