Notre condominium de 2 chambres à coucher et 2 salles de bain se trouve au 16ème étage d'un gratte-ciel moderne avec un lobby spacieux et sécurisé, un accès wifi et un bureau de sécurité 24h / 24. Il est situé dans le centre-ville de Santiago, à l'intersection des rues Catedral et Teatinos, à 3 pâtés de maisons de deux stations de métro (ligne 5, ligne verte) et à quelques pas de la plupart des monuments du centre-ville. musées, ainsi que la célèbre rue commerçante piétonne, La Ahumada. C'est proche de l'Universidad de Chile. Les stations de métro à proximité sont SANTA ANA et PLAZA DE ARMAS - notre appartement est entre les deux. (Une carte du système étendu Santiago Metro est trouvée sur Wikipedia et dans les guides et cartes dans l'appartement.) Nous sommes seulement 1-2 arrêts (pas de transferts) du Musée Bellas Artes et sa magnifique collection. Sur notre ligne de métro (ligne 5), vous pouvez voyager directement à la Florida Mall Plaza (un des plus grands dans la ville) et à la Bodega / Winery de Santa Carolina (4ème au Chili et l'un des plus historique).

Notre appartement a des cartes, des brochures et des idées pour tirer le meilleur parti de votre visite au Chili, y compris une carte routière du pays (pour que vous emprunter pendant que vous êtes ici). Notre cuisine a quelques agrafes, comme le café, le sel / poivre, le thé, les pâtes et autres aliments non périssables, de sorte que vous ne trouvez pas un garde-manger vide avant de trouver les magasins. Il y a des mini-marchés juste en bas sur le coin et deux épiceries complètes dans les 3 blocs. Il y a un joli spa avec salle de gym et piscine au Gran Palace Hotel, également à environ 3 pâtés de maisons (10 $ par visite, environ 115 $ par mois, y compris les serviettes, casier, sauna).

De notre balcon du 16ème étage, vous avez une vue sur la ville et les montagnes enneigées des Andes.

Tout dans l'appartement est en bon état, y compris la vaisselle, des ustensiles de cuisine, draps, serviettes, et les meubles. Il y a un grand canapé dans le salon et deux chaises en cuir contemporain, et la salle à manger peut accueillir six personnes. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et les deux ont des rideaux occultants (nouveau en 2018). La chambre principale a une porte coulissante sur le balcon. Il y a une zone de bureau à domicile séparée avec un espace de travail pour votre ordinateur et une connexion Wi-Fi haut débit. (WiFi est également disponible gratuitement dans le hall de l'édifice et il ya des cafés Internet à bas prix dans toute la ville.)

La cuisine traditionnelle chilienne dispose d'un coin salon et d'un balcon extérieur (appelé loggia) avec une nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse électrique LG (2017), un lavabo et un espace de rangement - sa fenêtre s'ouvre sur l'extérieur pour l'air frais. Il y a aussi une buanderie communautaire au niveau du penthouse du 25e étage (jetons requis, disponible dans la buanderie).

Hugo and his brother Patricio are great hosts. They even brought us wine as a gift! The condo has a doorman so feels very secure. The condo itself has everything you would need. We appreciated having the second bathroom which is hard to find. There is a lovely bakery and deli 2 doors down.

Outstanding host and property

Beyond the fact that the apartment is wonderful, sparkling clean, and in a great central location (loved all the wonderful pedestrian walkways and markets), what REALLY set this apart was the support and responsiveness of Hugo, the owner. We ended up having a medisl issue, requiring a trip to a local clinic. Reached out to Hugo for advice, and he called immediately to ensure we were oksy, gave us a referral to a wonderfu private clinic, and offered to have his brother come over to assist. Thank you!!!

Beautiful Apartment managed by a gracious host

Over the years, I have stayed in numerous rental properties. This might be my best experience yet. I used to live in Santiago years ago, and I went back for two weeks to visit friends during which time I stayed here. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could need (especially in the kitchen). The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the view from the balcony of the cordillera (Andes) is wonderful. Given the length of my stay, it was great that there is a washer and dryer which both worked well. The building has a person 24 hours at the front desk which makes the building safe and secure. And the location of the building, right in the heart of downtown and a short walk from the Plaza de Armas, the historic center of Santiago, puts you within easy reach of all the sites. There is also easy access to multiple Metro stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place is perfect! Last but not least, the host, Hugo Silva who lives in the United States, was extremely responsive, gracious, and accommodating. We spoke on the phone. He answered all of my questions. One of his family members who lives in Santiago was there to meet me on check in day, give me the keys, and show me how everything worked. Hugo even checked in on me upon my arrival to make sure everything went smoothly. From beginning to end, Hugo made the experience stress-free and easy to navigate. The whole experience was extraordinary.

Santiago in April 2023

From the moment our booking was accepted, Hugo was making sure all of our questions were answered. He provided tips about the local restaurants and grocers so we were able to hit the ground running. Santiago is a big city with many neighborhoods worth exploring. This location is perfect to discover the beginning of the capital of Chile. Just 3.5 blocks from the apartment is the plaza where it all began in 1541. Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, features the cathedral, a historical museum, a beautiful park with fountains and statuary. Additionally, it is a station to the subway, along with Santa Anna, 2 blocks the opposite direction from the apartment. Using the subway, you can be almost anywhere in the city within 30 minutes. Two nice grocery stores within two blocks, cafes restaurants, currency exchanges within walking distance make this a great starting place for discovering Santiago. This is a place where people live and work so you can get a real feel of life in this great Chilean city. If you want to explore further, the nearby subway stations can connect (under $1.00 per ride) you to inexpensive buses (under $10.00 each way) to take you to the agricultural/wine valleys of Casablanca or Colchagua or even all the way to the coast where you find the beach town of Vina del Mar or the port city of Valporaiso. All within 1.5 hours. The owner's brother and nephew live and work nearby. They met us when we arrived and were very responsive to questions that arose. The unit was secure, very comfortable, very clean and met our needs admirably.

Wonderful apartment overlooking the city with mountain view, located in a great neighborhood!

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed spending a week in this well-located, artfully decorated apartment in downtown Santiago. We were walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants and public transportation. The hosts were very accommodating and treated us so well before and during our visit, making our stay extra special and comfortable. The unit is located within a secure high rise with 24-hour security at the front desk. The views of the mountains at sunset and sunrise from the balcony are spectacular! We highly recommend staying here.

A very successful stay!

Hugo and his brothers were incomparable in their welcome, their availability and their kindness. The apartment is very comfortable, very well equipped and strategically located in the city center close to public transport. He is very safe and a guard is on duty at the entrance. Two grocery stores are within a 5-minute walk. The terrace allows you to enjoy the view of the Andes. We enjoyed our one month stay in Santiago largely because of the comfort of the apartment. We highly recommend this apartment.

Very nice apartment in the center of town incredible owner!

We just spent a week visiting our daughter who is taking a semester abroud in Santiago and we could not have had a better stay. Hugo, the owner was incredibly helpful before we got there and his brother Patricio took really good care of us while we were there. I rarely give a 5 star rating but I do so for this property without hesitation.

Great space, location and host

We spent a week at this condo in July 2018. The host was very responsive and helpful before, during and after our stay. It is a good downtown location, close to everything, including a metro stop a few blocks away. The condo is well furnished and equipped. We hope to be back some day!

Apartment has everything you need and is centrally located. Host left a bottle of wine which was a gracious touch. Convenient to many local universities which was important to us, and just a few blocks to metro stations to get around the city.

Great apartment in an excellent location

Two couples stayed here for a week in July. The condo is exactly as advertised, with all the amenities that one could want. Located in easy walking distance to tourist destinations, museums, restaurants, markets and metro. Our host Hugo and his sister Theresa were wonderful.

Balcony Breezes Over Santiago

My friend and I stayed a week at this lovely apartment on the sixteenth floor, and each evening, we had cocktails on the balcony because it was just the right temperature and the right noise level. We enjoyed having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms so that we each had privacy. We had everything we needed, even a hair dryer, which saved space in our suitcases! The Internet was perfect and allowed us to stay in contact with people at home, and having Netflix was something we didn't expect. We were so busy though that we only watched it once. We felt very safe because a concierge was always on duty and buzzed us in. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. We liked being able to walk a block to a grocery store, and a half a block to a bakery. There is even a Starbucks about three blocks away that we didn't use, but was available. We often walked to dinner and then took a taxi back to the apartment because the taxi fares are very reasonable, and the restaurants will call the taxi for you, which makes it easier. I would recommend this apartment because it is clean, the location is convenient, the price is very reasonable and the owner is very responsive. He even kept in contact while we were there by email to see if we needed anything, or had questions. Enjoy your time in Santiago...it is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Highly Recommend-Central Location of Home

My husband & I spent the month of February in this apartment . It's a perfect location for exploring Santiago on foot or by metro. We jogged a mile each morning to Parque Forestal, running past the historic Ex Congreso Nacional, Plaza de Armas, and the cathedral--toward Cerro Santa Lucia and the charming Barrio Paris-Londres. When we chose to explore the glitzy north-eastern neighborhoods of Barrio El Golf and Barrio Vitacura the metro was a quick 10 minute walk. The apartment is well served with grocery stores, pharmacy, cafes, and restaurants. The 16th floor allows for cool breezes even in the height of summer. And the balcony offers spectacular views of both the city and the Andes. We would definitely rent this apartment again. The landlord was especially accommodating and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, providing all the comforts of home.

Great Place to stay

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for the month of January. It is centrally located in downtown Santiago only a short walk to a metro station and the shopping area. Being located on the 16th floor allowed for cool breezes in the heat of the day. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The access to the laundry facilities in the building made it very convenient to do our wash. The owners family lives in the building and is available if we needed anything. I would recommend this rental to any travelers.

The apartment was perfect for exploring Santiago. It was close to everything, Plaza des Aramas, Central Market, Metro, restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay

Apartment is in a great location in downtown Santiago, three blocks from the City Center. My niece and I spent two weeks taking Spanish lessons in Barrio Brazil, and could walk to class each day. It was also close to a metro stop which made for easy and convenient travel thoughout the city. Apartment was very modern, comfortable and secure. WiFi was a plus. We would highly recommend it for your stay in Santiago.

Great Accomodations

This was our second trip to Santiago and these accommodations were perfect for us. Just three blocks from the Plaza de Armas with its main post office, metropolitan cathedral and lots of shopping. The metro is less than two blocks away and a Santa Isabel grocery is three blocks. The apartment was as advertised; clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The view from the balcony was nice but the view from the laundry room on the top floor was excellent. For our next trip to Santiago this will be top on our list.

American couple (Chile-born husband) owns and manages this well-cared-for Santiago getaway and welcomes mature guests who will treat the property and our neighbors with respect. We love visiting the wineries around Santiago, the endless museums and the great restaurants.

Great downtown location, close to the Cathedral, La Moneda, the Bellas Artes museum and the pedestrian zone. Here, you won't need a car because you can walk to the Metro and see what people come to Santiago to see!

24-hour attended front desk, washer/dryer in the apartment, cable TV, high-speed wifi, all maps and guidebooks are provided, spacious closets and modern kitchen and baths. You'll find all the necessary amenities here that other vacation rentals don't include, like extra towels and pillows, basic food items in the pantry, toilet paper and toiletries, CDs, games, and air-conditioning in the master bedroom (which is rare in Santiago apartments).
