Beautiful studio cottage. Private property, fully gated and secured. Back patio overlooking grounds with access to fire pit. Two beautiful serene lakes. Bring the horses there are short term daily rate stalls available through Stables by the sea as well... check us out on Facebook for daily or short term pricing. Pets welcome on case by case with additional fees

Guests are welcome to roam the property and check out the horses and various animals on site. We ask you do not feed or touch them without owner being there! For your safety and comfort and that of the animals.

Feel free to walk the property, whether to relax by the lake, sit outside, star gaze after dark, Stables by the sea has a gorgeous moonlight not touched by the city where you can see a smattering of stars at night!! Download an app and see what you can find. Have a fire, fish in our fully stocked lake, watch a sunrise or sunset both of which are amazing on the farm!

I live on site and I am available throughout your stay to make suggestions and arrange anything you may need.

Stables by the sea is close to everything. Restaurants, bars, swanky farm dinners, zoo, conservation areas even lion safari.

We’re close to Rosemary Place, Palm Beach Island and more...

Nice, reasonably priced stay!

A nice property for an individual or a couple, with plenty of room in there! It was perfectly clean, and had a decent kitchen set up with big fridge and washer/dryer.Just a couple of amenities like hairdryer and iron/ironing board missing.Lovely quiet plot behind secured gates which was nice when travelling solo. Location about 15-20 mins to Wellington depending on traffic.I would say it is quite simple/basic, but perfectly good value for money compared to most others in the area! Would happily stay again.Thanks for having me.

You won’t find a better landlord than Gina.

The property itself is gorgeous! I saw bunnies, peacocks, horses, and iguanas just living their best lives! Oh and the sweetest dog that walks around with the daughter when she’s watering plants and such. The smaller cottage is a studio style, but quite large and had everything I needed to stay for many months. The ac works perfectly, the humidity is nice and low, streaming services available, and listed accurately. They are on well water, and what feels like a water softener, so my hair and skin has been super soft after every shower! Touch of blow dry, ac cooled before leaving, and the humidity hasn’t been able to mess up my hair till it’s due to wash again.They have a feel team managing the farm and rentals, if you ever have a question, Gina knows pretty much everything, is responsive, and puts you in contact with members of her team for any technical specifications your interested in.10/10, very safe, 100% will be back. Thank you Gina for all you’ve been for me!

Plumbing was an issue

Toilet wouldn’t flush, when I asked for resolution (after 24 hours without a bathroom) owner moved me to a different unit. Second unit had a very bad odor. No toilet paper or paper towels supplied. Just not a great experience. Would not recommend.

Hi Jamie, It’s unfortunate your stay wasn’t so great. Unfortunately you stayed during the tropical storm. When we got the message about the toilet not flushing it would not have been safe to come outside. Unfortunately during 55 mile an hour winds we needed to wait out the storm. We were also under a tornado watch for much of the time you had the issues. We cannot put life at risk to be outside. The odor in the second unit was due to the property being utterly flooded and the septic system being under water. These are the issues that can happen during a storm. We did try our very best to keep you happy and we’re willing at all times to call VRBO so that we could move you to a hotel. Gina

Bad Experience

Pros: Great location and cozy atmosphere. Cons: Unit wasn’t ready upon arrival, owner had us wait outside for 25 minutes while she quickly cleaned unit & put linens on bedding. Not enough paper products/hand soap for extended stay. Unit had a partial roll of toilet paper, no hand soap, no paper towels. We had to request toilet paper twice before we were supplied with any. Difficult check in process Gate code that was provided didn’t work. Owner claimed it was negligence on VRBO website however she’s the one who supplied the information to me. Sprinklers sprayed directly into unit while checking in & on several occasions soaking us & the unit. Dogs left outside so barked late when anyone arrived late and throughout the night. Kitchen is VERY basically stocked with essentials. The host wasn’t very responsive on several issues and made excuses when she did respond.

I am born Canadian and have been in the industry of horses all my life. It has been a life long dream for me to own an equestrian property. The B&B portion of it was just fate. Through the equestrian world of seasonal rentals I was introduced to hosting guests of the two legged kind and I really fell in love. I am naturally a social person and I love having company on the farm. This place is so unique and beautiful that I felt called to share it. Slowly through guests coming and staying with their animal friends I began to offer more and more.. Before I knew It I was running a full fledged urban farm, equestrian b&b, therapeutic center and sanctuary.. Life brings us to exactly where we should be... In the strangest ways...

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property has not only stunning sun rises and stunning sun sets. It is set afar from the road and is completely private. The Farm is completely serene and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, five minutes outside of said city. Relax, kick back by the fire, fish in the lakes, walk the pathways and trails and enjoy the animals all around the farm. Hang out with the other guests. Enjoy fresh farmed organically grown food or stay to yourselves. Either way you will fall in love with the place.

The farm is a ten acre slice of heaven. There are walking trails all around the property, two unique lakes for fishing, fire pits to relax and enjoy a fire during the winter months. Multiple patio areas, barbecue areas, many different animals, chickens and farm fresh eggs, micro greens and hydroponic vegetables grown with all organic materials and available for guests. Unique learning opportunities on farm to table growing. Ten minutes to shopping, food and entertainment.
