A fun, spacious place to stay

We liked the theme and the nice touches throughout the apartment. The building is cool. I liked the little town. We had a great time. I recommend it.

Unique stay

The Mario themed apartment and castle building were the reasons we booked this place. Our 6 & 9 year old loved the Mario decorations and bunk bed. The place was clean and the owners were wonderful at communicating. The downside of this place is the castle is not well marked with signs. The apartment is on the 11th floor. Parking on the 1st floor on the opposite side from the apartment. It makes it challenging to bring 4 peoples worth of luggage and groceries to the apartment. Also, we are newbies to Nintendo switch and there wasn’t an information guide for how to use the system. The owners tried to help through text but we were unable to figure it out so that was quite disappointing for the kids. Also, the publicized game room is on the 8th floor along with the library. We had to ask residents to find that information. The castle stuff is not available on weekends. They ask you to check out ping pong paddles etc for the game room. Well, that’s not possible since the staff is not available on weekends. Also, understandably the residents unplug the electronic games so they can’t hear the noises in their rooms. Makes it uncomfortable to play bc you know they are annoyed. The pool is located across the other side of the parking lot. Many of the halls of the castle smell musty, nothing the owners can do about that. Overall, the apartment was wonderful. Hosts communicated well. But, it would have been nice to know in advance that there wasn’t a guide on how to use the switch.

A fun place to stay

Great for NYE

Stayed on NYE, perfect as we went to the Griffin's game. Locations is about 10 minutes from the arean and downtown.

Fun

I was able to get photo ops which is always fun. Close to many shops and restaurants. Had your own parking spot in the garage. Only down sides were Roku was the only streaming service and it was an apartment building so the walls were a little thin. I could hear a dog barking in another unit and people moving around above me. Not the fault of the owners, just apartment life.

Good Clean Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The cleanliness of any property is really important. This place delivered! It also felt very homey. The washer and dryer had me bringing home suitcases of only clean clothes.

Great family weekend

Really enjoyed the property. Unfortunately, we couldn't access any of the Nintendo games, but did have fun using the game room, the pool, the library. Beautiful building.

Nice and easy!

My husband and daughter were in Grandville for a week long basketball camp. They were so happy to have such a nice, relaxing play to stay between sessions as opposed to a small hotel room. They raved about the amount of space and the amenities. My husband enjoyed the workout room and my daughter enjoyed the gaming chairs that she used for playing the xbox she took with her (sorry, Nintendo.) :-) Mitten Housing was great in communication, always quick to respond. While it was communicated, one thing that surprised us was the early (10am) checkout on the last day. There are options to extend it, but please be aware of that when booking and making your travel plans. Thanks Mitten Housing!

Thank you for a great stay. The kids loved the theme. And the Nintendo Switch was great for playing games with cousins while they visited.This apartment has everything you need besides food and clothes. Having a washing machine came in handy to wash swim suits and towels to get them ready for the next day. The pool, loved it. The shallow end for kids was great for the two babies that went went swimming. With the kitchen having all the untensils, cooking, and baking pans, I was able to make meals instead of eating out every meal. It was very clean and I will definitely be staying with this host again in the future.

Excellent property and great host

The property is exactly what you see in the pictures except even more amenities than I would have expected. The host goes above and beyond and was extremely quick to respond any time I had a question. Our kids loved the theming and there is so much space. The location is also in a lowe traffic area right off the interstate. I highly recommend.

Loved the place

Children stayed playing the games they offer in the kids room. My fiance and I truly enjoy relaxing and doing nothing lol. Only 20 minutes from cannonsburg where we went sledding. It was perfect.
