Escape to "Cardinal Cottage" in the Country with AMAZING Sunsets

3 room Casita (entertainment room, bedroom, and bathroom), with access to pavilion and deck with views of Lake Belton that provide beautiful sunsets. POOL COMING SOON.

Your stay will allow you to escape from city into the country, but have access to city amenities. Watch large screen streaming TV on the Pavilion or in entertaining area of the Casita. On request, we will make available, Traeger smoker, gas grill, or two burner Induction stove. Inside your room, there is small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. We want your visit with us to be an opportunity to escape the city (like we have) and enjoy the country. We have installed a 14" gel and foam queen size mattress on an adjustable bed so that you can sleep like you are in heaven. The family room sofa offers a pull out gel mattress, but we offer a queen size memory foam tri-fold mattress that greatly improves the comfort level.

There is a rough trail from our property to the bottom of lake. We are told there is great fishing, but since we don't fish I can only relay what we've been told from guides. During your stay, you are likely to see deer grazing on the property as you enter or leave. There are many varieties of birds including a lot of Cardinals as Belinda puts out bird seed almost every day. She keeps seed down in the pavilion so that you can put some out while you sip your morning coffee. You might even see the roadrunners running along the driveway or near the trail in search of their mate or food.

* The Cardinal Cottage can accommodate four guest during a stay, but it is really designed more for one couple. Walking through the front door will put you in the entertaining room where the sofa will pullout to a queen size bed. You'll walk through a doorway that can be closed with barn doors to the bedroom. The bedroom provides the only access to the bathroom.
* The Cardinal Cottage, pavilion, and deck are on my private property. No one other than my wife and I have access to the pavilion and deck – and while we have guest, we try not to intrude on your privacy other than sometimes asking you to share a glass of wine with us during a sunset. The Cardinal Cottage is a building by itself on my property.
