SUNRISE ON MAG - Beach House

SUNRISE ON MAG - Beach House is a water front home with spectacular views of Sunrises, Sunsets, wildlife and ships passing through, it also has front seat view of parades and firework displays during Holidays. Great destination to have fun fishing at the bay, preparing meals on our well equipped kitchen, enjoy movie nights streaming with our fiber internet and have a great night sleep on our super comfy beds.

Recently renovated bay front home, beautifully furnished to provide a comfortable home feel experience to our guest.

Easy access to the bay only 100 steps to shore, 1 mile to free boat ramp, 1/2 mile to public beach and steps to public pier.

On Check in Day, once the space is ready for your group, we will contact you with access codes to open Entrance Gate and Exterior doors.

My husband and I live next door to the house and will be happy to assist if you need anything during your stay.

The beauty of Magnolia Beach ("Mag" called by locals) is to come enjoy the outdoors. It has incredible viewings of wildlife with more than 400 species of birds identified in the area. Great areas to fish, kayak, go biking along the coast line or to just spend your day at the beach. Sunrise and Sunsets are spectacular.

Driving down Ocean Drive will give you a sense of being in a peninsula with the Bay on one side and Marsh Land and Bayous on the other side. This is a true disconnect type of place, so even though is ideal for fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, biking, birding you will need to bring your gear.

This area is loaded with 1700s Texas History since the most important port at the moment was in Indianola. Many German Immigrants came through this port. The port was destroyed by several Hurricanes in the 1800s. You can still drive by the ruins of the Court House of the growing town that once was.

Our house is walking distance to the public pier, 1 mile to the crabbing bridge and about 1 mile to the free boat ramp. You will need to have a vehicle to go to restaurants and shops.

-Bring food and condiments to prepare meals as most restaurants are 15 to 30 minutes away.
-Bring water shoes to walk on the beach, our beach is a shelly beach.
-Bring mosquito repellent and sunblock.
-There is plenty of parking space to bring your boat, Golf carts, kayaks, bikes or other toys. Currently there are no nearby places to rent big toys like this, so if you've got them, bring them. Four Wheelers are NOT allowed on the beach.
-We are walking distance to the public pier, the House does not have a private pier.
Must be 23 years or older to be able to book the property. Must send a picture of a valid ID directly to host. Host will not give access to the guest without having received ID.

Having more guests than what the reservation was made for is a violation to the Reservation agreement and House Rules, charges of $75/per additional person per night will be assessed or immediate termination of your stay and there will be NO refund.

No smoking of ANY kind in the house or near doors. If smell or burnt marks are found in the property, host will seek a $500 cleaning fee plus any additional costs of replacing the damaged property.

Smoking Marijuana on the property grounds will result in immediate termination of guests stay without refund.

We have no tolerance for criminal behavior. Any illegal activities, acts of violence, loud arguments or fighting will result in immediate termination of your stay and there will be no refund. The same is true if the police is called to the unit.

The space will be in clean and working condition. No compensation will be given for non-working items outside the owner's control, including but not limited to: power outages, internet outages, etc. For items inside the owner's control, owner will make every attempt to rectify any problems that may occur. It is Guest's responsibility to notify the owner IMMEDIATELY if there are any problems and allow owner to rectify the issue. No refunds or other compensations will be given for problems owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame or if the issue was notified to the owner after the guest stay ended.

Guests will be responsible for costs of any repairs for problems caused by actions of Guest or any one in their group.

NO PETS allowed. Host will ask guests to remove the pet from the property for the duration of their stay. Pet penalty of $250.00 will be assessed to be paid immediately to the Host and/or guest may be asked to leave the property without refund.

Check-In is at 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Time before Check-In or after Check-Out can only be arranged the night before. In the case that extra hours are approved, guests agree to pay $30 per extra hour. Payment must be received by Host before the additional time can be in effect.

NO parking in front of the grounds dumpster. The Ground dumpster is a commercial black dumpster between Sunrise on Mag - Beach House (Multilevel House) and the 6 RV spots on the side (Sunrise on Mag-RV Park).

Do not dispose of fish carcasses at the grounds dumpster. Clean fish by the bay and feed fish/birds in the water with carcasses.

Quiet hours are from 11 PM - 9 AM. This rule does not apply during Holidays such as Independence Day or New Year’s Eve, the whole community will be celebrating.

Guest and guest's invitees shall fully defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owners, managers and business entity acting on behalf of the owners from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief, personal injury and/or wrongful death) for the use of the property as vacation home, amenities, facilities, grounds, fishing pier and/or equipment provided (such as but not limited to bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, beach chairs etc.) used during guests stay while on our property or outside of our property. The indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgements, awards, decrees, attorneys' fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by it.

Family fun weekend
This house is beautiful. Very well equipped. The views are great. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Fishing was just feet away. Shells were everywhere. This area is quite and not crowded. Air conditioner was great. Hammock and swing on the upper deck. Lots of seating on lower deck. If you're looking for a quite place to hang out with family and friends this is the best place. So close to the water. The hosts are very sweet and kind. I can't say enough about this house and it's hosts.

Hello Friends to meet! I am originally from Puerto Rico and my husband grew up in Corpus Christi. We love meeting people, cultures, food and being in nature. I am usually drawn to the water, sunrise and sunsets. My husband well... he is an amazing fisherman and hunter (among many other talents). We are both laid back and very spontaneous, specially with our travels. Hope to meet you soon, it will be fun!

There are great areas to kayak, go biking along the coast line, go fishing on foot or on a boat or if you just want to spend your day at the beach bring your water shoes because the sand is mainly tiny shells or crushed shells. Driving down Ocean Drive will give you a sense of being in a peninsula with the Bay on one side and Wetlands and Bayous on the other side. This is a true disconnect type of place, so even though is ideal for fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, biking, birding and so on you will need to bring your gear.

If you like cheesy souvenir shops and generic touristy things, this is NOT the place for you. Come to truly enjoy the outdoors: Go bathe at the beach, go fishing, go Crabbing, catch your own shrimp, do your own seafood boil or grill them at night time but come to do, not to watch. If fishing is not for you, then... bring your cameras to capture the amazing birds that hang around, the Shrimp Boats that are on the bay every morning, the sunrise/sunset or the funny things our locals come up with. Your images will look like National Geographic Photos taken by no other than yourself on your own Texas Gulf Coast - Nature Adventure. It's a special place for the Nature lover, come savor it, come enjoy it.

We might not meet personally, but our House Manager lives on property grounds only few steps from the house. She is friendly, observant of our guests needs, knowledgeable of the area and will always try to assist through guest stay.
