Élégante maison avec cinq cheminées (de brûlure d'un bois dans den) avec des manteaux en marbre et belle piscine chauffée gunite (20X40). La piscine est chauffée et ouverte Avril à la mi Octobre. Situé à environ 1/2 heure de Notre-Dame. A une grande salle grande et belle formelle salle à manger séparée avec sol en pierre. Portes françaises regardant en arrière à la piscine et le jardin. Marque de nouveaux planchers de cerisier et d'armoires de cuisine. Assis sur demi-acre de terrain avec terrasse arrière, une clôture de protection et un joli jardin. Animaux acceptés. Sonorisé partout avec haut-parleurs extérieurs. Ordinateur et 4 de TV One ch au 1er étage. Deux blocs de la plage privée. Laveuse / sécheuse. Proche de restaurants commerciaux. 90 min. de Chicago.

Stunning and Luxurious Beach Home

I loved staying at this house! It is such a beautiful place with tons of natural light, a gorgeous yard and pool, a cozy tv room, plenty of beds and really nice, original touches. It is so close to the beach and to the shops and restaurants, but it also feels like a get away. Everything is up-to-date and the house was perfect for our weekend away!

Union Pier Getaway

The weather was great, and the owner asked if we wanted to use the pool. We appreciated the owner asking and being flexible late in the season. The pool was perfect with temps in the 70s. The house had great views of the changing leaves in mid-Oct. A very comfortable house just a couple blocks from hte beach. We would definitely stay there again.

BEWARE!!

We visit New Buffalo area every year in the fall to meet up with friends and enjoy a ND football game. This is by far the worst house we have rented. We showed up and the "cleaning people" were still there. Not sure what they did, as the house was still dirty. We killed 25+ stink bugs in the master bedroom. No one used that room during our visit. The owner sent a friend over to spray the bedroom.... There was only one bar stool in the kitchen, also a weird table with 2 chairs tucked up to the counter. The ice maker in the kitchen did not work, the garbage drawer did not stay closed-always open, the fireplaces would not light, there was a terrible stench in the entry coat closet, the kitchen cabinets and drawers were in disarray, there were drips on the drawers and no instructions on the house-except a duck taped wi-fi code inside a pantry door. The garage was FULL of broken, discarded furniture-at least one bar stool from the kitchen, no room for a car. The backyard is nice, but the front yard is nothing to speak of. The wood is rotting on the outside of the house and paint is pealing. Please look at the review on August 12, very accurate. We travel all over the world and have used VRBO and have always been happy with the rentals, until now

Outstanding amenities and cooperative host. Held six separate parties with various groups and all were impressed with the house amenities including the heated pool.

Exactly What We Needed

After a few months of shelter in place, remote working and virtual school we all needed to get away. Luckily we were able to book this place on short notice and it was perfect for us. Thanks to the pool and yard, we barely left the house but the location was great for when we wanted to hit the beach or grab a meal out.

Beautiful home. Wonderful location

We have been coming to Union Pier for years and this is our favorite house. The house is beautiful. The outdoor area and pool are perfect for kids and entertaining. The homeowner is wonderful to work with We love it and will come again.

Beautiful home with multiple fireplaces and pool!

We rented this house for a long girls weekend and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful, spacious and decorated with a casual sophistication. The large front room was very light and we enjoyed several cozy conversations in front of the fire. The two-sided fireplace also allows for relaxing dinners in the lovely adjoining dining room. The bedrooms were large, two with private bathrooms and three with gas fireplaces (the house has five fireplaces in all). Unfortunately, it was too cold to take advantage of the large pool in the backyard but we did take the short walk to the beach several times to enjoy the view. The house is a short drive to several surrounding restaurants, shops and antique stores so we were in heaven! All in all, a wonderful house for a get away…can’t wait to come back to enjoy the pool in summer!

Comfortable home with awesome pool!

Beautiful long fall weekend at this comfy home. Backyard trees were ablaze with color and the roar of the lake waves could be heard while sitting on the attractive back patio with pool lights adding to atmosphere each evening. Our group used three of the four bedrooms and all were attractively decorated and very clean. We loved the openness of the great room and the oversized elegant dining room. We will definitely be back next fall.

BEAUTIFUL home!!! THIS IS A MUST STAY!!!

This home is gorgeous!! PLENTY of space and was very well- maintained. Gorgeous two way fireplace in the living room which leads into the dining room. This vacation home is just the right place, whether you are getting away for the fall/winter or enjoying the sun by the massive in ground pool in this homes backyard. The home is a close walk to the beach. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this house for a getaway in Pure Michigan.

Casual Elegance

My friends and I enjoyed a fantastic fall getaway at this beautiful home this past weekend, it was the perfect retreat! Five fireplaces and an uber elegant design scheme make this home quite the idyllic setting! The large bright great room and attached formal dining room is the perfect place to gather with groups. The surround sound speakers are such a nice feature! I look forward to returning to this lovely home!!

Elegant Summer Retreat

The Hedges had everything to make a great vacation stay. The gorgeous dining room opens up to a beautiful large pool. It was great to sit by the pool at night with the pool light on and see the sun setting in the distance. Close access to a beautiful beach and near many shops and restaurants. Beautifully appointed but cozy at the same time. Even used one of the fireplace one evening.

Beautiful home

Beautiful vacation house! We had great NYE weekend at this home. The rooms are big, well decorated; the open layout of the kitchen and living room is perfect for big parties. We loved how the fireplace separates the living and the dining room. There were fireplaces in almost every room. The bedrooms are so nice and the master bedroom in blue is so relaxing. The den has big TV and entertaining system that connect the sound in many rooms. The build in speakers are controlled individually in each room and even outside. We found everything we needed for our stay and the owner let us come and leave anytime we want. That was so awesome, we didn’t have to rush to wake up early in the morning! I will come back at this house anytime!

Relaxing getaway

This home home is elegant and spacious - perfect for relaxing getaway.The home is filled with natural light and the view of the pool (heated!) and backyard is spectacular. The decor is unique and tasteful, not the usual Pottery Barn look we find in many of the homes we rent. We loved the fact that we could bring our dog and that the home was kid friendly. The owner was gracious and helpful and the location is ideal.Just a few minutes walk down to the beach with great restaurants and antique shops nearby. We highly recommend this home and look forward to returning!

Beautiful House, Helpful Owner

This was a quick two-day getaway, but I have also rented in the summer and it has been a great spot for my family. Nice big pool and plenty of room for everybody. Owner was quick to respond to questions and concerns and had an in-town caretaker who came right over when we misplaced our keys. Upscale for sure, but not too fancy for a few wet bathing suits and a little sand, and a five-minute walk from the beach! Will definitely be returning.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

NOT WORTH IT!! COMPLETE LET DOWN AND DISAPPOINTMENT!! As we drove up to the house expecting a clean and landscaped getaway (like the photos show), we found ourselves faced with overgrown bushes, a lawn that wasn't mowed, leaves and dirt at the bottom of the pool, and paint chipping off rotting wood surrounding the entire house. Inside the house, we found DOG HAIR caked on the furniture, musty linens, stained chairs, tarnished silverware, etc. The closets were full of the owner's personal items, so don't expect to hang up any of your OWN clothes. We had to clean the house, launder the blankets, clean the pool, and buy toilet paper, light bulbs, and many other basic items you would expect in any vacation rental!! We had to cover the dog hair-infested furniture with sheets (after we did the laundry), just to be able to sit down! To top things off, our planned dinner (BBQ) on our last night was ruined, thanks to the fact that we were told the gas grill worked, and had a full tank of gas. That wasn't the case. The owner and property manager did not address any of our concerns during our stay, thus we could NOT possibly recommend this place.

Great stay!

The architecture and furnishings were lovely. There is an in ground pool which was thee other reason we choose this house. The pool is very big and heated..bonus! It is a quick walk to the beach and one of the best restaurants we ate at was just 3 houses down. Very close to New Buffalo too. I would definitely stay here again. Great vacation!
