Au milieu de 2 1/2 acres boisés. 15 minutes de Brevard, 30 minutes de Hendersonville, 50 minutes du centre-ville d'Asheville. Près de Pisgah National Forest and Gorges State Park et du nouveau Headwaters State Park sur la rivière French Broad. Calme et isolé. Ponts tout autour, grand pont avant sur toute la longueur à l'avant avec une belle vue sur la zone boisée, véranda grillagée de 16 x 14 pieds. The cabin was very private and quiet. Very close to many hiking trails and lots of maps of the trails that were very helpful. The owner had many great suggestions regarding what was available in the area. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Place

Cedar Mountain Weekend Getaway

Fantastic weekend sparked by a great stay at Mount Hi!! Hosts are amazing…great communication, great location, great accommodations! I would recommend this place to anyone and will rebook myself.

Nice and peaceful

Love the area and the cabin didn't disappoint. The small town of Cedar Mountain is increasingly charming and the DuPont Forrest is very near.

Nice secluded house with an outstanding deck to enjoy sunrise or sunset. Comfortable seating area with plenty of room for the members of our sons wedding, we all met here to get dressed before going to the ceremony. Great memories were made here. Thank you.

Great Stay

Really great stay! Cozy and family friendly location that provides a nice remote getaway from the usual vacation locations. Perfectly positioned to a whole bunch of nature. Property owner was very accommodating and answered all my questions in an extremely timely matter. Would certainly recommend.

Peaceful family trip

We really enjoyed our stay in the mountains. The house is cozy and comfortable. Plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had.

So Convenient & Comfy!

The location of Mountain Hi! is ideal for hikers! The home is comfortable and well-equipped for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Dick is a wonderful host. We hope to return soon to this gem!

Great location for waterfalls and hikes. Large space cabin with plenty of room to spread out. Incredible porch. All the comforts of home. Without question worth the money

Mountain delight

This was a perfect location in the mountains. The cabin was extremely comfortable. Very quiet and secluded. The location was perfect for mountain, hiking exploring, biking, and everything that Dupont Forest has to offer Brevard and Hendersonville were short drive away, where there were wonderful, breweries and restaurants and shops to explore.

Incredible place to stay in the Dupont/Pisgah area.

We loved everything about this place. It’s secluded enough to be nice and quiet but still very convenient to all the things you might need while on a trip. It was about a 3 minute drive to one of the main trailheads at Dupont, you can’t beat that. The home itself was super clean and very well equipped. The host was extremely responsive and very nice to deal with. I highly recommend this place.

Girls' week

Four sixty friends and I stayed at Lindal Cedar home for some hiking and touring the area. The owner, Dick, was very helpful in suggesting hikes and amenities in the area. The home was clean and tidy, with convenient screened in porch and outdoor deck overlooking the woods. It was in a lovely, quiet location. We were just minutes from Dupont Recreation Area and Caesar's Head State Park. We spent a day exporing Pisgah Forest and Brevard area, a half hour drive. This was a perfect location for outdoor adventure!

Great cabin

The location in the Dupont Forest was private yet accessible to Brevard and the surrounding hiking trails. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed feeding the birds, goldfinches, chickadees and more. The Childs were hospitable hosts, only call away. Thanks for a relaxing week.

Cedar Mountain/Mt. Hi

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. It was easy to check in and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. Even though a hurricane knocked out power, Dick came by and set up a generator. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Everyone who was there loved the ambience and aesthetic of the cabin. We will definitely stay here again!

Ideal Dupont base

Ideal location for a Dupont State Forest adventure, particularly for biking. Easy ride to Fawn Lake access area, not bad ride to Corn Mill Shoals. Well-stocked kitchen, beautiful deck, obviously well-loved house. Worked great for our family (2 adults, 2 college students and 1 middle schooler). Dick is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host.

Great spot for the whole family

The home is comfortable and has all sorts of amenities thoughout the cabin. We cooked almost every morning & evening. The kitchen is fully equipped + had ample supply of detergents. Favorites for our group included hanging out on the deck watching the colorful little birds & eating on the screened in porch. The location was convenient for hiking and chasing waterfalls in DuPont State Park. We’d go back !

May the forest be with You!

We had a great time together just hanging out at the cabin. We grilled steaks and burgers and we enjoyed the large porches. Great location for going places like Table Rock, Caesars Head , Pretty Place, Sassafras Mountain, Pisgah National Forest, and DuPont. Believe it or not in our shirt time there we got to them all! Also everyone should go to Flat Rock Wood Room to eat at least one night. Beware you might wish it was two!

Gavin, looks like ya'll rocked!! You definitely hit the best places! We got married at Pretty Place during a thunder and lightning storm over the Cliffs 31 years ago! Still together and having the time of our lives hanging in all the forests! Never been to Flat Rock Wood Room but will be checking it out soon. Short getaway

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some! I love the rustic charm in the woods and yet my Verizon phone worked the entire time. I was able to keep up with work and getaway at the same time! The location is ideal for getting to Dupont State Park which was a beautiful experience. There were 3 of us (me and my two teenagers) and we had family come over to celebrate my daughter's birthday, so 6 in total for a dinner and games and it was very comfortable. I am very thankful that these owners are sharing their lovely Mountain Hi home!
