From the easy communication with the owner, Andrea, to the comfortable accommodations, we could not have asked for a better rental! The house feels like coming home. It has comfortable beds and updated bathrooms with great water pressure! The quick walk to the beach was convenient. Overall, a wonderful vacation rental.
Our family could not have been happier with the house, the neighborhood, the beach, and Rehoboth! Andrea was a great host, checking to see how we were doing and whether there was anything we needed.
My family and I visit Rehoboth every summer. This was our first time staying in the Pines and we loved it!! The location offers the peace and quiet you want for vacation and the proximity to the boardwalk lets you enjoy the fun of Rehoboth. We spent hours reading and napping and playing games on the front porch. The backyard table offered a place to eat dinner. It was a delightful place to spend a week and we hope to be back!
Andreaâs place was great! The listing was spot on, the location couldnât be beat, and the space was comfortable. Andrea was extremely communicative and helpful. We hope to come back next year!
Andrea was the perfect host, responding quickly to our questions when needed. The house is in an ideal location, near the beach and boardwalk. The house is large enough to provide provide personal space for 10 people. We highly recommend it.
The homhe was beautiful, clean, with nice amenities. We especially loved the screened front porch. Convenient parking for multiple cars. It was a very short walk to the beach, and very convenient distance to boardwalk. Owner was very responsive and accessible, a perfect host. Thanks for letting us stay at the house!
All weekend we raved about how perfect the house was for our family. The location in the beach block away from the business of Rehoboth but close enough to walk there and keep the younger generation entertained while us boomers sat on the porch and visited. Check in and communication was good. Thank you Andrea for offering your house to us!
Our family of six ( 3 in college) came from all around the East Coast to spend Easter together and this house became our home away from home. Spotless, well-appointed, beautiful space and in a great location. Every morning we would start the day with a cup of tea outside in the back where we would watch the bunnies and the squirrels run around and hear the sound of the ocean - beautiful combination. Easy walk to the beach and a short walk to the start of the boardwalk. Then we spread out in all the lovely areas the sit - the front porch or the back yard. The living room and dining room became board game central. We enjoyed all the comforts of home - highly recommend.
the house is charming. The location cant be beat. Easy walk to the beach. The Pines location is quiet and beautiful. Easy 15 min walk to the boardwalk. Loved being close to the state park for runs and bike rides. No compliants just comments. The kitchen is very small and not easy to make dinners. We like to get fresh fish etc and have dinners at home after a long beach day. We went out to eat more which was fine. I love outdoor showers. This house has an outdoor shower but its more functional post beach shower. The bathroom downstairs is in the primary bedroom. Not a problem for us, my kids used the upstairs bathroom. But if we went with in laws, would have been different. overall, the location is wonderful, the house artsy. Rehobeth is beautiful fun beach town.
This place was just perfect for our family of 5 adults -- parents and three 20-somethings. Easy walk to great beach and to town, which meant we didn't have to coordinate activities. Everyone could follow their desires by day and come together for dinner on the picnic table out back at night. The common spaces are nice and we especially got good use of the large screened in front porch -- with the ceiling fan on it was blissful even on hot days. Garden is pretty. The house could have easily fit a few more people, since there are 5 good bedrooms. But we were all working remotely for part of the trip so we wanted to make sure there was plenty of space and privacy. Andrea was a great host and responded to all our need quickly, even upgraded the wifi speed to meet our work needs; it's now fast enough that we could have multiple folks on video conference at once. Was a perfect respite and would rent again in a second.
This is one of the original bungalows of Rehoboth and the trees within this quiet, friendly neighborhood offer a breathtaking canopy overhead. The house is both humble and luxurious. It has everything your heart could desire - from a small, yet highly functional kitchen (a real coffee pot!) to plentiful seating and copious, private bedrooms. Beautiful artwork and personal touches make this a real home. Every room has a teeny, perfect closet, a dresser and a nightstand with a reading lamp. Think "small" and cozy - like the old days. We felt at home immediately and Andrea was an absolute pleasure with quick, personable responses. We walked up the beach to the boardwalk and back through the streets of Rehoboth, making an easy loop. The Gordon's Pond State Park is just a 3 minute drive up the road. Plenty of parking (pay admission at the toll booth) and a terrific stone dust trail welcomes you to walk/bike all the way up to Herring Point or even the Biden Environmental Training Center. Bike trails abound too!
We highly recommend this home!
The location was perfect, we had never stayed in the Pines and we loved it. The house was amazing and exactly as described. Yes we even made use of the outside shower! The beds were very comfortable and having coffee on the screened in porch was wonderful. We had an amazing week, perfect weather, perfect location and perfect host!
Our second visit to this charming cottage within walking distance to beach and downtown and probably not the last. Lovely neighborhood. The screened porch was our favorite hangout!
If you are looking for a house that warmly embraces you the moment you walk through the door....or a home that makes you want to get up in the morning JUST to sit on the porch and enjoy the gentle breezes and inhale the incredible scent of salt air, lush trees and the multitudes of flowering bushes....or a place that that INSTANTLY invites you leave your stress and cares behind......you are in luck!
When you think of a "beach cottage" this is it. An old home that is completely updated in a "seashore chic" style (while retaining its old character with the original doors, and a wooden screen door that makes it feel so authentic). It's so comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.... and is also very roomy! The detached guest house is simply wonderful. The gardens, backyard, outdoor eating area and grill add up to some wonderful nights sitting around the table telling stories, eating good food and laughing. I have no doubt that there have been a million moments like that in this house over the years.....you can just feel the love.
Andrea was a delight to work with- so accommodating and quick to communicate with. I cannot say enough about this quaint home. The one and only negative is that it doesn't belong to me (smile).
Thank you Andrea and family for sharing your very, very special place!
PS- Don't miss the drawer chock full of books in the main room, in the cabinet where the TV sits. I didn't see it until the last day unfortunately; but a real treasure chest of interesting titles!
We truly enjoyed our visit to Rehoboth. The house was so charming and the location was perfect for us! We did have a few mishaps but Andrea was quick to respond to make our stay in the Pines peaceful and relaxing. The only thing that could have helped was the wifi didn't reach the guest house. We didn't need to be "plugged in" but my son stayed out there and tried to do some work. Overall it was excellent and we would love to stay again!
My family and I spent Fourth of July at this cozy beach cottage that has that old Rehoboth feel. Photos are exact. Location is perfect. Close, easy flat walk to the north end of the boardwalk yet out of all the summer beach and boardwalk noise. Plenty of parking too in front of house for 4 cars. Highly recommend. Communication with Andrea was easy. She responds quickly and provides you with so much information. We just loved it and hope to be back soon!
Our family and friends had the best beach week ever in this quaint historic home on a quiet street in the Pines neighborhood of Rehoboth. This home included a guest cottage with a 1/2 bath and outdoor shower. The screened in front porch was perfect for hanging out. We all agreed it was the perfect location for walking access to beach and town. We would definitely stay here again.
