Shangri-Lodge est une cabine incroyable avec 180 vues de degré sur la région de Smoky Mountain qui doivent être vues pour être crues. Il dispose de trois ponts qui donnent sur les collines et les vallées voisines, vous faisant sentir comme le roi des Smoky Mountains. Deux des ponts ont des bains à remous privés et le pont supérieur a une grande balançoire en bois. C'est un endroit fantastique pour prendre votre café du matin ou vous détendre et regarder le soleil se coucher après une longue journée.

Shangri-Lodge est parfait pour les familles et les groupes, avec 8 chambres privées et la capacité de dormir jusqu'à 28 personnes. Hou la la! Et contrairement à de nombreuses cabines de Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, il est PARFAITEMENT situé à seulement 1,5 km de Dollywood et à 2,5 km de la Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Pour les plus jeunes du groupe (ou les jeunes de cœur!), il y a BEAUCOUP à faire dans notre cabine aussi! Le préféré de notre famille comprend la piscine communautaire intérieure, juste en bas de la rue, et la table de billard dans la salle de jeux. Mais cela ne suffit pas pour une cabine comme celle-ci! Nous avons également une table de baby-foot pleine grandeur, une table de hockey sur air et une armoire d'arcade debout avec une poignée d'anciens jeux classiques comme Mme. Pac-Man.

Il y a 11 télévisions à écran plat couvrant chaque chambre et pièce commune. Chaque téléviseur a Netflix, YouTube TV (pour les chaînes locales de Knoxville), Disney + et Amazon Prime Videos, vous avez donc beaucoup de choses à regarder si l'ambiance est bonne. Le salon principal est similaire à votre propre salle multimédia privée, avec un projecteur 10 'haut de gamme au cas où un tas de gens voudraient prendre un jeu ou un film. ET pour couronner le tout, il y a une machine de karaoké professionnelle qui vous fera chanter jusqu'aux petites heures de la nuit.

La cabine elle-même est agencée comme vous l'espérez et est massive à la fois en taille et en charme. Lorsque vous entrez dans la porte d'entrée, vous êtes accueilli par le salon et la salle à manger ouverts, parfaits pour les soirées jeux de société et les repas en famille. Et ouvrez simplement la porte du patio et la vue vous appartient. Et la cuisine confortable a à peu près tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour votre séjour - un Keurig et une cafetière, des casseroles, des poêles, de l'argenterie, des verres, un mixeur, une mijoteuse, un micro-ondes, un fer et une planche, et plus encore. Et la cabine dispose de DEUX ensembles de laveuses et sécheuses au cas où votre grand groupe aurait du linge à faire. Apportez simplement la nourriture que vous voulez, rangez-la dans le garde-manger ou dans l'un des deux réfrigérateurs et tout est prêt. Il y a aussi deux barbecues au charbon de bois en plein air, parfaits pour une soirée steak!

Lorsque vous avez fini de vous détendre au Shangri-Lodge, toute la région regorge de choses à voir et à faire. Dirigez-vous vers le parc national des Great Smoky Mountains pour une longue randonnée et gardez les yeux ouverts pour les fleurs sauvages, les cerfs de Virginie et même l'ours noir occasionnel. S'il se trouve qu'il pleut, montez dans votre voiture et faites un tour dans le parc pour apercevoir des bâtiments historiques datant des années 1800. Dans les deux cas, préparez un pique-nique et faites-en une journée.

Dollywood est le cœur battant à seulement 1,5 km et a quelque chose pour tous les âges, que ce soit des manèges de parc d'attractions ou des divertissements en direct amusants. Le parcours de golf de Gatlinburg est là si vous avez envie de faire quelques trous. Mais la plupart ne savent pas qu'il y a un casino Harrah à une courte distance en voiture de Cherokee, en Caroline du Nord. Et bien sûr, vous pouvez skier à Ober à Gatlinburg ainsi qu'au Cataloochee Ski Area en Caroline du Nord si vous voulez obtenir une action de déchiquetage à moitié décente.

I would not stay at this property again. It wasn’t horrible, but there were enough things about it that I would not stay here again.To start with I’ve never had a property owner so insistent on knowing everyone’s name and age . I gave everyone’s name and then I said in the 60s and 70s, but he wanted the exact age of everyone and asked me at least three times during the course of our communications. The ad says eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms. There are only three bedrooms that have a private bathroom that is not shared with the public or with another room. That was a big disappointment.The ad tells you that there is. Netflix and streaming surfaces. What they mean is that if you already subscribe to channels, then you can view it there with your password, but they don’t have it available unless I already had it and use my password. Almost every single TV did not work without you spending quite a bit of time trying to figure it out. I’m talking over an hour. There was not a Wi-Fi password and user ID posted anywhere in the place. You have to call to get the Wi-Fi password and login. I’ve never stayed anywhere that didn’t have it posted if it’s offered. Pictures are better than in person. One of my photos shows nails sticking up that kept stabbing my foot. I called to get a repair done and was told they would do it the next day. After saying, I was posting my pictures a handyman did come later that evening. He was good once he came. This place did not meet expectations.

For an older cabin, it is in really good shape. We loved the location most of all! We had a group of 14 ladies and one toddler. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for everyone's showers. We got to see a large bear roaming around looking for food on our last day there and got some great pictures of him. Thanks!

Multi generational family vacation!

Overall Great Family Time, But Some Key Issues Need AddressingOur family had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. It was spacious enough for all of us, had absolutely beautiful views, and was in a great location—close to everything we needed. We truly appreciated the opportunity to be together in such a peaceful and scenic setting.The owner, Justin, was very responsive and helpful when we reached out with questions or concerns, which we greatly appreciated.However, there were a few things that did affect our stay:•Cleanliness: The cabin could definitely benefit from a deep spring cleaning. Some areas felt a bit neglected and could use more attention.•Fridge Issue: Unfortunately, the refrigerator was a major issue. Despite following all instructions, it never got cold enough to keep our food fresh. We ended up having to throw out a lot of food, which was frustrating—especially knowing this issue had been mentioned in earlier reviews.•Lockout: We got locked out a few days before leaving, and resolving that situation took quite a bit of time. Several family members were left outside waiting, which was stressful and inconvenient.•Dryer Problem: The upstairs dryer didn’t work properly, so we had to use the one on the first floor for all our laundry needs. This should definitely be repaired.•Towels: The towels provided were older and quite rough—newer, softer ones would really improve the overall comfort.That said, we made the most of

This property was just as described and pictured. We had a great stay and communication from the property manager was fantastic. The property was clean and had plenty of room and spaces for our meeting as well as personal space in the evening. I greatly appreciated the amount of cooking items, coffee pots, dishes and silverware that was provided. The view was great from the 3rd floor. Ample parking was much appreciated as we had guests in from 6 states all with large vehicles. All in all, I would highly recommend this property to any and all groups / families.

Family trip to Dollywood

We had 18 guests ages 6-70. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Beautiful location close to Dollywood, restaurants, and the Great Smokey Mountains. Host was quick to respond to questions. Great experience!

This was my 2nd time bringing a class to the cabin. The kids loved the cabin. The hot tubs, pool table and air hockey table were among their favorites. We had everything we needed. A great time was had by all!!! Love the place will hopefully be back again!!

Comfortable and spacious

My friends and I 12 of us in all had a very nice relaxing weekend. The house is comfortable and spacious for a large group. The house could use a little TLC and could’ve been cleaner. The air hockey table doesn’t work very well, the pool table needs to be refinished and one of the hot tubs was broken but overall we really enjoyed the weekend and would stay again. Even with a full house, you could find a quiet spot to get away from people if needed. The kitchen, although a little small was well stocked. Thank you very much, Justine. Hopefully, we’ll stay with you next year.

Family Christmas Getaway

We had 18 total in our group & the cabin provided all of us comfortably. However, the kitchen is super small for a family of this size. I understand needing more space for all the rooms but be prepared for a small kitchen. We made breakfast/dinner it was tight with little counter space. The unlock and lock to the door was a learning curve for the older generation. We were very uncomfortable with the hand railing, highly recommend an inspection as 2 of the contractors in our family advised. Our Christmas tree lights didn’t work. We were there to celebrate Christmas with non working lights. We kept forgetting to get lights in town every time we left the cabin. 3rd floor toilet seat was broken & the toilet paper holder. I mssg the host serval times about our cabin and did not hear back from the host and have yet to hear back from the host. I contacted the property management team which I should’ve done in the first place and a very nice gentleman came out and brought a new toilet seat and fixed it. He forgot the toilet paper holder but we were fine just wanted them to know we didn’t break it. The air hockey table doesn’t blow air so the kids couldn’t play it…they still tried. Be sure to purchase/bring trash bags. Two refrigerators was a positive for our large group. Enjoyed the dining tables all together eating together as a family was nice. We enjoyed the cabin but wanted to share our stay. Communication through property management is recommended.

PERFECT!!!

This cabin is perfect! It’s in a great location, plenty of room, and wonderful views!! We even had a visit from 4 of the neighborhood bears! There was 20 of us and we never felt crowded! There was room for everyone to have their own personal space as well as plenty of room to spend time together!

Just know the pics do no justice for this property. When we made it we were all amazed by the cabin. I would say the only thing would be needing just a tiny bit of more light on the balcony’s but over all everything was amazing. We all had a wonderful time!! I think our family loved the big screen with the surround sound the most.

Great house for family gatherings

The Smoky Mountain Mansion is a nice size for large groups. The main level living/dining room provided space for our family of 20 to all be together. The porches and additional living areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors allowed for smaller gatherings. Everyone enjoyed the two hot tubs! We appreciated having two refrigerators and ovens. The volume of pots, pans, dishes, silverware and other kitchen items was among the best we’ve encountered in a rental home. We reported a few issues and (host) promptly responded and sent someone to assist. Unfortunately, some of the things we had to call about should have been caught during routine cleaning and/or maintenance. Broken toilet seats, a non-working washer/dryer, and ants should have been noticed and addressed before we checked in. Additional towels (barely 1 per guest provided) and bath mats would have been appreciated. Our biggest concern was the overall cleanliness of the house. There were cobwebs and other things that showed the home only receives superficial cleaning. The floors, while swept, did not appear to have been mopped or otherwise cleaned in a long time. Within a few minutes of walking around inside, we noticed the bottoms of our feet were very dirty. With small children playing on the floor, this was disconcerting. Repair & routine maintenance, additional towels/bath mats, along with a deep cleaning of the home would make renting Smoky Mountain Mansion an even better experience.

Perfect company getaway

We came to this cabin as a work group outing. We all loved it. Enough bed and sleeping place for everyone. Also two big dining tables was the star as we all could have a meal together and have a chat. Huge balcony on all 3 floors. Overall great experience.

Bugs - No Air - Raccoons

No air conditioning on the first floor. We had to argue with them to install a window air conditioner as several of our guests were elderly. Upon arrival the Toilets were dirty. Several of the toasters were broken. Wires hanging out and/or no handles. We informed them of the raccoons on the patios early on in our stay and was advised they would not do anything until after we left. So therefore no one could enjoy the evenings on the patios. Towards the end of the week we found several roaches. Needless to say we were not happy.

Much needed vacation!

We had a great time during our family vacation. The home was in a perfect location, convenient to everything. Ample space and everything you needed was on hand. We traveled with all adults so there was areas to have a little separation when needed. Justin was great to respond to everything and even check in via text during our stay. I would definitely recommend for a family or large group stay!

Perfect Cabin for Large Groups

Cabin is ideal for any large group-host was very responsive and we had no issues before, during, or after our stay! Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and activities to entertain any group! We enjoyed every second of our stay and loved the very friendly raccoon (nicknamed, Rocky) that stopped by and said “hello” each night! :) We would all stay there again!

April Trip

Great location! Cabin was clean and well stocked. Plenty of room! Love that the property was a gated community! Internet was a bit slow, so TV streaming was sketchy at times. We will come back for sure!

My wife and I are passionate about traveling and love everything that entails. Discovering a special restaurant, a fun show or a scenic drive can really make those memories that are cherished for life.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The first time we heard about Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it sounded too good to be true. Within a week, we had hopped a flight to go check our place out.

The instant we laid our eyes on this cabin, we knew that it was perfect. We wanted a cabin that was big enough for our extended family so we could all stay together. And of course a Smoky Mountain cabin HAS to have views or what is the point?!

One of the things we like the most are getting everyone together in the same cabin... With three levels, the kids can have their space while the adults relax on the main level taking in the views. And we DEFINITELY had to make sure we added all the amenities -- a pool table, foosball, air hockey and some video games.

Something equally as important is the location. Just 4 miles from town, this cabin is super close to all the action... You don't want to be stuck 30-45 minutes away in Wears Valley (which does have equally pretty views) because that's just like a daily commute in traffic!
