Un chalet 4 saisons cosy sur une rue sans issue incroyablement calme, à seulement 12 minutes de marche de Craigville, la meilleure plage de la famille à Cape Cod. Utilisez notre passe de propriétaire pour visiter toutes les plages de Barnstable. Quand vous revenez, profiter d'une douche extérieure, puis construire un barbecue sur notre terrasse flambant neuf donnant sur notre jardin arboré entièrement privé, qui surplombe une ancienne tourbière de canneberge. Puis marcher jusqu'à 4-Seas Ice Cream avec les enfants pour le dessert. Si il pleut, marcher sur l'ancien magasin de bonbons de temps, le terrain de jeu génial juste en face de la rue, et la magnifique chambre des enfants à la bibliothèque Centerville. Hyannis, avec ses dizaines de restaurants, vie nocturne, et les ferries pour Vignoble et Nanticket de Martha, se trouve à dix minutes en voiture.

This house is in a great location on quiet lane, a short hike to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked great, and the backyard overlooking the forest was peaceful. We would stay here again.

Great location!

Really enjoyed staying at the property, it was a quick walk to Four Seas, which we took advantage of. Brought back summer memories, and had a great outdoor shower to boot! Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Lovely quite location

Great location. Short walk to the beach (0.7Miles). The 1/3 mile distance from the wonderful 4 seas Ice Cream store makes it difficult not to go there daily!!! House is very clean, well stocked with paper products, detergent, condiments etc.

Perfect Beach Getaway on Cape Cod!

We had a fantastic stay at this Cape Cod rental! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to catch both sunrises and sunsets. The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed, from beach chairs to kitchen essentials. We especially loved the outdoor shower after a day in the sand.The neighborhood was quiet and family-friendly, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, beachside vacation on the Cape. We’d love to come back!

Comfortable and Quiet

The home is as described. Nice quite location with numerous shops and restaurants nearby. Neighborhood is safe and friendly, always a hello from neighbors when out walking the dog. The home could use a little updating, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The VRBO online description of key lock box location is wrong, but we managed to find the lock box. The VRBO APP describes perfectly where the key is located. We would rent again.

Charming, quiet stay close to it all!

We had a lovely stay at this quiet house. We loved walking to Craigville Beach and through Centerville to the Country Store. The kitchen was packed with amenities and we loved that it has two bathrooms. There was an occasional slight musty smell near the entrance, but we didn't notice it in the rest of the house. The main bed was comfortable. The central a/c was great to have. Overall, the location was fantastic. Thanks!

Peaceful Getaway

Lovely and livable house in a convenient location. The private backyard is perfect for morning coffee and listening to the birds. Our dog loved watching all the chipmunks scamper around. Kitchen has just about everything you would need - one small note is that the listing mentions a kettle, but we could not find one. It does have an instant hot water tap, though. Also, a small desk fan might be a nice addition.Quiet street with friendly neighbors. Easy walk to the beach, quick drive to shops and restaurants. Central A/C worked great for the 2 days we needed it. For bikers, we highly recommend the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Bike up to Wellfleet and get lunch at PB Boulangerie - you won't regret it. No complaints here - we hope to visit again!

You Get What You Pay For

Wrong instructions to locate lockbox and it was broken. Carpets dirty and stained. Mason jars for glasses. 3 mismaitched wine glasses. Threadbare linens. Paint peeling and broken closet door in primary bed room. No cable tv. Cardboard dresser in primary we bedroom. Outdoor shower was dirty and filled with leaves. Dirty grill.

This was a problem tenant. The lockbox is at eye level, three steps from the backdoor - in 20 years of rentals, everyone else w been unable to find it. The carpets were cleaned one month before. The mason jar style glasses are quaint and appropriate for a cape cod cottage. The wine glasses are from various winerises so of course they don't match. A complete set of linens for all bedrooms was purchased new last year, in addition to the older linens. The paint chips were caused by a prior tenant and are being fixed after the season. The dresser is not fancy but it's brand new and not cardboard. The outdoor shower and grill may not have been left perfectly by the prior tenant, but in New England in August there is no issue with "leaves" that happens in the fall. There is no cable TV correct. There is Roku so bring your own netflix. This was a problem tenant from the start with multiple problems and requests.

Great stay on Horseshoe!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this home. The home is stocked with everything you need. It is especially kid friendly -with toys, games, and a basement full of beach/outdoor equipment. The space was just right for myself, husband, 3 year old son, and our dog (such a plus to bring our dog!). In addition, both grandmothers came for the first week and there was still plenty of space. The backyard is lovely - especially in the evenings when the breezes go through the trees. The beach isn't far by car; it's about 3 minutes away. I highly suggest driving as Cheri provides a parking pass (if she didn't you'd have to pay $), otherwise the walk is a bit far -especially if you have children or tend to tire out after a day on the beach. The location of this home is in a quiet neighborhood with privacy, while a quick drive to many things. We enjoyed the local library and playground, as well as went into Hyannis often. We are already talking about our return!!! :)

Excellent stay

We had an excellent two week stay at this property. It was not easy to find a good place that we could bring our dog along. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and only a 10 minute walk to Craigville Beach, which was great. The house was clean and well stocked, could use some fresh paint in the bedrooms, but overall a relaxing stay - just what we needed. The DVD player wasn’t working and a new one arrived in a few days. Thanks to Cheri for her quick response!

Everything you need!

Great place, very private setting in the backyard that my dog and family enjoyed very much. Everything you need for the beach and your stay are there. The thought of everything. The collection of reviews and recommendations for Cape Cop were very helpful. Great location, near beaches and many quaint towns.

Great home, great location, great host!

This home is in a perfect driving distance to Hyannis, Mashpee & Barnstable. It is not too far in on the Cape to make the already long drive even longer. The house was clean, and the use of kitchen items, linens and washer machine was helpful and convenient. The home is situated on a nice quiet street and in walking distance to the small town center and beach. Everyone on the Cape was incredibly nice, including the host of the home. She made wonderful recommendations and was incredibly attentive to emails, calls or texts. It was great having the piece of mind that she was so kind and accomodative. We were very happy to bring our dog for this great little get-away. Thank you again for your hospitality, we were more than pleased!

Lovely, quiet location

Cozy and Quiet Cape beach close to everything

We have been vacationing here for years with our two small children and dog. The home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to the beach and activities. It is well stocked and has everything you could possible need while on vacation. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and has made many recent upgrades to the home making your stay even more enjoyable. Visit Craigville beach, 4Seas ice-cream, the playground, library, candy store or Centerville Museum. It is all within walking distance! Or Take a 5 minute drive into downtown Osterville for shopping and dinning.

Cozy Cape House by Craigville Beach

We had a wonderful first visit on Cape Cod in no small part to this home's location in Centreville. It is close enough to go in any direction. We saw a sunset on Old Silver Beach in Falmouth and swam near seals on Nauset Light Beach the next day. Staying local was fantastic too, Craigsville and Long beach were within walking distance as was Four Seas Ice Cream. It was close to Centreville Pie Company which we very much enjoyed. The home is fully stocked with every little thing you need which was a pleasure. It was VERY clean and neat and was in a safe family neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and we made use of the air conditioners. The backyard is full of birds, very private with a fire pit on the patio and an outdoor shower. The kitchen and bathroom were not new but were serviceable. The home has books on what to do on Cape Cod and guides for seashells and birds. Our two small dogs loved it there too, especially the screened in porch. Out homeowner Cheri was available by phone and so nice. I would highly recommend this home and a visit to Cape Cod.

Perfect house in great location

The house is wonderful and clean, the location is perfect. It's walking distance to the ocean. Our 3 yo son was able to cover the distance in a blink of an eye. However we took the car to the beach. Did not want to deal with caring all the beach necessities. It's a real pleasure talking to the owner. Cheri is very nice and very detailed. We are hoping for another year of such wonderful location. Did i mention ICE CREAM? It’s a short pleasant walk to the most delicious ice cream place.

Great Cape Getaway

This cozy 3 bedroom was a great place for us to stay on the Cape. Easy to get to, centrally located , clean, quiet and private with all the extras you might need or want ( kayak or grill) I recommend this vacation home.

We are a family from Boston who owns and rents this house for a few weeks each summers.. for about 17 years now. We use it when it isn't rented with our two kids and a random dog or two.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We were able to find this great property because we knew the prior owner. What attracted us was the beautiful private backyard, the quiet neighborhood, and most of all.. because we could walk to the beach! Our kids grew up coming here, so it's set up for families with children and dogs. 2022: We just made MAJOR improvements: new kitchen, another bath, central air, etc.. We hope that you will take advantage of the wonderful home we have created.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This house is made for families with children, extended families, and families with dogs. However, it is also a quiet location for a couple of enjoy some quiet time listening to the wildlife in the backyard. Craigville beach, fishing, kayaking, 4-Seas Ice Cream, and much more is all within walking distance. Plus we are close to the best that the Cape has to offer, including the nightlife and ferries in Hyannis, and the National Seashore further down the Cape.
