Beautiful view and excellent location

This property is amazing. It was the perfect amount of space for one family (2 adults & 2 children) and 2 additional adults. The view can't be beat.

Beautiful All Around Ocean and City View

The view from this condo was fantastic. My family and I really enjoyed staying here. Love the fact that we don’t have to check-in at the counter. So happy there is a functional kitchen for us to cook when we want to. Overall we would highly recommend any family to stay here and hope to book this place again when we visit Hawaii.

Excellent for two couples. All necessities provided, even extra toiletries left hanging on door 2 days into our stay. ABC Store one block away. Amazing views. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked.

Stay in Waikiki with Family

The property and condo were great. Just like previous customers, the condo needs a good cleaning - scratched paint, doors, and the rug is filthy. Other than that, my family and I enjoyed the property and condo. Just adding in a few more pots, pans, utensils (can opener, etc) and basic condiments.

Great location and view

We enjoyed our stay at the 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. The lobby is nice with a cafe and ice cream shop as well as a few other boutiques. The pool was adequate, but no view of the ocean. We loved the accessibility to the lagoon and beach. The condo was clean, but the carpet needs to be replaced. We did not use the sofa sleeper, so can't review that, but the beds were comfy. The kitchen is small, but nice. Overall I rate this a 5/5 and would definitely stay here again. The check in was sooo easy--just bypass the front line and go directly up the elevator.

Great views with subpar services

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was beautiful, dirty-stained carpets, but views of the ocean as far as the eye could see. The two balconies were perfectly situated to enjoy sun and shelter from wind. Unfortunately, the unit, unlike the brochure explains, is not equipped with all necessities of a basic kitchen: one dish towel (which i requested additional kitchen towels to be provided. To my luck, two very nice dollar store quality hand towels were provided by 5pm same day of my complaint.) No cookie sheets, or bake dishes, a couple small sized pans. No dish clothes, only provided with one sponge for a 6 day stay.. yummy.. The rental company is then charging me for towel “misuse.” I suppose using a towel to dry dishes and wash make up off by the end of the day can be calculated as a misuse; charging 27.50$ for towels after a 4400$ plus dollar bill. - despite the beautiful views, I will not be choosing this company, or this unit again in the future.

Beautiful Views

The best thing about this rental was the view. It is absolutely beautiful especially at sunset. The location was perfect for the Friday night fireworks put on by the Hilton. You could watch them from the balcony. We were also able to see the King Kamehameha Celebration parade as it went right in front of the Ilikai Hotel. When we booked the property the valet parking at the Ilikai was $28. Unfortunately, when we went it was $35 a day. The elevator at the Ilikai can be a bit of a wait especially during peak times. The unit itself was okay. The carpet needs to be cleaned as well as the furniture. Both had several stains on them. The beds were uncomfortable as well as the pillows. In the master bedroom you could see where there were water leaks on the wall, which makes me wonder if there is mold. The pots and pans need to be replaced as they are old and the Teflon is ruined on them. There isn't a toaster. They do have a toaster oven, but you have to hold the door shut while using it. In my our l opinion I don't feel there were enough towels or washcloths. There were six of us and there was only one towel for each of us, which forced us to use the laundry machines at the hotel (which you had to pay for). The rental did have toilet paper, soap and dish soap available. The Ilikai had a convenience store, which was nice. They also have an ice cream shop, which was just okay and a restaurant, which was just okay for dinner. They also had entertainment on Friday and Sunday evenings.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the apartment with our son and daughter-in law. The apartment was excellent in every respect, the Ilikai was a very good venue, and we greatly enjoyed our stay.Our only issue was the mishandling of a false fire alarm at 4am. Falso alarms happen. We have experienced them in hotels before. But this event was completely mismanaged by the Ilikai. Firstly, the announcement message was garbled and incomplete. Instead of saying "Don't take the elevators, it came out as "take the elevators". Then at the bottom of the stairs, there were no Ilikai staff to provide information or direction. Nor were their any other Ilikai staff engaged in managing the false alarm outcome. Then there was a 2nd announcement of a fire alarm after we got back to bed. And finally, there was no acknowledgement or information provided on the event. A simple note to guests the next day explaining the event would have helped. We suggest that VRBO take up with the Ilikai the need for improved management, training and communication relating to fire alarms.

Reviewer Comments: All the previous reviews on the cleanliness of the unit are correct. The carpet is very stained and in need of replacement. There’s a large rust stain in one of the bathrooms and the furniture and some cabinets are frayed and chipped. The balcony floors are also very dirty. There are no cleaning supplies provided other than dish soap.With all that said, did these factors ruin my trip-No. The location and view are why I stayed here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay with some exceptions. We liked the location and loved the view. The unit's carpet need professionally cleaned and its upholstered furniture also cleaned. Because we were there for a long stay of over a month, we purchased spray can of carpet cleaner to minimize the spots. Professional cleaning would do wonders.The kitchen has old and tired cooking pans, they should be replaced or bring your own skillet. There are wine and water glasses, no cocktail glasses. The beds were comfortable. The building had issues during our stay with the elevators being down for a full day and limited elevators running for several days. This caused long lines in the lobby. The electric was shut off for hours multiple times. This is no fault of unit 2343.Bottom Line: Great place to stay, please professionally clean the carpet and the furniture. Consider purchase of a new fry pan and some cocktail glasses. The pluses out weigh the minuses. Property Management company very prompt and excellent. Thank you

Incredible views

The condo has an amazing view looking out in all directions. The carpet and furniture are in desperate need of cleaning. Kitchen is poorly stocked - no measuring cups, spoons, bowls - minimal but manageable. Unit needs some updating but the view makes up for what is seemingly worn and tired furniture and ripped stained carpet. Management was responsive. Beds comfy.

Good location on the beach

Good location overlooking the Hilton lagoon. Corner unit provides a nice view down the coast as well as back into the city. Very comfortable stay for our family of four. The store in the lobby was very convenient for food and other necessities.
