A sign inside the door requests guest take their shoes off upon entry. Within minutes my feet were black and had sand all over them so i had to clean the floors.
Unused tile and grout stored in closets. Paint under the kitchen counter.
When we stripped the beds as requested prior to vheck out, i found a sheet of paper under the fitted sheet, which showed that the bedding had not been changed prior to our arrival.
We had a fun week on the property, but the room itself was outdated and un clean, the elevator situation is terrible at best with only three serving hundreds of rooms. The probability of a return trip is very slim
Upon check-in (7/3/23)we discovered a giant air mover/fan blowing up the carpet in the bedroom and a large wet spot. The fan had blown the carpet up and the tack strip entering the bedroom was exposed, leaving several staples up. We immediately reported this to Vacasa at 4:19. We received correspondence back and were told it was being escalated to the local team and we granted permission to access the condo. We did not have anyone come to look at the wet/damaged carpet or remove the fan.
We reached out again 7/4 and were asked to send photos and what happened and again explained it was reported at check-in.
Told AGAIN it would be shared with a local team and they would reach back out. They did not reach out, so we called and were given the same statement. My wife requested a return phone call but we were not contacted.
The carpet continued to become wetter and wetter, and smelled HORRIBLE but being 8.5 hours from home we had no choice but to stay.
For the price for a 2 night stay at this property and our first time booking at vacasa, we are VERY dissatisfied with our experience. Our children had a room that was absolutely disgusting, with soaking wet carpet, and a giant loud fan that disturbed our party for the duration of our stay. Our daughter ended up slipping prior to check out and fell.
The lack of action and/or communication regarding our issue, or the chance to be relocated to a property that was clean, is not acceptable.
Loved the view, pool and beach! Check in was a breeze. Condo very nice, but couches could be replaced. Functional but not very comfortable. TV took some time since we had no kids to help. đ. Was never able to get regular tv but kept us away from all the bad news!
The cleaning could have been way better. It took me about an hour when we got there to sweep the floors and other things ( dirt, sand, some small trash still on the floor). Very dusty everywhere. Vacasa did send someone to clean and fix it, but I had already done it. They did try and fix it. Other than that the room was not too bad. Just a little dated. Had a great pool and view. Over all we had a great time.
Oue Condo was very outdated and poorly cleaned. They closed the pool and hot tub everyday because they kept spotting dark clouds 10 miles away. Won't be coming back.
We had a great stay at Regency Towers Condo 910. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of 5 adults, one child, and toddler!! We will be back!
Regency Towers is an older property & is somewhat dated but the location is great with 2 pools, a tiki bar, and of course the beach.
Our biggest complaint was that the unit does NOT have cable TV. It only has streaming channels. The listing specifically states Cable TV is available in the unit but that is NOT true. We notified Vacasa & a rep came out but they could not resolve it as there are no cable boxes, etc. Theres just NO CABLE.
The condo was as pictured. It was clean and comfortable and had everythingyou would need for a week of beach relaxation. The condo is on the quiet end of PCB but close to restaurants and fun. Would rent again if we return to PCB.
The condo was very clean upon arrival and check in was super easy. Having a code instead of picking up a key was great.
Pros: large unit
-Clean
-Great outdoor heated pool
-Great beach
Cons: correspondence indicates parking is paid for. Condo management insisted we pay $20.
-While the condo was very clean, it is incredibly dated.
-Guest beds are not good and the kitchen is ill-equipped.
- The whole unit could really use a refresh.
-Carpets are very worn and stained.
-there was no broom or vacuum in the unit. A week at the beach produces alot of sand and those are necessities. I did buy a broom and left it there but would have had a much nicer time keeping the unit clean if there had been a vacuum.
-There weâre a lot of condo owners at the building during our stay. We have four small children. They were not terribly excited about families with children staying there and were frustrated with kids in the pool. It wasnât a big deal but not exactly family-friendly either.
