Mountain Home dans les montagnes folles avec vue et solitude

Comme son nom l'indique, SkyArbor Guest House est l'endroit oĂč les arbres atteignent le ciel et les montagnes rencontrent les plaines. Cette rĂ©gion pĂ©riphĂ©rique le long du versant ouest des montagnes folles abrite une faune abondante, et de nombreux arbres et fleurs sauvages ornent la zone de la cabane.

Le panorama Ă  couper le souffle est un plaisir constant, avec les montagnes folles qui montent Ă  l'est et les montagnes Bridger qui balayent Ă  l'ouest. Le lever et le coucher du soleil peuvent ĂȘtre spectaculaires, projetant des ombres sur les contreforts et des teintes roses sur les montagnes. Les montagnes Big Belt sont au nord, et en regardant vers le sud depuis le sommet de la propriĂ©tĂ© se trouvent les montagnes Beartooth, Absaroka et Gallatin.

Les quartiers d'habitation comprennent une grande salle à manger / cuisine / zone de rassemblement; un espace bureau / séjour; chambre au rez-de-chaussée et salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée avec douche; une véranda / salon séparé; une grande mezzanine avec plusieurs lits; et une petite mezzanine avec lit double.

Les perspectives du temps et de l'horizon changent rĂ©guliĂšrement. Les cerfs se nourrissent souvent, les antilopes et souvent les wapitis peuvent ĂȘtre vus Ă  distance (apportez des jumelles), parfois l'orignal, l'ours et le coyote se promĂšnent Ă  travers, et les oiseaux, les Ă©cureuils, les lapins et les tamias sont toujours en train de courir.

Les fers Ă  cheval peuvent ĂȘtre jouĂ©s derriĂšre la cabine. Une aire de feu de camp est disponible pour le plaisir du soir. Faites un pique-nique Ă  la table extĂ©rieure, ou profitez d'un moment de calme ou d'un pique-nique au belvĂ©dĂšre.

La pĂȘche peut ĂȘtre pratiquĂ©e dans les lacs alpins ou dans les riviĂšres Shields et Yellowstone Ă  proximitĂ©. Le gros gibier et la chasse aux oiseaux sont disponibles sur les terres forestiĂšres nationales ou dans les zones de gestion des blocs. Yellowstone Park est Ă  moins de deux heures. Shopping, restaurants et galeries se trouvent Ă  Wilsall, Clyde Park, Livingston, Bozeman et Big Timber.

None of the pictures or reviews really do this place justice. One of the most beautiful and peaceful locations I've ever experienced. Stay as long as you can, because you won't want to leave.

Susan and Paul’s cabin is impressively clean and the property is well cared for. Amazing decor matched only bet the amazing views. We hope to stay again next year.

Amazing views, stars, and sky !

This was a perfect rental for us ! The owners have a beautiful cabin and take great care to make sure you are able to enjoy it all ! Fabulous views of the skies and stars and surrounding mountain ranges. Perfect if you want to get away from it all. Loved the gazebo too! We had a mule deer and fawn wandering around the property as well during our stay. One of the best VRBO rentals that we've enjoyed and would recommend without reservation. Well worth the trip !

Beautiful location/property

We started off our visit being greeted by Susan and Paul, they’re the nicest hosts I’ve encountered in all my Vrbo visits!!! The property has vistas on every side, and the most beautiful porch in which we had the pleasure of watching some MT rainstorms while relaxing. The properties in a perfect location to visit Livingston, Paradise Valley, Yellowstone And the crazy mountains. There is not enough words I could Used to describe how magical it was to stay there and I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks again Susan and Paul

Beautiful

Beautiful cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the property owner was excellent and even checked in with us to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. The bathroom was small and the beds were regular so cuddling with your partner is a must. Location was awesome and the property was gorgeous. Really enjoyed the gazebo overlooking the mountains and the ranches below. Unique cow traffic jam on the way to town! Definitely the best views one could ask for. Recommend for sure.

Heaven in Montana Countryside

Stunning property run by the best people. Humble home perched on top of a several hundred feet high hill, with extraordinary views looking over 50 miles (or much more) in the distance at mountain ranges. Favorite part was sitting on the covered porch watching the monsoon rains come in during the evening, and the sunrise over the mountains in the mornings. Off the beaten path, so peace of mind in an instant. Saw eagles, deer, farmlife, chipmunks all from the property. Was lucky enough to stay during a visit by Jack, a beautiful and gentle horse staying there. Recommend 4x4 for sake of gravel driveway, and no agenda. Paul and Susan are as sweet as it gets. I can’t wait to make it back

Perfect remote hideout

Absolutely stunning stay--cannot recommend highly enough. My brother and I came here to get away from it all, and the place delivered in spades. Paul and Susan are most gracious hosts; super simple check-in, great communication, and a stocked pantry, what else can you ask for? They even called to check with us to make sure we had what we needed and were comfy in the house. The space was immaculately clean, cozy, well-appointed...and not to mention the amazing views! Mountains on all sides. We loved the collection of vintage Western books, memorabilia, and decorations, and we put the porch rocking chairs to good use time and again. The beds were comfy, the oven was hot, the air was crisp, and the vibes were deep. Truly a special place that recharged our spirits (and led to some great musical inspiration). Thanks to Susan and Paul for sharing their space with us. Maybe we'll be back? But even if not, we made a ton of memories and are forever grateful for it.

Great location, easy check in and accommodating hosts. Wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the property but we were running around the Crazies (which was an added benefit of the property being so close to the mountains).

Beautiful view

Had a relaxing time in this cabin with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and farmland. The cabin was comfortable and clean with lots of visiting wildlife and birds.

Anniversary weekend

Montana race getaway

Paul and Susan were fantastic host and provided an incredible cabin with more than you could imagine. Its the perfect spot to get away from the busy world and relax. A little peace of heaven....

If you want somewhere to decompress and enjoy nature this is your place! Susan and Paul are excellent hosts that are very accommodating and have great communication throughout the visit. The pictures online do not do justice to the cabin - the views are breathtaking and the sunset is absolutely beautiful from the front porch of Sky Arbor. We enjoyed all the decor and you can tell the hosts have put their heart and soul into every detail inside the cabin. We saw a blue grouse, peacock, deer, and heard coyotes while at the cabin. Book Sky Arbor, you will not be disappointed!

Peaceful and beautiful

The views from the cabin and special lookout points were breathtaking. The cabin was a perfect place to relax and met all our needs. Paul and Susan were beyond helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Paul even cleaned bird poop off a high window before we checked to in to make sure our view was perfect. Susan was so kind to ship us an item we left behind. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for peace, solitude and to experience Gods beauty.

Well maintained, beautiful vistas. High altitude. Nicely decorated, classy but comfy. Tv a little small and we had issue with wifi but overall was a wonderful, relaxing experience.

Fell In Love with SkyArbor

Our stay at SkyArbor was just phenomenal. Paul and Susan thought of every detail to such an extent that we never lacked for anything. You'll get to know the dramatic mountain views from every window and the quiet, of course, is otherworldly. Prioritize time out at the observation deck behind the property while you glass the hills for animals across the Douglas fir forest. Be sure to look for the creek near the lower end of the property (it was so nice to sit beside and think). We cannot wait to return -- we fell in love with this cabin and Montana! The Mitchells

Amazing Cabin Retreat in Montana

Our stay at the SkyArbor Cabin was amazing. This place is located high up to provide a great view of the surrounding mountains. The location is an extremely quiet and peaceful. The Cabin is very well maintained and includes essentuailly everything you will need. All we needed to bring was our bags, and some groceries. The owners are very helpful, and the communication was great. The Cabin, and the land it's located on is Very well maintained. If you're looking for a amazing place to decompress, this is it.

SkyArbor Guest Cabin started out as a retreat and recreational cabin in 1984, and additions to the building and property steadily advanced. Family and friends savor the dramatic views of weather, sky and terrain, as well as the nearby availability of hiking, fishing, hunting, and sightseeing.

In 2003, the Seastrands made room in the calendar to use SkyArbor as a Guest Cabin, and this is advertised through their website--SkyArbor, Vacation Rental by Owner--VRBO, and Visit Montana-.
