La nature vous attend! Profitez de la tranquillité d'une propriété privée avec de nombreuses commodités, y compris un foyer, barbecue à gaz, laveuse / sécheuse, grande terrasse et gazebo, foyer au gaz, poêle à bois, hamac et plus. La cabine peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement et offre un charme incroyable. Black's Point Beach est à 7 min à pied. Profitez des couchers de soleil célèbres du lac Huron ou planifiez des excursions d'une journée dans l'une des villes voisines (Bayfield, Goderich ou Blyth). Great winter getaway!

We meet up with our adult kids and had a great weekend together. We loved that the cottage we spacious enough that we could enjoy quiet reading time by the gas fireplace ot tv by the woodstove. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals.

Snow globe experience!

The cabin is so quaint and inviting. There is absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the essentials. The two sitting areas were well used and the wood stove area was beautiful to sit in and look out at the snow falling. It was perfect!

A Gem of a Cabin

Black’s Point Cottage is indeed a Happy Place, a serene and charming retreat. It is very clean, cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with full attention to detail. Leslie obviously wants her guests to enjoy themselves there, and they do. The beds are comfortable and all the amenities are provided. There were only two of us staying, for a brief time, so we didn’t make use of many of these, and although we were fortunate in the weather, we didn’t make much use of the outdoors and grounds. But I can imagine how pleasant it would be to be there later in the season. Leslie was wonderful to deal with throughout. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, Relaxing Log Cabin

Very beautiful log cabin with everything you need for a relaxing getaway!! Extremely clean and a cozy cottage with a lovely wood stove that was enjoyed all weekend. Thanks Lesley and Steve for letting us stay. Will highly recommend and hope to be back again soon!

Great place/ property to hang out with my family. The cabin was very cosy and had very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and there were so many nostalgic games to play. Had a very large private yard with a gazebo. It was a fun place and close to lot of things to do in town.

Beautiful Fall Vibes Log Cabin

This cozy cottage has incredible fall vibes with a cool loft, stone fireplace, and sun room in the back! It is a nice location, it feels remote, although you are a short drive from Goderich. It's a pretty short walk to Blacks Point Beach, which is so cool. Gravel trail down the bluffs to a nice, but a bit rocky, beach with a nice view north to Goderich and the lake in general. Our host was very nice and check-in and check-out process was very easy. We wish we had booked a longer trip!

Very comfortable cottage. The standard of everything was excellent! We had excellent sleeps in our super comfy beds. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.

A fantastic Moms Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Log Cabin. It was very comfortable, clean, warm and with beautiful views of nature from the 4 season sunroom. Everything was well-labeled and we had everything we needed to have a decadent weekend getaway.

Perfect Getaway

We just wanted a nice quiet weekend to read and explore and this cottage was perfect. The interior is so home-y and comfortable and has everything possible that you would need. Great location to go into town for dinner or walk around a quiet neighborhood. 10/10

Cozy and Comfortable

A sweet cottage with lots of room to relax and a pleasant walk to the beach. Lots of firewood provided, games and staple provisions. You won't be disappointed.

Great Gals Getaway

Longtime friends stayed at this charming home that had such a warm and cosy feeling. The kitchen was well equipped. The ladder going to the second floor room is a little tricky for 65-year-old knees, but younger folks wouldn’t have much of an issue. We even managed to take a dip in the lake in Oct. It was quite private, and the lawn was spacious enough to play fetch with the dog. Leslie was a gracious hostess, and as one participant exclaimed, I hit it out of the park with this choice!

A Cozy Cabin Getaway

A beautiful family getaway with our small dogs. What a great welcoming start to our vacation, to be greeted with a welcome note and a jar of local honey. The property is exactly as advertised. A wonderful supply of dry hardwood firewood made for cozy evenings. Close to all amenities.

Girls getaway

This cabin is beautiful. Went with some girl friends for a weekend away. Lots of room for laughter and conversations. Beds were very comfortable. We will be back. Highly recommended it.

Comfortable and quiet

We stayed here for a long weekend with our two little dogs. The cabin was very comfortable and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. A short drive to Goderich and Bayfield and local stores. We really enjoyed the wood burner and the big garden with table and chairs to have meals outside. Highly recommend.

Lake Huron Gem

This charming log home was beautiful and very comfortable on a gorgeous park like lot. . It is a ten minute walk to a great beach on Lake Huron. The house is incredibly well stocked and the instructions from the host were the best ever.

My husband, Steve and I have a combined 35 years experience in hospitality and enjoy a love of travelling ourselves. Together we love creating lasting memories and experiences for friends and guests. Steve worked for 5 years at the Banff Springs Hotel, and we met while both working at the Chateau Lake Louise. Steve’s favourite role with Canadian Pacific was bartender at the Works Ski Lounge at the Banff Springs where he had the pleasure of serving guests from near and far including some very familiar household names!

I began in the service industry managing my parents B&B and antique business in Stratford during my teens. I then was a server and later manager for both a restaurant in Stratford and at the Chateau Lake Louise. I also spent time working as a Front Office Supervisor in Lake Louise. Needless to say, these combined experiences provided us with lots of training and knowledge of premium service. Having both worked at some of Canada’s most iconic properties and learning the art of what exceptional service looks like, we are excited to share our happy place with you and help you create lasting memories!

We've always dreamed of owning and living in a log cabin. When we saw this property we knew it was the one! It's our retirement project and we couldn't be happier!

Multiple times guests have told us the cabin feels like it's giving you a big hug. We couldn't agree more. It's private, provides lots of space for families and is close to Goderich, Bayfield, Lake Huron, Cowbell Brewing Co. and more!
