The interior as just lovely and clean. We were a little concerned as we came down 19 th st, but once inside and then at the bakeries nearby all was well. Even walked down to Essex Pub one evening!
We were a group of seven adults and the house served us perfectly. We enjoyed the location and were able to walk to the Elmwood village and the Niagara River. The best of the West side of Buffalo
The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and in the perfect location with access to many restaurants and cultural sites. We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer! Communication was excellent and instructions were clear.
We had a great experience. Christine was prompt and thorough with communication. The house was clean, comfy and filled with thoughful details, such as plenty of towels, pillows, etc.; a list of recommendations for area restaurants and attractions; and helpful signage on how appliances/locks worked.
Great spot for a group of 10! They had every kitchen item you could imagine, the check-in/checkout process was smooth, and we were able to park without issue. We had a great weekend in Buffalo and for the Bills game!
Property was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed one day but it was a very enjoyable experience, much better than our family members (8) staying in separate hotel rooms. Would definitely stay there again in the future.
Super comfortable and cozy house for larger groups
We stay over the weekend for work. We were 7, and sleep very comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable with a good coffee shop nearby. The communication with the host was spotless
This is a prime location for setting up folks with a good stay in Buffalo. Several restaurants, coffee/breakfast spots, a yoga studio, and specialty wine shop are right within walking distance in the 5 points neighborhood. Definitely recommend!
My brother and I were driving back from Boston to Chicago and needed a halfway point stop that would allow us to being a handful of dogs. This place was great and was a wonderful place to rest our heads and let the pups out of the car for a few hours.
The neighborhood was a bit rough but the house was lovely and the host even lovelier. She was super flexible and answered every text and phone call. My family and I had a great experience.
The house was absolutely beautiful! Lots of character and very cozy! We were in Buffalo for the Hockey game so the location was perfect for commuting. Christine was a gracious host and would definitely recommend this property.
This worked out perfect for our family gathering . There were 9 of us and the bedrooms worked out perfect . The house was clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Buffalo! I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Buffalo !
Enjoyed the house - very clean with comfortable rooms and beds. Great for a client trip to see Bills and Sabres! Christine was very easy to communicate with. Easy couple-minute walk down the street to multiple coffee and bakery shops!
We spent 5 fantastic days in Buffalo in this wonderful house! It is located in Five Points- a very cool and beautiful neighborhood. The house is roomy, and very thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. Christine has done a great job of decorating the house. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and the whole house is very clean and neat. A real bonus is that the house is pet friendly ( not easy to find in a house of this quality!). Christine is the perfect host, great communication, easy check in, and provided alot of information on the local restaurants , sites , etc. Be sure to visit Remedy House! Itâs a short distance from the house and has superb coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch ( you can thank me later for the tip) . Christine recommended it and itâs the best!We had a perfect stay in the house and look forward to coming back- thanks Christine!
I live in Buffalo, NY where I renovate and manage my personal rental properties. Travel is something I love to do as much as possible- recently backpacking South America and Europe- and I greatly enjoy exploring new places and meeting people from around the world.
I fell in love with this house after deciding to invest in my first property in the City of Buffalo. The front house was built in roughly 1885 and was a fixer upper, just what I was looking for. The back house (this listing) was built roughly in 1930 and was ALSO a fixer upper. I can share before and after photos with you if you want to see!
The house is situated next to a full grass/rain garden lot and surrounded by neighbors' yards on all sides. It is peaceful and quiet in this house, while also being in the heart of a trendy, in-demand neighborhood with lots of new local cafes, bars, and shops special to Buffalo. We are only a couple blocks from the 5 Points Intersection, but our street has ample free parking.
