Time drifts by when you stay here. Great place for enjoying friends and family. Be sure to bring your boat; the dock is available just beside the porch. The locals on Big Pine Key are đ great.
We stayed at this lovely home from December 9 thru Jan 6,2024. Great kitchen, and plenty of room for our family. Very nice outdoor space with excellent dock for our boat, and great fishing close by. Also had plenty of parking for our vehicles & boat trailer. Kathie is very helpful host, and even mailed some forgotten items after we left. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at Kathie's home. She was an awesome host, helping us with anything we needed and quickly responding when anything came up. The house is one of the few in the area with 5 BR to support a larger group. It was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need for large or small meals. The screened porch is large and comfortable for enjoying canal view. The downstairs includes a nice sitting area and plenty of space to store your gear. There are multiple freezers and a fridge downstairs for bait, drinks, and storing your catch. The location provides quick access to the Atlantic for your larger boat and to the back country for small or flats boats. We will definitely be back!
The house was amazing as was the host .We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home .
The canal is crystal clear and the location is perfect for exploring or accessing great fishing and recreational areas.
It felt like home !
We had a wonderful stay on Big Pine Key.
Great house, very clean, Kathie is great to work with.
The canal is deep, clean and protected with great dockage for our boat.
Loved it! Can't wait to go backđ
We needed a well located place in the keys and dock space for the boat. The place was easy to get to, centrally located between Marathon and West, with lots to see and do nearby. Amenities as advertised and owner is friendly and helpful. Incredible place to get into a relaxed mood and fish, paddle and see the Keys.
I am a lifelong residence of the Florida Keys. I grew up in Marathon and moved to Big Pine Key to raise two wonderful boys. I built & designed our home in 2006 to withstand a 5 hurricane. We have lots of space and a grand room for entertaining. We hope you will enjoy our home as we always have!
The property is registered with both the business tax & tourist development for 28 days and more rentals. It was built with comfort in mind and will feel very spacious and airy with lots of extras. Besides a giant 65 inch 4K TV in the living room, there is a TV with Roku in every bedroom except one. It is upgraded with Google Home features such as voice command on many lights, a google commanded front door video camera with 2 way speaker plus speakers in the master, porch & kitchen areas. All beds are very comfortable and the master bedroom is a one of a kind with a huge tub in the room.
The home is very vibrant with color and a Keys atmosphere. It is private and quiet. Just a step down from the Kitchen is a gigantic grand room that will also sleep two more people. This room is large and spacious and is made just for a big crew! There are many unique art sculptures and pictures from world known Shark Week cameraman & artist Mark Rackley. These pieces along with many driftwood pieces from local artist & carpenter Matt Roy. are very unique and interesting. Our porch is set with 36 foot of pocketing sliders to open up the home even more on the cooler days we occasionally get in the winter This allows a wonderful fresh air cross current through the whole house. The front rooms & master bedroom have cathedral ceilings to give you that spacious feeling. The porch over looks our pristine canal which has a 20 ft dock to hold up to a 35 ft boat. The rest of our 75 feet of water front is a beautiful landscaped walkway under the mangroves that take you to our floating dock/bar that will allow you to watch our Key West sunsets nightly.
