Bienvenue dans la vie Ă  la campagne! Conduisez sur la route sinueuse et calme qui longe la riviĂšre Broad française jusqu'Ă  la ferme blanche sur la colline. Asseyez-vous sur le porche avant et profitez du soleil pendant que vous arpentez le vert qui vous entoure. Les chevaux paissent dans le champ. Vous expirez et vous dĂ©tendez. Il y a du cornhole et des fers Ă  cheval. Alors que la fraĂźcheur de la soirĂ©e s'installe, vous vous rassemblez prĂšs du foyer. Évadez-vous avec votre famille ou vos amis et dĂ©branchez-vous lorsque vous jouez Ă  des jeux de sociĂ©tĂ© ou au maĂŻs. Ou conduisez 30 minutes jusqu'Ă  Biltmore House pour admirer la plus grande maison privĂ©e d'AmĂ©rique; ou 30 min dans l'autre sens pour pittoresque Hendersonville avec son centre-ville piĂ©ton seulement en concurrence avec la boulangerie et le magasin gĂ©nĂ©ral Mast; ou une troisiĂšme option consiste Ă  se diriger vers la forĂȘt nationale de DuPont, la forĂȘt nationale de Pisagh ou la tristement cĂ©lĂšbre promenade. Notre maison est situĂ©e au centre de tant d'attractions de la rĂ©gion d'Asheville. Si vous ĂȘtes un amateur de biĂšre ou de vin, la rĂ©gion d'Asheville / Hendersonville est devenue rĂ©putĂ©e pour ses microbrasseries et ses Ă©tablissements vinicoles. Nous sommes Ă  15 minutes de la cĂ©lĂšbre brasserie Sierra Nevada. N'oubliez pas de faire un tour, c'est tellement intĂ©ressant.

Ma maison d'enfance est modeste mais confortable. Il s'agit d'une maison de 3 chambres avec un canapĂ©-lit queen. Il y a 2 salles de bain. En bas, il y a 2 chambres queen qui partagent une salle de bain. A l'Ă©tage est le maĂźtre avec sa salle de bain privĂ©e. Il y a une taniĂšre et un salon pour que les enfants puissent jouer dans une piĂšce et les adultes peuvent se rassembler dans l'autre piĂšce. Pour les vacances, il y a amplement d'espace pour prĂ©parer un repas et manger ensemble dans la salle Ă  manger ou s'Ă©taler sur le porche. Pour moi, le meilleur endroit est le porche vitrĂ© oĂč le soleil entre et vous pouvez profiter de la vue Ă  180 degrĂ©s.

Great Home & Location

This home really worked out well for our family vacation, with plenty of room. Great location- short drive to Asheville and Brevard. Loved the outdoor space and we were entertained by the horses!

Beautiful property!

Really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! The property was absolutely beautiful and so serene. The inside was cozy and had everything you need. Our young kids really enjoyed all the outdoor space and wildlife. It was also very close to Sierra Nevada and downtown Asheville which was nice! Definitely would consider staying here again and would recommend to all looking!

Beautiful property-can’t wait to return

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house just outside of Asheville. Horses roaming right next door, fresh air, lovely views, sitting by the fire pit and a warm and welcoming house when we were inside. If you are visiting Asheville do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes outside the city and stay here rather than the hotels in and around the city, you won’t be sorry. Owner/property manager was incredibly nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return!

Just wonderful!

This property was so special. Charming and roomy. family friendly farmhouse with the most amazing grounds! Plenty of room for family to have fun with beautiful views out of every window. Kids can run and play in the huge yard and see the horses that graze everyday. The fire pit was our every evening gathering spot. The location in Arden was ideal between Asheville and Hendersonville. Close so much! We will definitely be back. Jenny was sweet, informative and so helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely Farmhouse

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. It had a farmhouse feel, with many upgrades. Media and internet connections allowed for streaming while checking email for work. Furnishings were comfortable, rooms were private, and the property was well maintained. Made smores with the kids at night in the fireplace. We were 20 minutes from the Biltmore and Arboretum. The horse boarding next door allowed their horses to graze, and we were able to pet the horses across the fence. Although it felt rural, yet we were close to supermarkets, restaurants, theatres, etc. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Peaceful farmhouse on horse farm

Beautiful old but renovated farmhouse on acres. Well -equipped kitchen, great weather for eating outside at the patio table in back or sunroom table in front. Landscaped with good outdoor living possibilities. The sunroom at the front of the house was used by everyone, especially after the toddler was asleep, but whenever we were there. We used the 3 bedrooms and the sleeper sofa in the living room for our family of 8 adults. The toddler had her inflatable toddler bed, though a packnplay was available there for younger babies. Our kids and we loved our visit there, a relaxing getaway from the city. Thank you.

Absolutely Perfect Family Weekend

What a charming Farmhouse full of love and history! One of our favorite family trips to date- Jenny went above and beyond to make our weekend wonderful. We were coming from all around, and this adorable farmhouse was the perfect meeting spot. The house was beautiful, perfectly clean and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The outside had a variety of seating which made my outdoor crew very excited! There is so much to do nearby, being only minutes from The Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville and so many other beautiful sites! MUCH happier staying here than in Asheville. Jenny was incredibly prompt with her responses about any questions we had, and made the entire process so easy! We are already comparing calendars and planning when we can come again!

Peaceful, beautiful farm setting

The farmhouse and surrounding property was perfect for our family. The open fields and horses on all sides of the house reminded me of my childhood home a few miles down the road. It was quiet and somewhat secluded yet convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We will definitely return to this beautiful farmhouse.

My family loved staying here. The kids had room to romp outside and the house was lovely. We were in the area for a wedding and this suited us just perfectly. Lots of amenities close by, but away from the fray. We would stay again!

Great Stay

I love the quiet, country estate and my family loved it too. We ended being together for a memorial service and it was the perfect location to spend quality time with family and play games that were provided. We especially loved sitting around the firepit.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable house on a gorgeous farm. There was plenty of space for our family, we enjoyed the outdoor dining area and fire pit, and our kids made friends with a neighbor horse. Highly recommend!

Great relaxing getaway

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at The Farmhouse. What a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying the North Carolina climate and surroundings. This property was close to shopping for groceries and added amenities, even though not much more was needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and preparing meals. The beds were super comfortable. The house had a great enclosed front porch to sit and read while enjoying the surroundings. Jenny was super easy to communicate with. She wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this property and this great hostess.

2021 Family vacation at the Farmhouse

The house absolutely perfect. It provided a wonderful place for our family to spend the week. We spent hours on the porch - reading, talking and eating. We enjoyed watching the horses in the yard around us. The house was also well located with easy access to Asheville and hiking. We would definitely return for a future gathering!

A little horsing around

We absolutely adored our little country getaway-it was exactly what we needed after 3 weeks of holiday hustle & bustle! A fire pit (with horses to boot), followed by a morning of breakfast coffee & sweet rolls on the patio was the perfect scenario.

Perfect quiet family getaway!

Our family loved our time at the farm. The home is well kept, clean, oozing with history, and has several areas for gathering. Our boys (ages 7/4/2) loved watching the horses graze in the pasture next door and were even lucky enough to watch some riding lessons on our hike to the river! We enjoyed bonfires in the fire pit, exploring the family farm, and tossing a football around in the yard. Cannot recommend this property, and hosts, too highly for those looking to explore Asheville while having some R&R!

a lovely place for a family holiday

Three adult siblings and spouses gathered here for a Thanksgiving week visit with our mother, who is in her 90s. The farmhouse is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen had enough room for us to cook the holiday meal together, something we love doing, and there are enough sitting areas so that people could be together or have some solitude as desired. One of the living room recliners was perfect for Mom. And the views are beautiful. We'll be back.

Great place to relax and play

Everything was as expected. Farmhouse surroundings was peaceful and relaxing yet it is only a few miles from the convenience of a city. Excellent gathering place with friends with all the outdoor sitting areas and especially the firepit.

Hi! I am Jenny. I grew up here, on the farm. I am so excited to share it with you. Plan your get away - drive the winding country road with the French Broad River and cornfields running beside it. Drive up the driveway and breathe deep the wide open spaces. Enjoy time with family and friends as you play games in the large yard or go for a walk on the property or at a nearby Park.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Large plots of land are fewer and fewer. We are determined to hold this family treasure for our kids and grandkids as well as share it with our guests. It's hard to explain the feeling when you get out of the car and leave the responsibilities and busyness behind and just enjoy nature and open spaces.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house sits on a 75 acre farm.

The French Broad River runs at the edge of the property: fish from the property. There is an access for kayaks/tubing across the river (1 mile down the road and turn and come back a mile on the other side).

There is a large yard for family games, a fire pit, horse shoes and cornhole.

We are about 30 minutes from many fun possibilities: Biltmore house, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest as well as quaint Hendersonville, Fletcher, Black Mountain.
There are many restaurants, brewies, and fun places to shop.
