Right on water, easy access. Perfect for a couple by themselves or with a child. Walk to commerce and restaurants, with bike or drive to much more. Loved it!

Location location location

My wife and I took our 14 month old on his first beach trip. Everything about this condo was perfect. Walk straight out on the beach. It was very easy to load and unload from the beach with our little one. Definitely will be booking Emerald 9 for next year!

Great location. Management was very good and replied to questions quickly. The only thing I feel could have been better was the shower could have been cleaner. Otherwise it was an awesome stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with our rental. For two people, it was perfect. We noticed that the sofa could be pulled out to sleep 2 more if needed. Everything was clean and the king sized bed was very comfy! The best part was the beach access. So easy to go back and forth during the day. Unfortunately, we only stayed 2 nights bc Hurricane Helene was moving in. I would definitely stay there again though!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only issues we had with the unit was the tile floor was not mopped and cleaned properly. The exhaust vent in the toilet room as well as the dryer vent needed to be cleaned and the unit had a foul odor when we entered. The trash containers on the beach were not emptied timely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is in a great location.. Right on the beach and right on bike trail! Super comfy bed and has everything you need. We did have a plumbing issue that had probably gone unreported for some time. Plumbers fixed it but we had no water for a whole night. All in all though a great place!!

On the beach

Great property as far as location to Seagrove and Seaside as well as the beach. The beach is literally out the door and down the steps. However, the property was not as clean as I would have liked it to have been. There were leftover food spills on the countertops, eating utensils that were not clean, a film/ring around the sink in the bathroom, and finally sheets that had fresh blood on them. Before Covid, I would have not been satisfied, but due to still being very much in a pandemic, I was not satisfied. I went and purchased my own sheets and blankets because I was uncomfortable sleeping otherwise.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented number 9 at Emerald Hills for 3 years and every year I experience a moldy smell when entering condo! After a couple days each year there is a leak that comes from ceiling! I always put up with it but this year it was unbearable! Wet towels at the end of bed! I was worried about slipping! Maintenance came but didn’t do a thing each year! This year was the worst! I have pictures of ceiling getting worst and worst each day! I’m a good camper but this was the limit for me! I need some compensation for this inconvenience! Property was dirty! Dead rat stayed they for whole week! Yikes!

Emerald Hill - GONE DOWNHILL!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful weather and perfect beach and very nice location; however, the facility is not being managed/maintained very well! We and other tenants experienced cockroaches in the room, multiple snakes, and large rats on the lawns (near the patio). The landscaping and grassy areas are not maintained. Very disappointed from our previous stay (about 4 years ago). There was roofing construction that was not on schedule. The workers did not clean up and there were nails and debris everywhere in the parking lot. Finally, a Benchmark Staff was on-site and made sure the debris was cleaned up (on Wednesday). We arrived on Saturday and was not able to move the car for fear of a punctured tire. The roofing contractors were messy and left their styrofoam lunch debris all over. Benchmark offered a 20% discount to stay during the construction debris but that was not enough compensation for this inconvenience!
