Niché au cœur de la subdivision des domaines forestiers du lac Higgins et situé au centre entre l'extrémité sud du lac Higgins et l'extrémité nord du lac Houghton. Ce chalet de 3 chambres et 1 salle de bain a été totalement mis à jour! Cuisine et salle de bain neuves. Nouveau revêtement de sol dans toute la maison avec de la peinture fraîche à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Une chambre au rez-de-chaussée avec un lit Queen. Une salle de bain complète au rez-de-chaussée. Rendez-vous à l'étage pour trouver 2 chambres supplémentaires - une avec un lit queen, l'autre avec deux lits doubles. Grande buanderie / buanderie / salle de boue. Grande terrasse couverte à l'avant de la maison et un terrain boisé et foyer à l'arrière. Une escapade parfaite dans le nord près du parc d'État de South Higgins Lake!

Great stay :)

This is the second time my family and I stayed at the cabin. We love it! Spacious for the 6 of us and in a wonderful location. The neighborhood is quiet and Higgins Lake South Park is so close. Thank you for everything!

Perfect up north getaway

This house has everything you need and more. It's very clean, and the layout is great. The hosts were wonderful. It was the perfect house for our annual family trip. Looking forward to coming back again.

Second Stay Did Not Disappoint!

This is our second 4th of July at what my toddler has labeled “the green house”. We spent one morning watching a fawn resting in the woods and a rainy day playing games in the living room! Our favorite thing about this house is how comfortable the beds are and how sturdy the couch and kitchen furniture is! We love how close it is to our family cabin at the lake and the Dollar General!

Cute, clean and woodsy

This cabin was perfect for my family of 4. We stayed in the area to visit family and to visit Higgins Lake and trail ride on side by sides. This cabin is decorated cute, was very clean and updated. The location was great for what we wanted to do. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely stay again!

Second time did not disappoint

Loved our weekend with our great friends & we all looked forward to our time together knowing the cabin was going to be amazing and it did not disappoint. Started the first morning seeing 5 deer outside the front door/window. Very clean, cozy , well equipped cabin.

Nice house in the woods. Very close to Higgins lake

The house was overall nicely updated and was a nice place to stay. I was not aware going into it (maybe I should have been) that the house did not have air conditioning and that they have some portable units in the house that have to drain into buckets and be emptied. That would be the only complaint.

Great rental house

This was a perfect rental house for our family. We attended a wedding nearby at The Barn. Enjoyed going to South Higgins Lake beach about 4 mins drive away. Dollar General is just outside of the sub if you need to grab something you forgot. Nibbles ice cream is also close by. The place is clean, well taken care of and the owners are great about communicating with you. We will be back!

The property was clean, well equipped, and had all of the amenities necessary to just kick back and relax at the lake. Additionally, you can't beat the location in close proximity to the lake.

Peaceful cabin!

Loved the cabin, it was very clean and nicely appointed. Bryan was very responsive and kind. We loved the property and neighborhood. We saw lots of deer including a pair of fawns with their mama. It’s a great place for kids and adults alike. We also loved being so close to south Higgins state park! Highly recommend.

This cabin was exactly as described. Very clean &, had everything you need to enjoy your stay. We had a slight issue with the entry lock but Bryan was very helpful and got us access right away. We will make this our go to for annual vacation

We are a busy family of 4 from Northwest Ohio. Mom, dad and two daughters. We have a hectic lifestyle of mostly work and some play. We like to visit Higgins Lake as often as we can, but we're not able to be here as often as we'd like to be, so we're opening up our home for you to enjoy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased this property as a family vacation destination. With so much to do all year around at Higgins Lake, this is the perfect place to spend our weekends when we're not working or traveling. When we can't be here, we want to share the experience with you. Enjoy the beach, shops and hiking and riding trails in the summer or go snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing or cross county skiing in the winter. Or you can take a day trip to dozens of quaint cities. Our cabin is in the middle of it all. Close to Higgins, Marl and Houghton Lake. Close to tons of great restaurants. Close to hiking and riding trails.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There is always something to do "Up North" no matter what time of year. We're close to so many attractions. Higgins Lake is amazing...the 6th most beautiful lake in the United States. There are many things to do: boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, hunting, ATV-ing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and so much more. Our cabin is in a neighborhood, but with wooded lots on all sides, it offers complete privacy. Put some corn out on our squirrel stands and sit back and watch the squirrels and deer play.
