Wonderful property, beautiful and relaxing. Serena was amazing and answered any query promptly and lovely about everything. Would throughly recommend a stay at this lovely home.
Absolutely stunning place to stay, very comfortable and amazing outlook. Serena was great to communicate with would most certainly recommend a stay you will never forget it.
This stunning, historic home exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of comfortable seating for the 3 of us to relax in the morning and evening, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It rained quite a bit during our visit, but there were books to read, and the view of the stream and the little bridge in the garden was lovely in all weather. The whole place looks like a painting. The location was great for visiting Stonehenge and Avebury. There are several pubs and shops a short drive away. The host was very friendly and helpful. We all loved our stay and would certainly come again.
The house and its extensive garden is a wonderful place to stay, particularly if you like peaceful rural locations and birdlife. The Vale of Pewsey with its lovely countryside, rivers, hillsides and the canal is a great place for walking and cycling with no shortage of places to eat.
amazing property, great location with so many places to visit in just a short drive. Although great to just relax in the garden and listen to the birds. Would definetly visit again
We had the most lovely few days at Sharcott Mill. Serena was a pleasure to deal with and was immediately responsive to our questions. The house and grounds exceeded our expectations. The surrounding countryside is idyllic and we're grateful that this listing was available. We would return in a heartbeat!
Beautiful home with delightful gardens. We and the dogs felt very much at home. An ideal base to explore the county with many excellent dog walks in the area, including on the doorstep. The house is very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. And Serena was very helpful before and during our stay.
We wanted a special place to celebrate a special weekend and this home was picture perfect! Private, quiet, beautiful, unique and the grounds/garden/stream was magical and we were greeted by a small deer!
Serena is very friendly and helpful even when calling her after 10pm for help. Thank you and would love to visit again.
We had an incredible time in the Mill house. It was such a cozy and comfortable house with a huge garden where we saw deer and a couple of ponies. We cooked in the house every evening and bought fantastic produce in the local farm shops and towns. Couldn't have asked for a nicer week away. We'll be coming back next year for sure! Serena was also absolutely lovely and made sure we were having the best possible stay.
Little Mill House is one of the most beautiful English cottages I've ever stayed in, me and my wife stayed there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful tranquil time away to stay here!
The house was the perfect spot for us to celebrate Christmas, we were warm, very comfortable and able to enjoy the beauty of the area. The house was delightful and beautifully furnished.
Gorgeous, large house, lovely grounds, terrific landlady. We did not twig, in advance, that this was actually somebody's (vacated) home, so we felt a little uncomfortable, at first, but it was such a comfortable house, we adapted quickly. We couldn't find the steak knives, but otherwise we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Would recommend, albeit it seemed slightly overpriced with only two available bedrooms. We had the relaxing holiday we were looking for.
My husband and I stayed at The Mill for a week just as lockdown restrictions were easing. It was a superb choice. The house was full of character. We loved coming downstairs to the warmth of the AGA in the morning. Watching the resident kingfisher over the mill stream was a treat and winding down by the log fire in the evening a great way to end the day.
Garden furniture on the patio meant that we could catch up with family and friends during these Covid times.
We didnât have any major problems but Serena was very quick to respond when we had questions.
I canât recommend this place highly enough if you like the peace of rural living.
We had an incredible few days in this very comfortable home. It is situated in the most idyllic location beside the mill stream with open countryside and walks all around. Serena could not have been more helpful.
We stayed here over Christmas and Serena couldnât have been more helpful with keeping in touch and making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The Mill house is simply stunning, lovely and warm and comfortable with open fireplaces, plenty of wood supplied and an Aga in the kitchen being the heart of the home. The views down the garden are amazing with the stream running through it. We are hoping to go back to experience the garden in the summer months . You wonât be disappointed if you stay here!
Beautiful cottage in stunning countryside. Serena was a wonderful and attentive host. We had an amazing stay. Highly recommended for access to Wiltshire, bath and Bristol etc.
Insgesamt: Jederzeit wieder!
Hi, my name is Serena and Sharcott Mill is my home. I happily let guests use my 2 spare bedrooms and have the use of the whole house and garden as I am often away. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped, and the garden is really large and pretty with the stream running past the Mill.
Sharcott Mill is secluded in a 5 acre garden/field with stream and woods at the bottom. You are very private here and the patio faces south west so is ideal for relaxing and eating outside.
