Récemment rénové !!! Vous ne croyez que c'est une maison de vacances de plage! Tout une maison peut offrir et plus encore !!! océan magnifique et rare / vue sur le lac condominium de luxe. Spacieuse et confortable maison loin de la maison. Accès à la plage est à quelques pas. Asseyez-vous sur le pont et regarder les amoureux jouent dans le sable. Idéalement situé dans une rue calme à sens unique. Une fois que vous garez votre voiture, jetez vos clés sur le comptoir; vous ne serez pas besoin d'eux à nouveau pendant votre séjour. Divertissement, fine et dîner décontracté au merveilleux restaurants locaux, des boutiques et un top 10 promenade classé sont tous à deux pâtés de maisons du centre-ville de Carolina Beach. Et, ne pas oublier les Britanniques Donuts, classé numéro 2 aux États-Unis et facilement une dépendance. Pendant la haute saison; profiter du parc d'attractions, des films au bord du lac, bingo, feux d'artifice et le marché des agriculteurs qui sont tous à une courte distance à pied.

Our family trip was perfect! The condo was set up nicely for a family of 6. If you forgot sunscreen or beach stuff they have you covered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

great location

this condo was pretty nice, super view of the ocean from the one deck ..overall nice but could tell that it was a rental ..light over stove not working, light over coffee bar not working, the doorknob out to the deck quit operating, probably rusty from the ocean but we could not keep the outside door shut, had to put table in front of it, not good for air conditioning and such, told the mgr but it was like that half of our trip there, the elevator worked but is pretty slow, that could be typical but at least it did work to bring suitcases and food and such up to 3rd floor ..overall nice but few things maybe need attention.

Very nice well stocked condo in great location.

Loved this unit. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving out of town. Upper level gave good view of ocean from across the street but made stair climbing a challenge. There was an Elevator if you needed it. Awesome location near bars and restaurants a few blocks away. We would stay there again.

Excellent Vacation Stay

This is one of the best houses we've stayed in. Excellent amenities. Great location, fantastic views of the ocean, a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Beyond beach activities we found may attractions in the area and in Wilmington all within a 30-minute drive or less.

Cant be beat in Carolina Beach!

Top notch place to stay in Carolina Beach! Well stocked with fantastic views of both the Ocean and Lake. Right in the middle of everything you could want. Walk 5 minutes to the Boardwalk, ice creme, restaurants, and most importantly right across the street from the beach access. Perfect location to be around it all. House is well stocked for cooking, provides all the needed towels and other linens, beach chairs, and all the things you really need to just enjoy the beach without having to pack more than a suitcase of clothes!

Weekend Hideaway

We planned a weekend away with our family of 9 to this condo. Plans changed and my husband, 4 year old son and I were the only three to go on the trip. The condo is in an excellent location and is just as advertised, if not better. The layout is open and allows for relaxing without worrying about the littles safety because they can be seen in all common areas. We came back well rested and so thankful for the time together we had here.

Comfortable ocean view home in a good location

Most well-stocked vacation rental we've stayed in -- kitchen ware, multiple towels per person, beach chairs and bicycles. The location was great in early May. The furnishings were very comfortable and the wall colors and art work were quite pleasing to the eye. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. Pre-arrival information and check in was easy to follow and our contact with the owner and property manager were very prompt. It was a great vacation there. Thanks!

"I want to go back to Big Blue"

These were the words from a 4, 3, and 2 year old...actually truth be known they are the words from their parents and grandparents! Wonderful house, great location! We agree with all the good reviews...God willing we will be "back to Big Blue"!

Truly Serenity By The Sea

We had some issues checking in as the private elevator did not work and our door codes were incorrect, but a call to the VRBO manager and owner rectified the problems in a timely manner. The condo was immaculate and one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever rented. Everything was as the owner, Renee, stated in the property description. Really cannot say enough good things about our stay. I would highly recommend this property as a rental.

Perfection!

This was my family's second stay at Big Blue and we couldn't be happier. We vacationed at Big Blue in August, 2019 and had a fantastic time. Our group included six adults and two children. The house is spacious enough that it gives everyone enough privacy, yet there is plenty of shared space for family bonding and memory-making. This house comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. All you need is your swimsuit and sunglasses! We can't give this place high enough praise!!

Fantastic Location

Our family wanted to stay here in 2020, but our plans were derailed due to Covid. It took us three years, but we were thrilled to finally come to Serenity by the Sea. The house is so clean, full of light, plenty of space, a full stocked kitchen for real cooking, games, and to top it all off - a beautiful view! The elevator was essential since one member of our family uses a wheelchair. While the bathrooms are not exactly wheelchair accessible, we were able to make it work. The easy ramp access to the beach was fantastic, as was the use of the garage for keeping the large beach wheelchair loaned to us by Carolina Beach. Our family enjoyed being within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do that week. We highly recommend Serenity by the Sea!

Families Beware

The overall centrality of the location was great. We were able to walk to all of the daily attractions. Unfortunately, "children welcome" has unlisted exceptions. We were traveling with small children who behave...well you know like small children. They property had no kid friendly eatery so our kids had to eat off of paper towels and counters (2 year old and 4 year olds don't do well with breakable plates and cups). This resulted in more than necessary dirty hands and lots of extra cleaning during the stay on our part. Overall, as parents of small children we realized it was their vacation but would have been nice to relax a little in the evenings after they went to bed. Them there was the downstairs neighbor. The downstairs neighbor called and complain about noise from them during the day to the property manager. Who apparently is friends with them and told us if the noise continues they will kick us out. The rest of the stay we had to suppress our children's natural enthusiasm and restrict them to the top floor. The neighbor complained about us using the elevator "30 times an hour." This would have been quite a feat as it takes the elevator 2 minutes round trip, you can do the math as to what that would have required. For rest of the trip we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs carrying 2 young (but not that light) children each. Normally would have had the children walk but several times a day and after trips to the pier and beach does not leave the kids with much energy. And of course couldn't have them upset in the hallways. All of this would have just been chalked up to an annoying neighbor, except they had the nerve to complain about this in an email to me 8 days after checkout. With the added exaggeration of the property manager coming to the property because of it, we didn't see him since check in. In this email contained a categorigal list of charges which they were charging us for "damage." Apparently they have not taken reasonable precautions to protect their furniture. Being a property owner who rents as well, many of the damages should have been resolved with stain removal and normal cleaning. Fortunately we took out insurance for damages which they are charging. This further angers because according to their charges they expected us to do a complete thorough cleaning and were upset their cleaning service had to do things like wipe counters and walls. Young children are not welcomed and does not makeup for location.

Thanksgiving at Carolina Beach

We went to the condo for a Thanksgiving family reunion. It was very well furnished and very spacious. It was very convenient to the beach. We specially liked the fact that it had a dedicated elevator, since it was accessed on the fourth floor. The elevator was small and quite slow, but still quicker than walking up the steps. And in fact, we had a good time joking about the elevator. Overall it was a wonderful visit and we would stay there again.

Picture perfect CB property

Our family just spent one week at this property and we are looking forward to returning again in the future! The property was incredibly clean and accommodating! Kitchen was stocked with everything you will need for large family meals. Additional amenities provided by host include laundry pods/dryer sheets, beach chairs and beach cruisers. The location to the beach was much closer than I expected and the view from the porch was picturesque! The small elevator was helpful for members of the family that weren’t able to navigate the multiple flights of stairs. Would highly recommend this property!

Excellent property

This is a beautiful top floor condo with a perfect location and stunning views. The home is beautifully maintained and immaculate. The owner supplied ample towels, paper products, dish soap, clothes detergent, etc. above and beyond what is customary. The beds are extremely comfortable and bed linens are lovely. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. We loved or Christmas week at Serenity by the Sea. The elevator was broken and we managed to work around it, but it could be a problem so be forewarned. Also there is no exception to the 5:00 pm check in time. All in all we’d highly recommend this beautiful home!

Beautiful home

Great location and a great home. Had everything we needed and more. So much room to spread out. Everything was of high quality and not what you would expect from a rental. Owner is super sweet. Checked in several times during hurricane Ian. Would definitely stay again. Three year old granddaughter said the best thing about vacation was “our house”.

Great family get away!! We will go back!

This host has thought of EVERYTHING!! From a 1year old to 58 year old this property was perfect!! Views were great! Beach access great! Very short walk to the boardwalk and dining! 2 items were broken upon our arrival but we notified the PM and they noted it. Honestly this is the best place we have stayed!!
