The unit was nicely updated and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this unit to everyone and would also stay here again. We have stayed in many other units here and wouldn't go anywhere else to stay, we love the property and everyone there!

This is the third time we are renting at Arcadian. It was good

Reviewer Comments: Our two complaints are the toaster which was not fonctioning and the hairdryer was very dirty. We did not have followup on these matters from the main office.

Great location with even better views!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arcadia I! The views from the condo are AMAZING and the furnishings inside so comfortable. Beaches out front are clean and not crowded like other places and the pool area is very clean and kid friendly. Everyone we met on staff there were so friendly and welcoming. This condo has it all and we look forward to returning!

Vacation 2024

We love coming to Arcadia year after year. Best spot in our opinion and close to everything you could want to do. The condo wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived but overall, a very nice place to stay. We look forward to coming next year!

Arcadian visitor from New Jersey

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very friendly people, stunning views from the ocean front balcony,centrally located to many stores and restaurants. The unit itself however was not at all clean. I was very disappointed by this. The pillows were all slobber stained and God knows what else. I was so grossed out by that. The kitchen was not at all clean either. We didn't use anything in the condo we had to go and buy our own things to use. It saddens me that rentals like these in a resort town aren't ordered or inspected to keep this places up to par. We all travel a distance to have a vacation and it's difficult to settle in after such a long drive. I won't down talk the owner or the condo but I wouldn't return to this particular place. I suggest Arcadian inspect better before allowing an owner to rent our their units. It was quite gross. And after a 10 hour drive we couldn't get into our unit because the communication from property management didn't leave our packet in the lock box. Took a few hours with the help of a resident and the female maintenance worker we found to look for our packet.

Family vacation

Very smooth arrival and check-in. Property was amazing with beautiful views looking over the beach and pool area. Was conveniently located, with many attractions(Barefoot Landing, Boardwalk at the Beach, Pirates Voyage, etc.) a short drive away. In addition it was close to Krogers and Walmart, which was helpful in picking up groceries or items we forgot to get bring from home. Would definitely consider staying at Arcadian 1 again in the future.

We stayed at PHE which we must say does need updates,could use new countertops,appliances bathtubs etc.Friends stayed on 6th floor and their unit was beautiful you would've thought that was the PH.We were stunned PHE didn't even have beach chairs.We thank owners Sam and Amy from 12C for offering chairs for us to use. I would definitely stay there again but would go into a different unit.

Arcadian One is a secluded area of the beach that is not overly crowded like the Hilton or Seawatch. Things seemed back to normal after the pandemic. This being said, restaurants were understaffed and most places were not accepting customers after 8:00. Golfing including top golf was great.

Incredible view

Was very nice to stay at such a beautiful property full of windows overlooking the beach on the top floor. Was just as advertised. Easy access to the pool, beach and even the Hilton pool next door. It's quieter than directly in Myrtle Beach which is just what we wanted. You are close to restaurants, shops and an outlet mall. Spent a couple days on a boat which was fun too. Would come back some day if possible. Thanks for letting us stay.

Have been staying here for many years

As I have been coming since childhood. This unit was no different. Unit was nicely furnished. Great view from the top. The Nest temperature control needed recalibrated as it didn’t cool effectively. Pool bathroom is clean. Wish check-in hadn’t been moved back 2 hours. Office staff is always polite. Maintenance staff too. Super close to outlet shopping and short drive to Barefoot Landing.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were told that the pool would be finished with repairs, but for half of our vacation we were kicked out of the pool for hours each day. Kids who are having fun in the pool are never happy to be told that they have to leave. We have been coming to the Arcadian for 35 years and I was disappointed this year with the cleanliness of the rooms. There was thick mold growing all over the Curtains in our living room. I expect the rooms to be cleaned as well as one would expect in a hotel room. From what I heard and saw from others’ rooms as well, this is absolutely not the case and is unsanitary. Also, many of the rooms need to be updated. Our room was nice, but other family members were in various rooms in the building that I witnessed. For the price of the units, I would expect nicer amenities in many of them. I don’t think you can justify the cost for rooms that haven’t been updated for 30 years. Lastly, I asked several days ago that someone call me about some of the above issues and I was told that management would call me back to discuss a discount. No one ever called.
