It was perfect for our family. The view and the lake were amazing. The water was so clear and clean. The house was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed.

The view is beautiful. The kitchen is massive to accommodate big families they like to cook their own food and eat around the table together. Plenty of room for everybody. It’s on Kabekona lake, which is the second clearest lake in Minnesota. The architecture and the decorations are pristine. Will probably come back here.

The place was magnificent. Enjoying most meals outside. Taking in the lake view. It couldn't have been better. The beds were great! So good I made my husband sleep alone a couple nights! We were outside most days from sun up to sun down! In the rooms there should be something ntween the beds. Like a shelf to put a water bottle on. Also, getting down to the boat andlake was a little steep. I had to buy a rope as a handle. Also shower grips on the floor. Thought I was going to die. Other than that the

This was our second time staying here. Check-in was extremely easy, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the location was perfect! We were close enough to run and do fun adventures and had access to a beautiful lake. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught a variety of fish.

Family Vacay on Kabekona

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful lake home on Kabekona! This location perfectly accommodated our family of 10, providing all the amenities we needed. The lake is lovely and so clean! The kids (and adults) enjoyed swimming right off the beach, as well as, fishing from the dock. On the rainy days, the puzzles and games provided were enjoyed. Walker is a fun town for shopping and dining, too. We would definitely return!

Wonderful property on an amazing lake!

Our last minute trip up north was really great because of this property! Our family had a great time. The only issue that we had was the lake shore looked like it was flat, but it was a little steep to get to the water. With the little kids that made it a little hard to get up and down.

Beautiful Quiet lake

The lake was beautiful, very clean with sandy bottom. Just what we love. Some small rocks near the shoreline. Highly recommend water shoes. The house worked great for the 6 adults and 4 small children ages 3-5yrs.

This is a great place to stay for a relaxing week at the lake! Kitchen was nicely stocked, plenty of beach towels and outdoor chairs, beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We also liked having the garage available to park boats on the few rainy days. The only downside is the beach is on a steep slope and would not be ideal for really little kids who like to play in the sand. We had older kids in our group who just wanted to be in the water so it was not a problem for us. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend this property!

We love this property and lake

This was a return visit for our family as we so enjoyed our visit last year. The property is very clean, the house is beautiful and suits the needs of our family perfectly. The lake is absolutely beautiful and amazingly clean. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Nothing to complain about with our group! Everyone left happy again this year.

Wonderful time with family and friends

The check in process went smoothly. The home was extremely clean. Kitchen was large, had double ovens which came in handy, plenty of dishes, glasses, cups and silverware. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. The each was weed free and the lakeside deck with table, umbrella and chairs was the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day. All in all it was a great place to spend a week at the lake.

Great Get Away Very Relaxing!

We had two families stay at the house. Two couples and three teenage boys. The house was clean , had plenty of space and accommodated us well. The upstairs bonus space was huge and a great place for the boys to hang out. The space was private and remote and perfect for a COVID vacation. The lake was crystal clear. We had marginal success fishing. We did catch 6 walley one northern and several rock bass? over the week on our boats. It was the perfect place, plenty of room, great outdoor space and the house was fairly well stocked with kitchen stuff. The kitchen was very large and was a great gathering place. The only thing that was a surprise was that there was a bit of a drop off on the beach to the lake. Other than that it was perfect. I highly recommend as a getaway!!!,

This house was awesome! It filled all of our families needs! There was 11 of us, we needed a high chair, crib, a toddler bed, two twin bed, four bigger bed!! They had it all! Everyone had comfortable space together and plenty of space if you needed some quiet space!! The kitchen was great and equipped with all of our needs! The fridge was huge! The washer and dryer were fabulous, and in use a lot with 11 people! The empty 3 car garage was nice to have to put cars, extra coolers and beach toys in! The only thing I would have hoped was better is the beach. It was very rocky and hard to get down to for children and adults! Bring water shoes to use getting down to beach, once in the water the bottom was sandy. They did have a fair size pile of sand above on the grass for the kids to play in. Nice! We were very happy and hopefully will be back!! The owner and maintenance man were wonderful to work with! Anything we needed they were right there taking care of it! They both shared a lot of information about the area and things to do! Very Pleased!

Everything was fabulous. Absolutely no complaints. The property was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything we needed was there and easily accessible. The lake view from the house is stunning with water color and clarity that would rival the Carribean. The beach and sandy bottom in front of the house was great for swimming. Suggestions for improvement would be:Add stairs to access the dock and beach area. It is a steep sandy up hill climb from the water. Maybe provide kayaksEnsure that the Pontoon Lift is properly positioned and ready for use. (I'm certain Josh would've moved it if we had asked).Would highly recommend. It's a 10!

It was very nice! The air conditioning was a little wonky making one bedroom consistently warm and another cold. It was 90 degrees much of the week so that exacerbated the issue but all in all a minor inconvenience. The house and amenities were wonderful. The beach was a little steep to get down to with a steel grate you had to walk on tho get up and down the hill but the lake was unbelievable! Big and clean. Awesome for fishing, boating, skiing and tubing. I highly recommend this property for a family get together. We stayed there with 3 daughters, 3 son-in-laws and 4 grandkids. There was plenty of room to play games, eat together and make great memories.

Relaxing vacation to end summer

Very nice cabin with plenty of space for a family of 7. Beautiful sunset views. We weren’t familiar with the lake but Kabekona is a big lake with sand bottom and very clear water. Overall a great vacation.

Relaxing week at Lake Kabakona

Our family had the best time at this lake house. It had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfy, but the outdoor space was the highlight. We spent hours on the deck, around the firepit and enjoying the beautiful lake. Fishing was a bust, but that is to be expected in July. It is conveniently located to Walker and Park Rapids. The owner was wonderful to work with and gave me great recommendations for boat rental and water toys. Cannot recommend this home enough. We did not want to leave.

So charming and family friendly!

Beautiful family home. Loved the large sofas and large chairs. The lake view is breathtaking; clean lake; kayaking was amazing; the river stream was a favorite. Loved the large light kitchen and large family dining table. The storage is so abundant. Lots of hot water for many showers; the air conditioner worked wonderfully. We ran a few fans upstairs Loved the large garage; the fire pit was super convenient. Thank you for spraying for mosquitoes! The blinds were a bit touchy to adjust. The stove and microwave needed our additional cleaning when we arrived. But all other areas were wonderfully clean. Beds, bedding, extra pillows, lots of towels. The loons called every night!

Beautiful property

We were so comfortable and pleased with the home and the lake. Beautiful clear lake and well cared for property. Everyone left happy and will consider renting again. The house is close to the lake and the view can’t be beat! The access to the lake could be made easier for us older folk!

Beautiful August Family Lake Trip

The home was extremely clean and worked well for a big group. We had a great time despite a really windy week that limited some of our lake time. The owner's responsiveness to our questions was fantastic and we had a lot of help getting a pontoon and kayaks delivered. Thanks so much for a wonderful lake vacation!

Family gathering

The house was so clean and thought out for children. The rooms and doors made it possible for a baby to sleep while older kids ran and played without bothering others. The space was perfect for our extended family.

Excellent place!

Wonderful home with well stocked kitchen and great space. Perfect spot on the lake and right on the ATV trail. Very nice - definitely recommend.
