Crisfield est une ville tranquille, située sur la magnifique baie de Chesapeake, qui se targue d'être «le Capitole du crabe du monde», et est située sur la côte est du Maryland.

Au centre-ville, vous trouverez d'excellents magasins et restaurants, des chartes de pêche quotidiennes et des bateaux de croisière (vers les îles Tanger et Smith), ainsi que des locations de bateaux et de kayaks.

Un court trajet en voiture (ou une pagaie de canoë / kayak) vous amène au parc d'État de Janes Island, qui compte plus de 30 miles de sentiers aquatiques dans son île de marais salant de 2 900 acres Chesapeake Bay. Les excursions d'une journée dans un certain nombre d'endroits merveilleux comprennent: Assateague, Chincoteague, Ocean City et l'historique Princess Anne.

Cute Cottage

We had a great stay. Very cute little waterfront cottage, nice pier, and quiet street. We spent a majority of our time on our boat that we took with us and had a remarkable time fishing, crabbing, and exploring the area.

Relaxing quiet getaway

The house was super clean and well stocked! The kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We were able to safely dock our boat for the weekend right at the house. The owners were super nice and accommodating. They left a list of things to do around town and a map of the waterway since we were unfamiliar. If time allows we will definitely visit again.

If you love crabs . .

My husband, sister and I booked this trip to Crisfield Maryland. My husband and I had stayed here years ago in the "gold" house. We had such a wonderful time these last 4 days. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The crabbing was fantastic and loads of fun. If you like crabbing and eating blue crabs, I highly recommend this place for you.

Great getaway

The house was absolutely perfect and provided everything we needed for our family of 5 to have a long weekend on the water. The owners left plenty of crabbing gear for us and my boys spent most of the time checking traps and swimming in the bay. We were lucky with jelly fish during our trip until the last day but the kayaks at the house gave us a chance to enjoy the water without having to get in also. The neighbors were all very friendly and it was a nice, quiet getaway.

Serene Views from a Cozy Cottage

The place was great! My fiancé and I had a great time fishing and crabbing. We were able to eat some crabs. The small quiet town was great and recommend the Waters Edge Cafe and Captain Tyler's Crabhouse for dinning out. This property really has lots of serenity and peace. You can lounge on the deck or the pier to the wonderful view of the water and town. Locals are friendly and helpful. I will look into going back again in the near future.

The cottage was clean with lots of games, puzzles and books available. The location was super-quiet and relaxing. We loved watching the fish boats, crabbing and sunning.

Lovely Stay

We had a most enjoyable stay. Our grandson enjoyed crabbing from the dock, the sunsets are gorgeous. Bob and Mary Beth are wonderful hosts. We hope to book for June and September next year, but must save up for deposit....hope there will be vacancies by then!

Nice spot for Crabbing and Fishing!

If you want a nice location close to everything in the town with an excellent Dock and yard, this is it. Just a short walk to town, or minutes drive to grocery or dining. Managed to catch a little over a bushel of keepers and plenty of Spots and Perch.

Everything I wanted it to be!

Small waterfront cottage that reminded me of times in my family's old beach house from 30+ years ago. Plain and simple, quiet, great water access, relaxing and pretty much 30 mins to anything you want to do in any direction. Great place to unwind following our week long stay in Ocean City. A week here was the change in pace I needed and I couldn't ask for more with the time it gave me to make new memories with my own family!!! We will be back again for sure!!

Bayside Retreat

The dock and pier are perfect for crabbing and docking a small boat! Crabbing is outstanding. The sunsets are amazing! The cozy cottage is perfect and has Everything you need! Groceries are just minutes down the road..Wonderful retreat every year we go!

Amazing!! The cottage well stocked. The dock, the view, crabbing, everything I wanted and more. The nostalgic games, an unexpected surprise, kept us occupied for days while crabbing . Close proximity to chincoteague island, magnificent horses. Could go on and on. Can't wait to return. Fantastic adventure!!

R & R in Crisfield

Mary Beth & Bob, Loved it, just what we were looking for!! Nice relaxing spot on the water with all the comforts of home. Relaxation

We enjoyed our stay. My wife is a year round tax pro, and this year was very busy and stressful. We needed the quiet time, and this was the perfect venue. Very clean and all appliances worked perfectly.. Recommend to any one.

Peaceful and quiet

Spent a week on the bay and unplugged. What a nice change of pace. Caught crabs for a feast on our last night. There is not a lot to do in town, but if you are looking for peace and quiet on the Bay, then this place is for you!

Comfortable house with spectacular views, great place to enjoy the MD Eastern Shore

My husband and I [and our two dogs] really enjoyed our stay at this waterfront property in Crisfield. The house is cozy and clean, the yard and dock are great for sitting outside and admiring the view. We brought along our kayaks and paddled the waterway trails at Jane's Island State Park, they are very well marked and maintained and the launches make it easy to get onto and off of the water. Crisfield is a quintessential MD Eastern Shore town that was fun to explore and I'm sure would be even more enjoyable during peak season.
