While it's nothing fancy, it was very clean and comfortable. Close to the national park. The town of Packwood is rustic with some cool places to get food/ gifts

Perfect place for our trip to the National Park! The apartment is cozy and clean, an easy walk from restaurants, coffee shop, and the grocery.

Felt like home the minute I walked in the door. Everything was so clean and fresh. Fully fitted kitchen allowed me to prepare meals before and after day trips to Mt Rainier. Grocery, Pubs and other local businesses are within walking distance. Great choice for 1 to 2 people.

Clean little cabin in town near food and drink. Not very fancy but comfortable and clean. Only drawback was the mondo dog poop landmines in the backyard (which I think was the neighbors and was cleaned up on day 2). And it appears to be on an aging septic system so sometimes the bathroom drain had a weird smell. But for the price and location a great place!

Comfortable Home Away from Home

Spent a long weekend here with my dog, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the morning as well as proximity to a variety of local attractions.

Great spot to explore the area

This space is an excellent affordable option for a home base to explore the area. It is no frills but had everything we needed to be comfortable. We really appreciated the AC unit in the master, it was critical for the weather. Would definitely stay here again!

We have family in Packwood.This location kept us close. We brought our dogs and it was enough space for them and us. Well supplied and clean

This is a small but functional unit and a great home base for visiting Mt Rainier National Park. My only suggestion is to update the sleeper sofa for this to truly be considered for four people.

I was skeptical at first with this many positive reviews, but now I see why. The carpets were freshly vacuumed, the home was clean, and that might be the most comfortable bed and sheets I’ve slept on. It was incredibly dog friendly without any trace that dogs had been there, and it was just big enough to be cozy but not crammed. The weather didn’t cooperate so we spent more time in the home than we planned. With that said, we enjoyed our cozy mornings in and loved seeing an elk right down the street. There are several restaurants, a market, a souvenir shop, and a visitor center all within walking distance.

For us, location is most important, and this was perfect. Its nothing fancy, but has all that we needed and was clean! We walked to dinner and the brewery both nights we stayed. We watched elk feeding on an apple tree right down the road, and made our way easily to our hiking destinations each day. Its a great spot!

Hiking trip

Stayed while visiting Mt Rainier. Great location, place was very clean! Comfortable bed! Owner kept in touch to make I everything good. They even when out of their way to mail me my watch charger I left behind. I would definitely stay again!!
