Although hard to navigate up the steep hill and tight turns, with a large truck, the property was easy to find and very nice and cleanly and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our stay. Very easy access to Brokenbow and Hochetown.
Such a very cozy cabin, clean and had easy check in and check out process. Close to the River and lake! Had a great time. Drive way was very steep and a little scary, definitely hard for my dad to walk on. Great for young couple and kids. Make sure you have good tires and brakes!
Our stay there was fantastic. Thank you for allowing us to stay there. Only issue we had was the driveway steep and no way to turn around when you reached the top do we had to back up the drive each time which was not very easy.
It was a great place to stay really enjoyed the area! I felt like I was in the mountains. Very easy check in and check out. Great area to visit for nature!!
Overall we had a good stay here. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin. We enjoyed that it was mostly surrounded by trees and was fairly private. We had a few minor issues that were unresolved because there is no cell service, so we were unable to contact management. The driveway was difficult to navigate. The first one is curved and steep, the second one is a straight shot to the door but it's even steeper. Our Yukon Dinali couldn't make it up the second driveway. You'd probably need a 4x4 for that one. We were unable back down the steep curved driveway at night due to low visibility.
We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin was very clean and cozy. We only had two days there but wishing we had planned for more. Would definitely go back.
We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this cabin if youâre needing a ânature breakâ! It is nestled among trees which is really relaxing. The cabin was clean and had blackout curtains in the room with the king size bed. It did not have blackout curtains in the bunk bed room though. We heeded the advice from previous guests and took our truck. So glad we did because we donât think our minivan would have made it. It has an extremely steep driveway. Thatâs why you have the beautiful tree view but bear in mind what you will be driving. The weather had been raining and warm before we arrived so we had to watch out for ticks. Just something to be mindful of in the woods! Overall, it was a great cabin and we would definitely visit again.
This cabin was perfect for my group of 4. Every thing you could possibly need in the kitchen was there. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels and extra blankets as well. Hot tub was awesome. An SUV or truck is definitely needed to get up the drive way.
Our family of 5 stayed here, and we all thought the cabin was absolutely perfect- the size, the amenities, the location and proximity to anything and everything- we would absolutely stay here again! The only issue we had was trying to get up and down the very steep driveway in our loaded van. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something worth mentioning. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at Eagleâs Nest and hope to stay there again sometime!
We got more than we thought we would. Drive way was steep, but able to do it without problems. We were not expecting a hot tub, what a nice surprise. Beautiful place to stay. The only thing my husband would add, is a light where the BBQ pit is.
The cabin was small but not terrible. There was only one bathroom and it was tiny with poor lighting. The water heater was inconsistent changing from hot to cold to hot while showering. We are hot tub owner and know if they are clean, and by the smell and look of the foam on the water let us know this one was not clean.
Overall, the cabin was nice and the location was great. The only complaints we have are that the cabin couldâve been cleaner, we smelled smoke the minute we walked in, and the mattress had bed bugs. There was stuff left in the sink as well. Wish we could rate it higher, but cleanliness is very important to us.
Property was clean and well stocked. They are two bedrooms, one with a very comfy king bed, a sliding glass door to the deck and stacked washer and dryer in the closet. The second bedroom has twin bunk beds, and we didnât find out until the day we were leaving that there is a pullout bed in the piece of furniture beside the bunks. There is a hot tub which isnât pictured, but itâs nice. The driveway is steep, but we had two Toyota Camry and one Ford fusion and had no issues whatsoever getting up the driveway even in the rain. We used a baby gate across the narrow area of the deck to keep the small kids from getting to the stairs to the fire pit out back. We personally needed a bigger dining table for our group but made it work. WiFi password is on the fridge, the one in the book is not correct. All in all the cabin was great.
The cabin was nice, had everything we *needed for a week. There isnât a dishwasher which I am sure I simply missed, it wasnât a deal breaker but with little kids it was a lot of work.I would advise anyone choosing to stay at this cabin to have a vehicle that does well with steep hills. The driveway is very steep. Overall I would totally stay again, it was kid friendly and you are literally 5 minutes from the visitors center and 5 minutes from town.
