Great place overall and we enjoyed our stay. One suggestion for the host: stocking a few kitchen basics like foil, plastic wrap, and salt and pepper would go a long way for guests who plan to cook. Easy fix, and it'd make a great stay even better!

The property was very nice as for location. Very central to Blue Ridge and Elljay. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive as I’m not sure a car will make it up the driveway, very steep and gravel. The house was very well built but needs a lot of TLC and outdoor cleaning(decks) and furniture. Plenty of room if you have a large family or several families. Communication was sketchy. There was firewood available but could not use the inside fireplace, flue issues, so we used the outside one on the deck. That was nice. Pricing is good if split between several families or if you have a large family and need lots of beds.

We really enjoyed our stay! Three couples and one child were very comfortable in the space. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The views are even better in person than in the photos. The drive up to the cabin wasn’t as treacherous as other cabins I’ve visited in the Blue Mountain/Cherry Log area, and it was absolutely beautiful driving through the woods with all the fall colors. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the cabin and would happily stay again.

Very private and very comfortable. We had one visitor. He was on the outside of the screened porch. He eventually slithered off into the woods. ( Picture is included. Wonderful place to rest and relax for a long weekend.

Peaceful escape

Our family of four had a lovely, peaceful week staying at this property. The house was as pictured and we were happy with the amenities provided (e.g. the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of firewood). It was quiet and peaceful, with enough space for everyone to spread out and relax. There are several activities within 30 minutes or less driving distance (hiking, apple picking, shopping in downtown Ellijay). The kids are already asking when we can go back!

Loved it!

Absolutely loved it, will definitely be back! It was great to have main floor AND lower level master bedrooms, and separate thermostats! Cabin was immaculate and secluded with a great view! There is a little steep part at the beginning of the gravel driveway that you probably should have front or all wheel drive. Our front wheel drive CRV handled it fine. Property management was prompt, courteous and responsive! You will not be disappointed, loved this cabin!!!
