Lovely peaceful location surrounded by vines. Pool was great even if the weather was overcast. Marc was really friendly and happy to give recommendations on things to do. Wine was great too. If we are even in the area, would definitely stay again it was like the perfect tranquil home from home!
The property is beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. Pristinely cleaned.
The views are spectacular and watching the vineyard be tended to and wandering the sunflowers and vines was a treat.
The kitchen is small-but perfectly catered for, arriving to chilled water and a complimentary bottle of the wine from the vineyard.
We ate here every night and had everything we needed.
Nearest supermarket is 5 mins away and thereâs a bigger one in Bergerac which is about 15mins away.
The pool is cleaned daily and is in excellent condition-with plenty of seating and lounging.
We were made to feel incredibly welcomed with Doris (who lives next door) helping my children wash the horses (Faeombe and Forrest) and buying them sweets!
Weâve stayed in this area several times and were incredibly impressed.
What was a little frustrating (but not a big problem) was the listing for bedrooms and bathrooms was not accurate on HomeAway.
There are 3 bedrooms not 6 and 3 bathrooms not 5.
One double room is in a separate building attached to the main house, the other two are in the main holiday home. With a bit of moving the kids about it was fine. I wouldnât have booked knowing about the correct number of bedrooms-but am so glad we did!
